    Anyway, I'm leaving the stream part as I want to keep the 8 beat pattern to provide interest. I don't really see the change as an issue.

Although this never occured to me while mapping, and the square stream was purely due to me just thinking it could be fun to play. I won't remap any of this. (also to not overwrite previous mods and since sebu wants this ranked like now)

01:41:747 (1,2,1) - Make these the same distance apart, because it plays like a triple, and having them spaced differently is a bit weird. Basically, just treat (2) as a circle and ignore the slidertail :arrow: I agree that this could be seen as a triple, but I seriously think the slider makes this one stand out as a circle and some strange appendix to the 1/2 slider. idk, I feel it plays better as is than spacing the 1/2 slider further out.

  3. 00:32:264 (1,2,3,4) - your map looks really nice visually talking, that's why I was wonder about the ugly curve for this stream 00:32:264 (1,2,3,4) - maybe you can improve it
  4. 00:35:540 (3) - add NC, so you can keep the pairs 00:35:023 (1,2,1,2) - in single combos.
  5. 01:09:850 (3,5) - stack them? idk it triggered me a lot

  3. 00:18:471 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - same, mapping every sound don't let you represent the song properly, doing sliders as you did before would bring emphasis to right beats at this section
  4. 00:23:643 (3) - mapping the slider tail at such important beat as the stanza don't fit the song, since that beat is the start of the new section section and it needs a click action
  5. 00:34:850 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - same issue, mapping the full stream kills the emphasis of the strong beats, maybe do something as the top diff do?

  3. 00:02:609 (1) - this slider is ending on a important stanza, it needs to be click'able, because it's the intro of the fast melody - I disagree in general that downbeats have to be on clickable beats, and having them on longer slider's sliderends still gives an impact to them (you're holding down until you release for the feedback). It's the same concept as 01:42:092 (2) - , which you didn't really point out.

Or I could make some other shape probably, but I figured I'd ask if you think just increasing the spacing and ignoring distance snap would be good enough here?
  8. 01:17:954 (1,1) - too soon after a spinner, tbh I recommend to delete the spinner and add some big slider there - There's a pretty big difference in feel of spinning a spinner (fairly active) and just following a slow sliderbody, and the vocals here are going pretty fast, so changing it to a slider doesn't really fit as well imo. And you get quite a bit of leeway to actually hit the next note, since it's a slider.
  9. 01:43:126 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,1) - add some HS and add more volume, because they don't bring much feedback atm - Not sure what other HS I could put here, but I'll increase the volume a bit.

    I kind of feel like this NC'ing is necessary to make the player understand that this indeed plays like a triplet. I might be wrong tho

Note how the sliderhead of 00:23:643 (3) - is a kick in the song? the slidertail is not. I feel the kick weighs way more than the definition of a starting beat, and in this case, I see zero issue not mapping a click to the sliderend. This pattern also flows really nicely into the next one imo.
  5. 00:34:850 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1) - same issue, mapping the full stream kills the emphasis of the strong beats, maybe do something as the top diff do? :arrow: I really don't feel this one is very intense, and as such, the low spaced stream is enough to justify the "intensity" difference. Even so I think I'm gonna change to your suggestion just cause it plays a lot better and doesnt catch the player off guard as much as the inital pattern does.

    00:05:195 (1,2,1,2) - If I believe what you answered to Natsu, then why spacing is different from stuff like 00:10:712 (1,2,3,4) - who share exactly the same rhythm and music ? They should yes.
    If you take into account how you actually play those patterns, they don't play much differently at all. very minor movement with a jump to the last note.
  2. 00:32:264 (1,2,3,4) - Natsu means the curve could be a bit better, the angle you did with 00:32:436 (3,4) - is a bit broken and could be more smooth.

  3. 01:31:057 (1,2,3) - Imo that's a bit overkill for a 1/4. The back and forth create a non intuitive pattern to follow unlike stuff like 01:42:092 (1,2,3) - .
    I feel like a back and forth movement really fits the music here, but I changed up the pattern a bit so that the spacing isn't as crazy. generally the first 2 notes in a 1/4 jump like this is much easier to hit than the 3rd, so I feel like this should be a decent compromise

Closest I could get to mapping this beat without having two identical sliders for completely different sounds was to map 00:23:643 (3) - as a 3/8 slider with a circle on the new beat. It plays well and should be fine.
