kancolle kantai collection remix (other diffs) I forgot it doesn't change for every diff, it has to be one at a time. Don't rush things, kids! Will do.

[Futsuu]

better change endless d d k patterns into other pattern. not changing beat Changed up a bit.

[Muzukasii]

HP 5 -> 7 (for maps less than 1min) I'll settle at 6.

[Oni]

SliderMultiplier:2.74399990653992 -> 1.4 (can change on .osu file) I messed something up here didn't I lol. Will do.

those 1/2 00:49:098 (90,93,96) - are confusing, try all this together:

- 00:49:741 (91) - move to 00:49:313 (91) -

when sv is increasing before the kiai part, I think those doubles in 1/2 are not necesary because you have this ones very close 00:37:312 (163,164,165,166,167) - so try this below:

No change, they're all mapped to vocals here.

I think is more enjoyable like that

Muzukashii

00:55:098 (177) - consider delete because there is no sound there There actually is a sound here if you listen closely, which is what this is mapped to.

Oni

00:31:206 (134) - move to 00:30:991 (133) - and change to d
- 00:31:741 (136) - you can change it to k if you changed the above Nah to both, doesn't really fit here.

- 00:39:563 (176) - move to 00:39:456 (176) - and change to k Makes more sense, changed.

  1. create a kantan?
  2. flip the bg horizontally if you want to see the girl's face on the menu
[futsuu]
ok, seems repetitive but it works :v
[Muzukashii]
  1. from here forward, you have no 2/1 breaks, making the patterns seem continuous and difficult. Please include one or so 2/1 breaks after this point to avoid having continuous patterns
  2. 00:29:063 (87) - I think this is an ascending pitch, please switch to k if possible
  3. 00:32:491 (97) - ^, same, imo having these as a d makes them too similar to the pattern 00:30:455 (91,92,93,94) - here, where it's descending
    if you agree keep fixing it 00:39:348 (116) - / 00:42:777 (128) - / 00:46:206 (140) - /
  4. 00:46:741 (142,143,144,145,146,147,148,149,150,151,152,153) - this is muzukashii, please don't use 4 triplets in a row even if they're the same color, especially if you used a much easier pattern over here 00:33:027 (99,100,101,102) -
    Please change to ddd d d ddd d d or d d ddd d d ddd
  5. 00:55:098 - consider removing this, it's unnecessary because there's just a trigger there
[Oni]
  1. 00:20:598 - imo this follows the instruments better because there's nothing 00:20:598 - here but there is something 00:20:920 - here, and it's consistent with your previous patterns
  2. 00:26:813 (109) - switch to k to keep consistent, same for 00:27:027 (110,111,112,113) - these?
[Skull Kid]
  1. 00:03:563 (17,18,19,20) - This seems like it should be dkdk based on the patterns you follow, but I can see why kkdk works because of the back/forth patterns...
  2. 00:13:741 (59,60,61,62) - similar, I think what you're following would call for kdkd
  3. 00:17:277 (84,85,86,87) - dkdk because it marks the k as the loud kicks consistently, and it's not blocking any back/forth patterns here
  4. 00:24:134 (133,134,135,136) - same here if you agree
  5. 00:26:063 (148,149,150) - this streams shifts its focus right around 00:26:063 (148,149,150) - here. It follows the melodic drums for 00:25:848 (146,147,148,149) - here, but then it continues, probably because of the click drums. Consider separating the stream so that both the kicky drums and the click drums have their own stream.
  6. 00:33:027 - / 00:34:313 - this is problematic because this section is significantly easier than the same section in Oni, even with the finishers. Consider swapping the rhythms, or nerfing the Oni in this section.
  7. 00:37:848 - / 00:41:170 - this is quite a difficulty spike from Oni. Also, the streams changes its focus 00:38:170 - here and 00:39:884 - here. Please nerf this, and possibly buff the oni section here.
  8. 00:46:420 - / 00:48:456 - again, a big spike from Oni, but also a spike from the previous occurrence of this pattern.
  9. 00:51:563 - same as 00:37:848 - there
best of luck o7

  1. create a kantan? When I tried it, it came out as garbage, honestly. LOL I might give it a shot again but ehh. I'll wait a bit till I have an idea on how to make it.
  2. flip the bg horizontally if you want to see the girl's face on the menu I plan on flipping the bg when I map ikazuchi_B lol
[futsuu]

[Muzukashii]
  1. from here forward, you have no 2/1 breaks, making the patterns seem continuous and difficult. Please include one or so 2/1 breaks after this point to avoid having continuous patterns It's a short low BPM song which really doesn't allow for any 2/1 breaks in it, mostly 1/1s. I'll see what I can do.
  2. 00:29:063 (87) - I think this is an ascending pitch, please switch to k if possible Yup, you're right, changed.
  3. 00:32:491 (97) - ^, same, imo having these as a d makes them too similar to the pattern 00:30:455 (91,92,93,94) - here, where it's descending

  5. 00:55:098 - consider removing this, it's unnecessary because there's just a trigger there
I wanted to originally keep it, but since it's such a minor change then why not. Applied on Muzu and on Oni.
[Oni]
  1. 00:20:598 - imo this follows the instruments better because there's nothing 00:20:598 - here but there is something 00:20:920 - here, and it's consistent with your previous patterns In this pattern my goal was to primarily follow the squeaks, and your change follows only the instruments instead of the squeaks, so I won't be changing it.
  2. 00:26:813 (109) - switch to k to keep consistent, same for 00:27:027 (110,111,112,113) - these? I switched the previous penta to follow the pitch better instead.
best of luck o7 Thanks!

ok ok I think I forgot to say call me back...
(recheck no kds)

[General]
your mapset can survive without a kantan, but I think it would make things better
if you'd like, I can make you a Kantan, but then I cannot nominate it, and I will ask you to find another BN...

[Futsuu]
00:13:741 (21,22,23) - spread confusion, this intro is in Futsuu but not Muzukashii or Oni, please remove it in Futsuu and perhaps add it in later difficulties

[Muzukashii]
00:25:313 - / 00:27:884 - Please reduce the difficulty here, it's quite a spike, and it's a jump from futsuu
00:45:884 - / 00:48:456 - same as above

make kantan and call me back if you can

  4. 00:28:313 - / 00:38:170 - what are you following in this section? It doesn't match well to either the melody, as represented better in the section afterward, or the deep bass noise, as represented in the section before
  5. 00:48:884 - / 00:53:598 - your kiai section is unbalanced, the second half is more dense than your first half, which consists of almost entirely 2/1 patterns
  6. I understand that you're placing more notes to emphasize sections, which is a great strategy in higher diffs
however, in a kantan you should place 2/1 ~ 4/1 breaks after the notes you want to emphasize, then you will have a Kantan that aligns with the Futsuu's difficulty
you're not doing bad though, keep trying and you'll get it quick
I hope I helped

It doesn't match well to either the melody, as represented better in the section afterward, or the deep bass noise, as represented in the section before moved the slider before this part 1/1 backwards and began following the melody like the following part.
  5. 00:48:884 - / 00:53:598 - your kiai section is unbalanced, the second half is more dense than your first half, which consists of almost entirely 2/1 patterns ok, kind of mirrored the kiai sections doing a 2/1 to 1/1 transition on both. Also deleted the 1/2 but kept 4 1/1 since it's kiai and has higher intensity
  6. I understand that you're placing more notes to emphasize sections, which is a great strategy in higher diffs

Hi, I am here to pop the bubble due to the issues below mainly:

[General]

! SV changes in Kantan and Futsuu can cause discomfort in reading the maps for those levels players. They are strongly discouraged to use unless there're sufficient reasons. I do not think this map worths any SV changes anyway.

[Marm's Kantan]

> 00:05:598 - compare with 00:07:313 - , the latter is worthy for a Finisher much more due to the presence of snare. Finishers can make the simple patterns less boring (1 key v.s. 2 keys hit).

> 00:14:170 - / 00:21:027 - Finisher as well if you adopt the change at 00:07:313 -

! 00:16:313 (17) - This note outstands from the overall balanced patterns. Expectedly it should be at 00:15:884 - . Kantan should have a very consistent pattern with easy snapping so players can play as they expect in a simple and easy way.

> 00:18:884 - same case as above

! 00:35:170 (19,20,21,22) - a very awkward 4 x 1/1 offbeat patterns used which is basically unnecessary. Just shifting all of them 1/1 backwards to fit the on-beats is fine.

[Futsuu]

! Patterns are too repetitive. Even in Futsuu, a simple variation aside from d d k could be done, such as d k k / k d k / k k k / d ddk / d kdk etc..

> 00:21:027 (35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43) - they could be 3 d k k or k d k due to the over all high pitch vocal comparing to 00:14:170 - . Simple variation can already enhance the overall playability by flavouring it.

> 00:29:598 (51) - for example, it can be k due to the high-pitch sound at the backgound music. Same could be applied at 00:33:027 -

> Fix the whole diff. by yourselves when you have come up to some idea

[Oni]

! Basically the same case of Futsuu, in Oni, such kind of few variations and a lot of copy and paste work is not really accepted. A lot of repeated k k k dk dk / k k k dk dkkk are used without any single variations. This should be enhanced.

> 00:27:884 - As a very strong start of new section, it is worthy for being an isolated Finisher to indicate the presence of snare and a clear put between two sections. The linked stream is pretty too long for Oni as well (when there's an Inner Oni).

> 00:33:991 - / 00:47:920 - it can be moved to 00:34:206 - to create a different feeling, while matching to the density of vocal part at 00:34:206 -

> 00:54:884 - the Finisher should be put at 00:55:313 - . nnnnN looks and plays weirdly, while 00:55:313 - is a strong finishing note.

> 00:43:313 - / 00:45:027 - / 00:50:170 - / 00:51:884 - there is no way to empty the dominant metronome esp.ly when there are melodies. Please fill them up and create some rests in other places instead of them.

Perhaps Muzukashii faces the same situation, please check all difficulties again by yourself.

! SV changes in Kantan and Futsuu can cause discomfort in reading the maps for those levels players. They are strongly discouraged to use unless there're sufficient reasons. I do not think this map worths any SV changes anyway. The SV changes were used as a buildup to the kiai,
which is the most intense part of the song and deserves some reinforcement, done via the slightly higher sv. The transition is very smooth so that new players won't have much difficulty reading the svs, and why I also think that they should be kept.

[Futsuu]

! Patterns are too repetitive. Even in Futsuu, a simple variation aside from d d k could be done, such as d k k / k d k / k k k / d ddk / d kdk etc.. Tried something to make the patterns somewhat less repetitive on certain spots.

> 00:21:027 (35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43) - they could be 3 d k k or k d k due to the over all high pitch vocal comparing to 00:14:170 - . Simple variation can already enhance the overall playability by flavouring it. Agreed, changed.

> 00:29:598 (51) - for example, it can be k due to the high-pitch sound at the backgound music. Same could be applied at 00:33:027 - Yup.

> Fix the whole diff. by yourselves when you have come up to some idea I did some remapping. Still somewhat repetitive, but that's the song's nature itself, however I allowed space for more variations.

[Oni]

! Basically the same case of Futsuu, in Oni, such kind of few variations and a lot of copy and paste work is not really accepted. A lot of repeated k k k dk dk / k k k dk dkkk are used without any single variations. This should be enhanced. Made a few changes here and there.

> 00:27:884 - As a very strong start of new section, it is worthy for being an isolated Finisher to indicate the presence of snare and a clear put between two sections. The linked stream is pretty too long for Oni as well (when there's an Inner Oni). Split to ddd kdkdk.

> 00:33:991 - / 00:47:920 - it can be moved to 00:34:206 - to create a different feeling, while matching to the density of vocal part at 00:34:206 - Done for both sections.

> 00:54:884 - the Finisher should be put at 00:55:313 - . nnnnN looks and plays weirdly, while 00:55:313 - is a strong finishing note. That was actually an accident, the finisher was meant to be at the latter. Whoops.

> 00:43:313 - / 00:45:027 - / 00:50:170 - / 00:51:884 - there is no way to empty the dominant metronome esp.ly when there are melodies. Please fill them up and create some rests in other places instead of them. Done.

Perhaps Muzukashii faces the same situation, please check all difficulties again by yourself. The deal about Muzukashii is that since I mostly tried to follow the vocals, there really isn't much room for variation on the patterns. I'm trying to change things up by following the background a bit more, but this could go either very right or very wrong, oh man.
Tried more general changes, let's hope this goes right. I was planning on getting this popped anyways. Thanks, Skylish!

On a side note, I still need Skull Kid to apply his mods.

Skylish
Yes, the SV changes look smooth naturally, but they are not supposed to be applied in easy difficulties (namely Kantan and Futsuu) since players are not expected to face any velocity changes. A regular and constant scrolling speed is the optimum setting for them.

Please remove them in easy difficulties, as a result.

Hello!
I'm from your M4M queue.
Kantan
00:02:598 (3) - move to 00:01:741 (2)? It feels better in gameplay.
00:04:313 (5) - ^

00:13:741 (14) - K, because of similarity to the next sound

00:33:456 (16,18) - delete? to improve readability
00:33:884 (16) - K to keep consistency with the previous part

Futsuu
00:21:027 (35) - D to make it different from the previous pattern

00:54:884 (102) - D to make it easier?
:D

Muzukashii
00:07:313 (18) - D because a new sound is introduced

00:26:813 (79) - delete it's too difficult

00:29:063 (87) - change to D to keep flow?

00:30:241 (92) - K so it matches other patterns
00:30:670 (94) - delete to shorten the pattern
00:30:884 (94) - move to 00:30:777 (94)

00:43:206 (132) - delete to reduce difficulty
00:43:527 (134) - D to keep consistency with the previous long pattern
00:43:741 (135,136) - K because there is a different sound
00:44:813 (140) - replace kkk with a single k, too difficult for muzu

Oni
00:14:598 (52) - D so it's like the first pattern on the map

00:26:491 (109) - K because the difficult dkkdk pops out all of a sudden...
00:26:813 (111) - K to improve flow
00:27:777 (118) - delete, because a 1/4 pattern mustn't end with a big note

Inner Oni
Ending 1/4 patterns with big notes often doesn't feel natural. Please delete finishers from these.
Also, AiMod shows tags and preview time incompatibility with other diffs.

00:08:384 (46,59,72,57,70,83) - K for all patterns like that? It feels better to play.

00:27:455 (96) - K new sound, also makes the pattern's length more obvious.

00:35:813 (59) - K, same as before.
00:39:134 (85) - delete to seperate this into 2 easier streams
00:49:527 (160,174,187) - ^

00:54:670 (198) - K, there is a snare drum sound

That's all. Hope your mapset gets ranked, good luck! ;)

Inner Oni
Ending 1/4 patterns with big notes often doesn't feel natural. Please delete finishers from these. Most of my rhythms aren't fully conventional anyway, so I'm fine with having them as they are already owo

Also, AiMod shows tags and preview time incompatibility with other diffs. I'll tell Idealism to fix that c:

00:08:384 (46,59,72,57,70,83) - K for all patterns like that? It feels better to play. 00:15:241 (8) - it would force me to do it on places like this too due to how my rhythm is structured, and I don't feel like it sounds very good :c

00:27:455 (96) - K new sound, also makes the pattern's length more obvious. agree, switched color on 00:27:455 (96,97,98,99,1) -

00:35:813 (59) - K, same as before. still disagree xd
00:39:134 (85) - delete to seperate this into 2 easier streams it's there because of the background noise getting stronger - it goes in 1/4 for that entire stream, and when 00:39:884 - comes along, the main rhythm is stronger again, thus I "ignore" that background noise
00:49:527 (160,174,187) - ^ still not an issue c:, if it's consistently done throughout the whole map it's most likely a thing I want to do

00:54:670 (198) - K, there is a snare drum sound It's barely noticeable, sounds very similar to the others dons

That's all. Hope your mapset gets ranked, good luck! ;)
Thank you for mod >//< <3

00:02:598 (3) - move to 00:01:741 (2)? It feels better in gameplay. I think you gave the wrong timing points, there's notes in both of them.
00:04:313 (5) - ^ same answer as above.

00:13:741 (14) - K, because of similarity to the next sound seems fair, changed.

00:33:456 (16,18) - delete? to improve readability no here. 1/1 notes are still easy to read even on kantan. Removing would make this part less emphatic which I don't want.
00:33:884 (16) - K to keep consistency with the previous part This is the first part where the song plays this. Also it's contradicting with the previous suggestion (?).

Futsuu
00:21:027 (35) - D to make it different from the previous pattern sure.

00:54:884 (102) - D to make it easier? nah, doesn't go with the squeal.
:D

Muzukashii
00:07:313 (18) - D because a new sound is introduced very high pitched sound though, so i'm keeping it as a k.

00:26:813 (79) - delete it's too difficult it's a muzu, so it's fine, plus would break consistency with patterns such as 00:24:242 (69,70) -

00:29:063 (87) - change to D to keep flow? sure.

00:30:241 (92) - K so it matches other patterns the song doesn't justify the use of a k here, since it's very low.
00:30:670 (94) - delete to shorten the pattern keeping it to follow through the entire sound
00:30:884 (94) - move to 00:30:777 (94) not changing because of the above

00:43:206 (132) - delete to reduce difficulty would break consistency with the previous similar pattern which was just mentioned, plus as i said earlier, it's a muzu, so it's fine
00:43:527 (134) - D to keep consistency with the previous long pattern above
00:43:741 (135,136) - K because there is a different sound following the "voice" here
00:44:813 (140) - replace kkk with a single k, too difficult for muzu also not too difficult for a muzu, since it allows for mono triples to be used. plus, the bpm is so low it's not too stamina draining.

Oni
00:14:598 (52) - D so it's like the first pattern on the map trying to go for pattern variety here

00:26:491 (109) - K because the difficult dkkdk pops out all of a sudden... keeping to follow the song better, plus its not really too difficult of a pattern for an oni since the bpm is low
00:26:813 (111) - K to improve flow ye
00:27:777 (118) - delete, because a 1/4 pattern mustn't end with a big note deleted the previous note instead

That's all. Hope your mapset gets ranked, good luck! ;) thanks! :D

marm's kantan
  1. Source metadata is inconsistent between other difficulties
  2. 00:15:027 (16,17,18,19,20) - why do you just change the rhythm that you used before to something a lot different? The song is the same so use the rhythm like this 00:07:313 (7,8,9,10,11,12) - there's no real reason to be inconsistent
  3. 00:18:884 (20) - maybe best to just delete this and just have the spinner, since you dont really use circles on this beat in this section.
  4. i think for the intro you are trying to represent the same rhythm in too many different ways, and well it would make sense if you switched depending on the kind of music like the high pitch, but this current way doesnt work well
  5. 00:35:170 (19,20,21) - why use the same patterns as before but just off beat?
futsuu seems good

muzukashii
  1. 00:10:528 (28,29) - i think you can use a triple here to help vary it from the part before since it is actually a clap triple, and adding it doesnt make it too hard
  2. 00:25:956 (74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84,85) - i think this pattern can work just as well deleting 00:26:813 (79) - cos its kinda long especially considering 00:27:456 (83,84) - isnt mapped as a 1 beat break.
  3. 00:30:455 (93,94,95,96,97) - this seems like really boring 1/2 spam, you should really map the 3/4 beat rhythm here like you do in other parts of the map, basically goes for any long string of 1/2 beat you have in the end of this, could be made a lot more interesting by adding some other rhythm cos it seems mapped to nothing in particular. (00:46:741 (149,150,151,152,153,154,155,156,157) - apart from this one)
oni
  1. 00:10:420 (37,38,39,40) - doesnt it make a lot more sense to put the dkkk pattern here instead of 00:08:706 (29,30,31,32) - cos then it matches the claps, i get its dkdk for the vocals but that also applies for 00:08:706 (29,30,31,32) - so switching the 2 makes a lot more sense than it is now
  2. 00:20:170 (77,78,79,80,81,82) - https://puu.sh/zyeCh/6df893a1d1.png rhythm suggestion to better emphasise the claps, not that you need to map the squeak noise as it isnt doing anything rhythmic emphasis in the current 1/4 pattern.
  3. 00:30:670 (130,131,132,133,134,135) - kkd ddk could work better
  4. 00:34:098 (149,150,151,152,153) - kkddk to have some better fitting variation?
  5. 00:38:384 (170) - the timing point here is at 00:38:386 meaning that this object is unaffected by it, you should snap the timing point
spork diff fine i guess even tho it looks like it was made in 30 min with copy paste abuse missing out on a lot of opportunity, i think it would go a long way to just add some variation to match the song, even tho the song is that way this map seems too repetitive.

I'm the type of guy that prefers sections that are the same/very similar mapping wise, when a song presents you with mostly similar sections. I rarely agree with concepts in maps that use completely different rhythms and color changes when the sounds are the same, 'cause to me it doesn't make the pattern/concept you use recognizable enough for that specific part c:

  2. 00:15:027 (16,17,18,19,20) - why do you just change the rhythm that you used before to something a lot different? The song is the same so use the rhythm like this 00:07:313 (7,8,9,10,11,12) - there's no real reason to be inconsistent not inconsistent, variation in focus and increase in intensity as it's now a 3 notes rhythm instead of 2. Copy and pasting a section in a song with 5~6 sections is boring.
  3. 00:18:884 (20) - maybe best to just delete this and just have the spinner, since you dont really use circles on this beat in this section.the intention was to fill the music at 00:19:098 - but 1/2 gap between note and spinner in kantan is a bit hard. Using the note at 00:18:884 - shouldn't be a problem since it's the end of this section and is being used as a transition with the spinner, which is strange to play with the long gap (I could delete later because of the 4/1 breaks though)
  4. i think for the intro you are trying to represent the same rhythm in too many different ways, and well it would make sense if you switched depending on the kind of music like the high pitch, but this current way doesnt work well

  2. 00:20:170 (77,78,79,80,81,82) - https://puu.sh/zyeCh/6df893a1d1.png rhythm suggestion to better emphasise the claps, not that you need to map the squeak noise as it isnt doing anything rhythmic emphasis in the current 1/4 pattern. i think the current pattern fits better, mostly with the vocal
  3. 00:30:670 (130,131,132,133,134,135) - kkd ddk could work better changed to kkd kdk instead
  4. 00:34:098 (149,150,151,152,153) - kkddk to have some better fitting variation? ye
  5. 00:38:384 (170) - the timing point here is at 00:38:386 meaning that this object is unaffected by it, you should snap the timing point i hate decimals
cute set yay
