1. BubblemanThroughout 2017, bubbleman displayed incredible versatility, displaying incredible skill in tournaments, crazy unranked and technical maps, and more recently showing that he does have capacity to drop ranks at an incredible rate with insane DT scores. It often seems like there isn't anything he can't play.
He has often ended up in slumps where he will doubt his performance, but it's been his ability to make it through these slumps and overcome his self-doubt that has turned him into the monster of a player he has become today.
2. SpareA close second, Spare has spent this year showing that he is capable of more than just high acc HDDT scores, displaying incredible skill in his reading and accuracy between different mods, even setting the first ever nomod 600pp score in the UK with a high accuracy 1xmiss on Uta. During recent tournaments, Spare has displayed that he is force to be reckoned with, and fully capable of carrying his team to victory.
3. KarthyKarthy is quite possibly the most consistent player in the UK, and he keeps getting better all the time. Earlier this year Karthy's improvement even threatened to take what was #2 UK at the time from Bubbleman himself. Karthy has phenomenal accuracy, especially on streams most notable on scores such as his 99.86% fc on Blue Zenith [FOUR DIMENSIONS], achieving the highest accuracy on what is one of the most notorious maps in osu!
4. OPJamesOPJames has the best HD reading in the UK, I don't think it's even possible to argue otherwise. He has shown insane amounts of improvement over the course of the year, becoming one of the strongest tournament players in the UK, even winning UKCC 2017.
5. MoeYandereMoeYandere is probably the fastest DT player in the UK. Although his skill with this HD skill is somewhat lacking, he makes up for it with insanely fast aim and tapping, accumulating crazy fc's such as Wagamama mirror heart and High Free spirits, maps that are difficult for some of the best DT players in the world to fc
6. CastielCastiel showed up out of nowhere this year, setting insanely consistent HR and nomod scores with incredible accuracy as well as some impressive DT scores here and there, making him the only player in the UK top 10 to have set all his top 3 pp plays with different mods.
We can definitely expect big things to come from Castiel next year.
7. bahameteFor a large portion of this year it seemed like baha's inactivity meant he was done with osu and had decided to quit, going from previously #1 UK in late 2015 to #10 during November, however, come OWC and baha showed that he still has what it takes to perform at a top level, smashing peoples expectations by nearly fc'ing Image material with insanely high accuracy, one of the most notorious maps in osu! with only 2 fc's to date. Baha's tournament performance has been nothing less than incredible during the OWC so far, and I expect there's still much more to see, as his reading, speed and fingercontrol are certainly skills that will come in useful during this tournament.
8. MafhamMafham is in a league of his own when it comes to UK EZ mod players, considered by some to be on a skill level that rivals that of -GN's. Mafham is one of the few players in the UK who can set EZ scores that cannot be contested on a global scale, such as his EZDT fc on oddloop, a map that no other player has managed to fc with DT to date. However, mafham is not limited to only reading scores, as unlike a lot of other EZ mod players he is capable of comfortably handling high BPM, as he displayed with his 99.87%
EZ fc on FREEDOM DiVE - [FOUR DIMESIONS], only hitting 4 100's during the entire map.
9. DoomsdayEven if he's #9 on this list, he'll always be #1 in my heart.
On a serious note, Doomsday has displayed incredible consistency and technical skill throughout the year, showing that his tournament experience is nothing to overlook.
10. RazuhAt the moment, Razuh is uncontested as the strongest 3mod player in the UK, coming out of nowhere setting what was a 700pp choke for 659pp on shiori hddthr, skipping 500pp. He is currently the second highest ranked mouse player in the UK after Doomsday, however, he is certainly primed to take the #1 mouse player spot for himself in the near future. Expect crazy scores from him in 2018, as his improvement may very well exceed that of any other on this list
Thought I'd give some reasoning behind my votes.
