Lovely use of skin.
Nice lil piano oriented song aswell.

Lets mod!

This is to hard for me Q_Q
I really do not have much to say about this one.
I agree to almost all of your choises as to when you decide to go for a slider use versus single taps.
I agree with your usage of swapping between vocals and instruments.
I agree with your usage of distance and flow.

So i'll try to find something, but i think this map needs someone more experienced than I to truly help you :)

What i did notice during the verses however, is that some of your sections feels a bit dragged out, this is feedback as a player not a mod.
An example would be the second verse after the first Kiai.
This one would be hard to explain. But it felt as if i was doing the same thing for to long.
And since i already did something very similar in the first verse, i grew impatient here.
I think what i felt lacking was a stronger connection to the vocals? You pay great tribute to the drums and piano, but felt somehow that the vocals was distant in the mapping at the second verse and thus i started to lose focus.
But that's just my own very personal and odd opinion/feel.

03:05:507 -
You have a drum sound there that should get some attention.
Perhaps make the repeat slider start there and end on 03:06:099 - ?
It's tricky since you have a rather rapid drum sound going on all the way till... 03:06:692 -
If this part is ment to represent the drums, i think a full on stream/repeat slider should cover this entier part and end just before 03:06:692 (1) -

Once i went back to double check, i saw that 01:08:798 (4,5,6) -
^ This general area is very simlar as to what i wrote about at 03:05:507 -
Feels a bit undermapped compared to the drums.

Other than that...I dont have much to say.
I could start to go into deeper detail on overlapping at certain points or some ''sudden'' distance change that was a bit on the overkill side.
But during my play test and my views in editor. I can honestly say that i lack the experience to give this map a better feedback than this.
Mainly since it looks really good atm and i would have mapped it in similar ways myself.

So yh, sorry for not being able to help you more.
It's a lovely little map and i hope you find a modder who can give you more help if you so desire it.

No need to Kudoso this at all since i could not provide much usefull feedback.

Best of luck to your map and have a good day :)
Keep up the good work <3

Cheers

Hello mod from my queue~
Our Song
  1. Gonna be pretty nazi since this looks pretty clean
  2. 00:53:074 (4,5,1) - fix stack? Same at 00:55:442 (3,4,5) - (like, DS aside, they look off, and looking closer, the latter ones are one unit larger in both of them)
  3. 01:08:666 - there's actually sound already at here (kinda like ghost note) and you could map it if you want. Similarly, the 1/6 goes on until 01:09:455 - although getting fairly quiet
  4. 01:31:758 (7,8,1) - allright so that same slight stack thingy here. Lemme explain more in-depth so you can apply it in times of need later on. 01:31:758 (7) - is at x:253 y:269. 01:31:857 (8) - is at x:256 y:272 which is +3 in both x and y. Thus the last one should be at x:259 y:275 but it's at x:260 y:276 instead, thus the "one unit larger". It's very little thing I guess, but since it's visible enough to catch atleast my eyes you could fix it. (that being said there are probably ones with the same problem that look completely fine due different angles, but imo then they are fine if they look fine. It's not like these one pixel thingies affect gameplay anyways.)
  5. 01:34:587 (5) - should begin one 1/6 later, the sounds aside, that's where the music is emphasising in a way that fits for the change in object.
  6. 02:06:741 - what's this timing point doing here? It doesn't have any objects timed to it and it's wrongly timed anyways. Like, you even fix it few beats later at 02:09:850 - so why not just move this to 02:06:693 - instead so it's properly on time. Thus the timing point at 02:09:850 - is unnecessary
  7. 02:23:665 (3,4,5) - this seems to be like the stacks before. Since like almost every stack I've actually looked at is like this, is this intentional or smth? I won't be spamming them here anymore, just check them yourself for this, since I presume there are like a lot of these.
  8. 03:05:639 (4,5,6) - same thing as earlier with the 1/6 if ya wanna do it like that. Would be better build-up to the kiai tbh, since currently it feels little hollow with the lack of the rhythms that feel like are there.
  9. 03:31:428 (5) - same thing as earlier here too. Like, tbh this isn't that terrible either since the change in the sound is pretty clear, but still structurally it doesn't feel logical compared to what it would be having the latter one begin at the red tick for the last 3 sounds.
  10. 04:40:639 (3) - nice
  11. 04:43:797 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - this should be 1/6 isntead (that bass drum burst currently at 04:44:389 (3,4) - though due hitsounded 1/8 colliding with the 1/6 lmao)
  12. 05:09:323 (5) - you know this
  13. 05:52:946 - timing point too early. Same with 05:53:407 - Smth like 68 at 05:52:516 - instead and then smth like 64,5 at 05:52:957 - and finally smth like 53,05 at 05:53:422 - so it lines back at 05:53:987 - where it's accurate enough as is. Then going on, 05:55:961 (1) - is way too late, smth like 62,7 at 05:53:987 - instead so that 05:55:900 (1) - starts somewhere around 05:55:900 - then you need to tune the bpm of point at 05:55:900 - so it ends where it used to end, so use smth like 75,53 which leads to the current 06:00:401 -
Good luck!
Kyouren
