[Archived] RAM usage?

Problem Details:
When I play, I sometimes get random lag spikes. I have nothing else open besides Discord, and was wondering if I could increase the RAM usage of osu. I only have one thing open at a time so I dont have a problem increasing the RAM needed. I have 16gb RAM with an i7-7700HQ CPU processor with x64 on Windows 10.

Try disabling your antivirus if you have one.
Otherwise, check out this thread

If you already have 16gb of RAM, I highly doubt adding any more would fix your problem.

Try looking for background programs and processes to disable to stop whatever may be causing the stuttering.

The osu! client will be allocated whatever resources it needs at the time so that's not a worry.
