hey you requested a mod

  • the hitsounds are pretty unfitting especially for a metal song, if you compare the hitsounds on goldenwolf's map to yours it's a night-and-day comparison, i'd honestly recommend getting some custom hitsounds so the snares are actually snares and not just claps since that's the main issue i have with them rn

    on top of this, using goldenwolf's map as an example, your offset's wrong as well; it should be -74. this is mainly noticeable during the kiais where 01:19:061 (1) - this isn't a downbeat despite literally being the start of the kiai. you'll have to resnap some notes and kiai times, as well as the last few timing points (they're off by 1 ms, so it doesn't really matter anyways) but everything else should be okay
  1. 00:01:223 (1) - silence spinner, nothing lands on it so really pointless to have it so loud rn
  2. 00:05:926 (4,5) - these notes have noticeably more emphasis on them in the song but have practically the same spacing as 00:05:602 (2,3) - these two, space them out a bit more
  3. 00:06:250 (6) - nc for the sv change, it's not entirely necessary tbh but it's just good standard to have so people aren't caught off guard from sv changes
    00:32:683 (3) - this goes for stuff like this too and 00:51:493 (3) - yada yada you get the point
  4. 00:08:520 (4,5) - having a linear pattern here sorta ruins the emphasis these notes have, goes back to the other pattern like this where there wasn't much emphasis

i'm actually kind of surprised, this is a really well-made map all things considering for a relatively new mapper, keep it up

Note that these 01:21:331 (7) - 01:31:710 (5) - 02:49:547 (5) - 02:59:926 (5) - 04:09:980 (7) - 04:20:358 (6) - should be 1/6 repeat sliders
02:07:223 (4) - These feel a bit awkward because of the snare being on the sliderend, it has more impact than the kick yet it's played passively
02:25:547 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - You don't need to spam NC for 1/3s especially considering you haven't done that for others

03:19:061 (4,5,6,7,8,9,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Just making sure you know these are 1/3s in the song, 3 notes per beat. It doesn't play or feel bad though since you do tap 3 times per beat aswell, except for 03:19:710 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - this is more awkward because you're tapping more notes than the song provides and it doesn't really fit either since it's the same musical pattern yet it's a spaced stream instead of triples.

03:32:196 (4) - here the guitar plays a note on the blue tick yet it's ignored in favor of the drums, but since you have mainly been following the guitar in the solo (as you should >:( ) so this feels awkward. Skipping the snare would be too, but you can skip the kick on the red tick no problem. That said, considering what you did 03:37:223 (2,3) - here you could just skip the snare aswell.

03:48:088 (5) - Because of the crash + guitar starting a new phrase you should emphasis this bit more, either using a streamjump + NCing or anything you can come up with, else it's currently a bit underwhelming

03:50:683 (1,2,3) - this feels strangely down in intensity compared to the pattern just before yet the song keeps building up, you don't have to hit the brakes here just because there are two 1/6 reverse sliders after

Haven't mentionned this yet but 03:56:520 (1,2) - if you do overmap triples, make sure to hitsound them properly so it doesn't feel like you're clicking to nothing (also as fiery said get some custom hitsounds as the default ones are very lackluster, that said the hitsounding itself isn't bad)
