Given that the normal is the easiest diff in the set I think a number of changes could be made to make it easier and more beginner friendly

For the intro I think a rhythm such as this would be more appropriate https://i.imgur.com/AVA0fpF.png The rhythm is less dense and would portray the contrast between the calm intro and the heavy,intense part after. Te reduced density makes it easier to ease into and to be quite honest I didn't think your current rhythm matched the song at all.

00:18:993 (1,1) & 00:31:196 (1,2) & 00:56:365 (1,2) - I would try to avoid any use of stacks at all in the lowest difficulty as it can prove fairly difficult for beginners to read as it obscures their view of the approach circle.

00:19:755 (1,2) - For slider pairs such as these I would recommend restructuring in a way similar to this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/9237651 . Patterns are easiest to read when the slidertail to sliderhead isn't obstructed so they can see all of the arrows and having a better view at where the object will be on the timeline because of time distance

00:22:806 (1,2,3) - This isn't 100% necessary but I thought a 3/1 reverse slider would have fit your current rhythm choice better

00:34:501 (4) - I thought it was a bit weird that you mapped this as a 1/1 slider instead of a circle despite there being no vocal sound on the tail; but you have 00:37:552 (4) as a circle when if you mapped it as a slider there would be a vocal on the tail. tl;dr turn 00:34:501 (4) into a circle and 00:37:551 (4) - into a slider. It would also make your rhythm more harmonious as it would make each combo 00:31:959 (1,1) consistent with themselves

00:41:238 (1,1) - I personally would deem this unrankable as I don't believe there is enough recovery time after the spinner for the lowest difficulty. The approach rate 00:43:653 (1) - starts well before the spinner finishes and doesnt give players enough reaction time

00:46:450 (2) - suggestion, a circle would suit here better imho. Since the music pauses here I think it'd be more fitting if the objects stopped here too. It would create more of a contrast between when the instruments stop and start playing.

01:21:534 (8,9) - suggest to delete 9 and turn 8 into a circle for similar reasons above

01:22:297 (1,2,3) - since the sounds on 1 are very similar to 2 and 3 I would personally just map it as 2 reverse sliders.

01:10:857 (4) - to 01:23:568 (3) - I get that this is the climax of the song but all objects have a 1/1 gap within each other. Consider adding some breaks here and there

  1. 00:03:738 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - this rhythm doesn't even match what the guitars are doing. a rhythm sense like what you did with 00:00:688 (1,2,3,4,5) - would make much more sense I actually find the rhythm for the first few notes to be less fitting, the only reason I simplified it is to get some build-up in intensity since the song gets much more intense at 00:03:738 (1) - . 00:00:688 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - has some rather important sounds in sliderrepeats/ends but that's necessary to keep a somewhat regular rhythm. (The sliderstart of 00:01:069 (2) - for example is less intense than both ticks after (though the note on the red tick starts really early which is partially why I went with this rhythm over adding another repeat to 00:00:688 (1) - , since I found it more fitting and less confusing overall)). 00:01:450 (3) - also has a less important sound on the start than the end. After 00:03:078 this no longer occurs, all the important sounds are clickable.
  2. 00:07:552 (3,4,5) - 00:09:077 (3,4,5) - 00:10:603 (3,4,5) - honestly i feel these should be more consistent. they're the same sounds, so having the middle pattern be represented with small spacing but the other two with high spacing feels really off. especially when later on at 00:13:654 (3,4,5) - 00:15:179 (3,4,5) - 00:16:704 (3,4,5) - these are all consistent It's intentional since the middle pattern sounds different, a bit muffled to me which is why I went with lower spacing for it. Regarding it being consistent later it's because the rhythm I mapped switched to the background (guitar?) which becomes much more notable at 00:12:891 (1) - .
  3. 00:36:281 (6,1) - this is really awkward movement that doesn't really play that well. the pattern you made is moving in a clockwise direction, and then (6,1) is the only movement here that's counter-clockwise I don't think it's that awkward and I already tried to make it flow a bit more smoothly by making the slider not as curved, now rotated it a bit so that the transition should be completely painless.
  4. 00:44:035 (4,5) - why is this stacked? it breaks the momentum you have going here really suddenly when your patterning suggests that momentum is going to be kept It was supposed to emphasize the different sound on 00:44:162 (5) - but I suppose it does go against the previous use of stacks (for unimportant sounds), changed it to be the same spacing but angled a bit which should fix it.
  5. 00:49:501 (4,5,6) - 00:52:552 (4,5,6) - this rhythm sense is terrible. what are you following here? it sure as hell isn't the instrumentals, vocals or drums. too much blending like this makes your rhythm sense sound incoherent It's the vocals while filling with drums to avoid breaks and super long sliders. I originally had a circle with following 1/1 gap for 00:49:881 (5) - and the other drum sliders, but it was deemed to confusing with the spacing I used, which I didn't want to majorly change for reasons of emphasis.
  6. 00:55:603 (4,5,6) - ^read the above, although here it's not as bad since it sort of follows vocals more smoothly same thing minus the slider part
  7. 00:57:636 (6) - a 1/4 repeat honestly doesn't fit here; there's no sound on the blue tick There most certainly is, I find it audible at full speed but it gets really obvious if you listen to it at 25%.

  9. 01:23:569 (8) - repeat slider doesn't really fit here either; there's no sound on the red tick At the very least the guitar pitch changes which is why I want to keep it as it is regardless, but I think there's also a faint distinct sound on the red tick itself (not really audible at full speed though). Out of a 1/1 slider and a 1/2 repeat slider, I find the 1/2 repeat slider more fitting since it reflects the pitch change in some way.

  5. 01:03:992 (1,2,3,4) - why is the rhythm here so radically different from the rest of the section?Collab, we have different rhythm approach to the song,
    Kal is more focused on instrumentals when he maps, I'm more focused on vocals. this doesn't even represent the instrumentals all that well. it feels like a really dumbed down drum section, and this feels out of place with the same section right before it, which wasn't this dumbed down. i don't mind different rhythm approaches between collabers, but i do think that rhythm switches need to make sense. you're switching in the middle of the phrase here, and it throws off the overall impact of what you sounds you want to emphasize here with the mapping.

  2. 00:31:959 (1,3) - 00:33:484 (1,3) - 00:40:348 (4,6) - these are really dangerous reading hazards because you can't make out half of the slider's path due to the high AR and bpm.

  3. 00:41:492 (3,5,7,9) - 00:43:018 (3,5,7) - i honestly don't mind filler rhythm, but i think this is overdoing it. i don't think your current pattern/rhythm setup represents the song that well hereit does, you just need to stop thinking of 1/2 circle only section related to jumps and you can understand why it's linear stream motion in 1/2 to represent alternating guitar pitch continuous sound my issue here is that there's too much blending between the different sounds that it sounds really unclear what you want to emphasize in the music here. personally i also think that a stream doesn't properly emphasize the guitars anyways; guitars place an emphasis on every white tick, but by making it a stream you're putting equal emphasis on the white ticks and red ticks, which end up de-emphasizing the guitars. i honestly don't think this pattern doesn't work, and a remap of this part is necessary. btw, i never once stated that this section needed to be jumps or that 1/2 circle spam sections need to be jumps, so that's a very dangerous assumption you're making.
  4. 00:47:213 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - what the hell are the whistles following here? it's so incoherent compared to 00:50:264 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - It's following vocals, and the vocals in this part are incoherent in each phrase, you need to stop thinking every song follows clear patterns and phrases and listen to the song here if you really want to understand it. if you were following vocals, it's pretty clear that each vocal is on the white tick, but you put the whistle on the slider end here 00:47:975 (5) - which falls on a red tick. everything else was okay, so i should've clarified what i meant by this, that's my bad
and these are only some of the issues that i have with the mapset, without going into more subjective territory like aesthetics or movement patterns/flow.

there are also some very bad rhythm choices in LwL's Insane, where i mentioned that the guitar introduction of the map does not in any way match the actual rhythm of the guitar in the song. that can't really be fixed unless that entire section was remapped, which is why i thought the bubble pop was necessary.

i also never explicitly stated that i wouldn't recheck it, but as things currently stand due to our differing ideologies, it isn't in my best interest to recheck at this map if we just end up disagreeing with each other. hopefully this clears some things up. there are always more bns you could ask for opinions and feedback as well, and who knows, maybe one of them will disagree with me and rebubble your map, so don't feel too discouraged!

Was probably caused by that weird 1ms shift, I just checked and it's a 1/2 gap. It also made the first slider 1/4 repeat instead of 1/2 repeat so yeah.

Actually nvm I'm retarded, though I'm still assuming it was caused by that, but it didn't fix itself. Also the 1ms shift was back when I opened the map again.

Ok apparently even the first slider was 1/4 again because the sv change didn't carry through blame the editor

  1. 00:56:365 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this looks really cluttered, i can't really recommend placing them all so close like that. i get that the slider ends are all stacked with each other, but this pattern looks so out of place with the rest of the mapThis is the key point of the song in this kiai, the place where it should stand out the most, and if you see Kegare diff you will that this is my interpretation of this part in the song as the most emphatic one, that's the pattern here is so special, personally it might clusttered to you, but as you said, "honestly i think this comes down to visual preference more than anything. i don't see anything wrong with the current design." i'd really appreciate it if you didn't twist my words out of context. the context for that was that it was still visually cohesive with the rest of the map so it didn't really matter if i changed the visuals or not, whereas this isn't visually cohesive. it looks really out of place due to how contrasting it is with the rest of the section here.I didn't twist, the context is the same with the slider you placed on your easy diff on Yumero Compass, you had one slider that had no relation to any other in the entire diff, but didn't change it and I wasn't the only one to point it out, but that considered minor issue and not something major to stop your map from getting ranked. Again, this part IS supposed to stand out a lot,

    Kal is more focused on instrumentals when he maps, I'm more focused on vocals. this doesn't even represent the instrumentals all that well. it feels like a really dumbed down drum section, and this feels out of place with the same section right before it, which wasn't this dumbed down. i don't mind different rhythm approaches between collabers, but i do think that rhythm switches need to make sense. you're switching in the middle of the phrase here, and it throws off the overall impact of what you sounds you want to emphasize here with the mapping.

IF THAT is your point I can see it being somewhat valid concern regarding the composition of different musical sections in accordance to the song. I'll make the last kiai more dense rhythmcally, I removed all the 1/1 reverse arrowed sliders 01:12:382 (4,4,4,4) - and placed a circle in a 1/1 gap for the snare with an uncorfortable moviment to make sure that even if the gap is not as dense, the difficulty is a present element to ensure that the players are on kiai, strong section, I discussed with Kalindraz and he accepted it. Like, in case you didn't play the map or paid attention to the hitsounding, it's a map focused on vocals... this was just me being genuinely curious, i didn't mean it in a bad way. it just struck me as odd bwecause you alternated between drum emphasis and vocal emphasis for this section, which i thought was weird cause it seemed like you really wanted to emphasize vocalsYeah indeed there's a contrast between the regular GUMI vocaloid voice and Utsu-P distortion vocals, that's something that I'm working with a concept of clean/unpolished slider visuals contrast. It's pretty straightfoward; all bigger sliders when regular GUMI is singing are simple, clean and curved 00:32:339 (3,3,3,1,2) - /00:47:213 (1) - /00:46:450 (1) - while the distortion lines are all unpolished visually/more straight line oriented; 00:19:755 (1,2) - /00:22:805 (1,1,1) - but there's a logic for those sliders, mostly overlapping/blanket designs so that they're not just "random"
  2. 00:31:959 (1,3) - 00:33:484 (1,3) - 00:40:348 (4,6) - these are really dangerous reading hazards because you can't make out half of the slider's path due to the high AR and bpm.

  3. 00:41:492 (3,5,7,9) - 00:43:018 (3,5,7) - i honestly don't mind filler rhythm, but i think this is overdoing it. i don't think your current pattern/rhythm setup represents the song that well hereit does, you just need to stop thinking of 1/2 circle only section related to jumps and you can understand why it's linear stream motion in 1/2 to represent alternating guitar pitch continuous sound my issue here is that there's too much blending between the different sounds that it sounds really unclear what you want to emphasize in the music here.personally i also think that a stream doesn't properly emphasize the guitars anyways; guitars place an emphasis on every white tick, but by making it a stream you're putting equal emphasis on the white ticks and red ticks, which end up de-emphasizing the guitars. i honestly don't think this pattern doesn't work, and a remap of this part is necessary. btw, i never once stated that this section needed to be jumps or that 1/2 circle spam sections need to be jumps, so that's a very dangerous assumption you're making. I'm not emphasizing anything that's inside the long linear singletap pattern, because it doesn't seems like inside this particular section; 00:41:365 - ~ 00:42:254 - / 00:42:890 - ~ 00:43:526 - makes any sense. Song is repeating a guitar phrase there in a 1/2 rhythm, so the EMPHASIS are preciselly on the point of the song that NEW stuff is presented, as you can see 00:42:255 (9,10,1) - have a different spacing and patterning because there's a strong vocal line here 00:42:255 (9,10) - and there's a cymbal crash here 00:42:382 (10,1) - , the same emphasis was added here 00:43:526 (7,1) - for the strong vocals yet again, and if you want to know why I picked the linear singletap pattern is because I'm copying another mapper, to make sure things are clear about it I'll even post the map and the part I'm copying; https://osu.ppy.sh/b/96763

    The reason is pretty simple, this pattern works in way to MAP denser rhythms in higher bpm songs, without making them difficult in a aim aspect (this aim aspect I'm saving up for the strong kiai section). It usually works well when there are multiple repetitive sounds, in the case of Koukou no Sousei, fast paced vocal lines; 01:18:782 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - in opposition to not as fast but emphasized sounds, such as the vocal lines 01:19:657 (1,2,1,2) - . In the case of my map, I used the circle linear straightline to handle the repetitive guitar 00:41:365 (2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - /00:42:891 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - , making it contrast with the vocal/cymbals 00:42:255 (9,10,1) - /00:43:653 (1,2,3) - . So yeah, it's representative of the song, even tho it doesn't add the requirements of the modern "emphasis" approach that everything is spaced out, after all, I were to make all the white ticks contrast with the red ticks, it could be done by stacking them in "doubles" or making them spaced both I dislike a lot since they're more difficult them this section calls it to be.
  4. 00:47:213 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - what the hell are the whistles following here? it's so incoherent compared to 00:50:264 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - It's following vocals, and the vocals in this part are incoherent in each phrase, you need to stop thinking every song follows clear patterns and phrases and listen to the song here if you really want to understand it. if you were following vocals, it's pretty clear that each vocal is on the white tick, but you put the whistle on the slider end here 00:47:975 (5) - which falls on a red tick. everything else was okay, so i should've clarified what i meant by this, that's my badI received 24 mods before you show up, and everyone was really polarized as if the whistle there should be on the white tick/red tick, I've said it before but there's two vocal lines in each of them and I agree with you that the whistle should be on the clickable object there, so consider it fixed
and these are only some of the issues that i have with the mapset, without going into more subjective territory like aesthetics or movement patterns/flow.
So in the end, you're saying "some of the issues" but I'm replying to all the issues you're poiting out, so there shouldn't be any hidden intentions here, but I guess you're not confortable saying it out loud "The concept of Kegare as a reading diff, that uses overlaps, is not good! I don't like it." which I asnwer, we do not have a say in each others ideas and concepts used while mapping, because as long as they're rankable concepts (unlike 2B, 2 circles at the same offset to force double click, and aspire overall stuff) mappers are free to be creative and pick whatever designs they're most confortable and enjoy more, otherwise if that's the mindset we are back at 2012 where multiple SV changes in a small amount of time were considered garbage and not a valid concept, we're back at 2014 when sliders with multiple red anchors to stop cursor moviment similar to what val0108 did and what Mir is currently using in his maps are unrankable, when Notch Hell is just trash, etc, etc, etc. I don't think you like it, trust me, whenever I mod recent maps, that's how I feel too whenever I see what's in the ranked category now as the regular mapping. But I've come to a personal understanding of how to deal with this different mapping of you guys, even tho I don't like, and I can see the objective stuff that SHOULD be evaluated inside the concepts that you adopted to use.

there are also some very bad rhythm choices in LwL's Insane, where i mentioned that the guitar introduction of the map does not in any way match the actual rhythm of the guitar in the song. that can't really be fixed unless that entire section was remapped, which is why i thought the bubble pop was necessary. LwL replied to your mod. I'll just say that I agree with Doormat only in this section; 00:00:688 - ~ 00:03:611 - as a problematic rhythm, even tho I agree with LwL idea of making them contrast, such as I did in my own top diff. I feel like rhythm change isn't the best pick from switching from a white tick simplification to a more close to the guitar rhythm afterwards. However that's only 3 seconds of map, not the entire diff, so a veto for a single diff, because of 3 seconds, is kinda extreme when the mapper can clearly change it :/

i also never explicitly stated that i wouldn't recheck it, but as things currently stand due to our differing ideologies, it isn't in my best interest to recheck at this map if we just end up disagreeing with each other. hopefully this clears some things up. there are always more bns you could ask for opinions and feedback as well, and who knows, maybe one of them will disagree with me and rebubble your map, so don't feel too discouraged!Hopefully this reply can make you understand more of why I don't agree with you ^^, sadly tho you're not willing to rank the map, which I'm fine with it. Valeu demais galera pela ajuda e apoio, eu realmente agradeço demais por vocês apoiarem o mapa, mesmo eu sabendo que não é bem o mapping preferido de vocês. Se não fosse por vocês darem tanta ajuda eu acredito que teria desistido, desde já muito obrigado a todo mundo que moddou, testou, checou os hitsounds e fez de tudo pra que esse mapa ficasse o melhor possível, tanto os mappers como os players. Graças a vocês acreditarem nesse projeto, eu vou até o FIM pra rankear isso!!!

não gostei desse hitnormal do sc:10. também não achei uma boa ideia trocar de hitnormal em 00:03:738 - eu acho que ficaria mais natural usar esse sc:11 no começo também. Faz todo sentido tanto o soft que estou usando como a transição do 00:03:738 - já que a guitarra mudou o fraseamento da guitarra para outro pitch e junto com ela o meu hitsound acompanhou.

  1. 00:12:128 (5) - esse slider deveria terminar em 1/4 também pra ficar consistente com os proximos sliders. Discordo completamente, os 1/4 só foram utilizados aqui pra mapear o low pitch da guitarra, todo o restante está no regular 1/2.
  2. 00:13:654 (5) - não devia estar posicionado da mesma forma que os sliders terminando em 1/4. você não fez isso em 00:07:552 (5,6,7) - 00:10:604 (5,6,7) - 00:16:705 (5,6,7) - Sim eu coloquei pra dar variedade no patterning e não ser muito repetitivo.

em algum momento do mod eu perdi a vontade de procurar erros menos óbvios nos hitsounds, mas é por causa da musica provavelmente (podemos tentar ver os hitsounds outro dia em um ircmod talvez). o map está legal e espero que meu mod ajude a melhorar um pouco.

like others, i don't really like the amount of additive 1/2 stuff. i get that you're trying to maintain the pacing of the music, but sometimes the improvised stuff is actually harder than the intense vocals so the map seems out of balance in that regard. for example:
00:49:755 (6,7,8,9) -
00:36:281 (6,7,1) - (which creates a really uncomfortable movement that isnt really used anywhere else)
00:39:077 (5,6,7) - where it interrupts the structure of the song that is based on paired 1/1 vocals - . i think just 1/1 sliders here still fits a lot better.
00:54:840 (1,2) - not rly additive but 1/1 here would emphasize the start of a new phrase better since it would stick out

00:47:975 (5,6,7,8) - sounds much better as all sliders, like 00:50:264 (1,2,3,4) -

Second, your rhythms suggestion ignore the primordial aspect of the rhythm adopted here, which is sliders for vocals and circle for the other stuff, like you suggestion here 00:39:077 (5,6,7,1) - why in the name of god would I use a 1/2 slider here 00:39:331 (6,7) - if THIS IS A SNARE DRUM BEAT AND NOT A VOCAL LINE...... yea. i think it still needs work... I don't agree, most things mentioned are just personal preference on HOW it should be mapped rather than issues; stuff like oh this is better with 1/2 sliders when I'm clearlly using sliders for one thing and circles for another is just ignoring the concept of the map and saying "yo you should map like this!". "This is not 2012" when other famous mappers CAN do stuff like that is also treating the same thing in two different manners, etc. Really appreciate the mod tho, thanks for accepting the request I know it was hard to mod this x.x
And to be quite honest with everyone, I'm tired of explaining the same stuff over and over and over again and ppl simply ignore my points and replies to force mods with personal choices of how this was supposed to be mapped. I don't see ppl asking why other mappers out there didn't map with x/y choice instead of z, they just accept sliders the size of a screen to represent a single vocal line, they accept 1/2 spam of jumps, but they can't accept my map for a reason beyond my capicity of understanding. This map has clear references, clear structure, a logic rhythm choice and a very interesting musical representation. So, either me and everyone that worked with this mapset is crazy (like at least 5 mappers already double checked the map for me, all of them with ranked maps and known maoppers) or everyone modding this mapset so far just decided that that this map shouldn't get ranked because it doesn't meet their personal "quality" standards.

a lot of the patterns also look needlessly messy imo. for example 00:37:805 (5,1,2,3,4) - this entire construct has varying visual spacing which makes it look disorganized. even if each specific object has a reason to be in its location, overall the pattern doesn't look cohesive.
other examples:

The guideline for a normal is a 2/1 gap, 4/1 is for an easy. The timing gap here is similar to a 3/1 gap at 180 bpm, and it's a guideline rather than a hard rule so I'd say it should be fine.

1 second is enough time, even if this is the lowest diff and I can list ranked examples to support it (this time I won't even mention old maps, just recent ones);
