Transferring Beatmaps between PC's

Can I just copy the songs directory from one PC to the other?
I remember reading something about copying the files in their extracted format will screw up the beatmap in some way.


Do the collections come over too or is that in another directory?

You can copy the songs directory from one PC to the other.
The collections are located in the collections.db file.
But idk, why don't you just copy the entire osu! folder over? It's easier, it works just as well and you're not at risk of losing something.

1. Copy the song folder
2. Paste it somewhere
3. Zip it
4. Upload to mediafire or something
5. Download from other PC
6. ???
7. Profit?

You might want to copy the collection.db and the scores.db files as well. Or as Endaris said, just copy the entire osu! folder over to the other PC. Worked fine for me.
