Call this a bad reason/habit, but the exaggerated vocal is what brings me to map this in a sort of finisher-heavy "TnT-authentic" way. Along with that, I like it this way to differentiate the two kinds of vocals.- From 02:08:197 to 02:18:983 - as this section is relatively calmer compared to the rest of the song, you may shorten the length of 1/4 (actually 1/2) patterns. This would also fit the note density of the same section in Muzukashii well by doing so. 02:10:051 (140) - 02:12:747 (152) - 02:14:433 (160) - 02:15:444 (165) and 02:17:129 (173) - could be deleted to achieve such a purpose.
While your suggestion is nice, I didn't want this part of the song to be too boring. The patterns you suggest almost get simpler than the part with only k notes, and I don't think they're of the same intensity. With longer patterns, I can improvise in a way that, in my opinion, fits the cadence of the song.- 02:51:680 (147,148,149) - similar to 01:22:691 (51,52,53,54,55,56,57,58,59,60) - , finish could be removed.
Same as before!- 03:11:736 (152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159,160,161,162,163,164,165,166) - this one is optional. You may consider slightly simplifying this 1/8 (actually 1/4) pattern as the background instruments are far less intense than that.
I like the idea of "final chorus leads into quiet" being a bit dramatic in its transition. I didn't want make the stream too complex for reasons like the ones you described, and I think that's enough.- From 03:25:050 to 03:29:432 - the finish spam here is quite awkward and does not merge well with the upcoming session due to over-emphasis. What you did in Muzukashii is about right, so I would suggest a pattern reform like this to reduce the use of big notes: (cursor at 03:27:073 - while captured odds are big notes except 40-46 being DkD KdK d)
Again, "blah im inspired by authentic practice" might sound iffy, but using finishers this way to provide a very distinct variety in the structure of the notes (instead of some simple patterns or something) also allows me to give it much more emphasis to a rather convivial-sounding part of the song that I'd find unsatisfying to see mapped "normally".
