why are they all hp5?

[Oni]
00:43:765 (248,249) - ctrl+g these two? would make the stream end on the same hand you started on and sounds better imo ;)
01:27:289 (493,494) - ctrl+g'ing these would make the stream easier to read for the player since they've already done two dkddk's before it

[Muzukashii]
got nothing to say lol
it feels really nice

[Futsuu]
00:20:322 (46) - change to k to continue the kind of mirror pattern you've been using for this part?
00:26:880 (70) - delete for a nice break spot?
00:36:060 (103) - ^
01:55:076 (347) - probably just me but this note feels a bit unnecessary

[Kantan]
also really nice! no comments here

whether it was intentional or not it's fun to see a taiko no tatsujin song play like a taiko no tatsujin map :D

why are they all hp5? Ummm, good question. I guess because i left the HP settings untouched. Changed to HP7 as the map is short and has enough breaks.

[Oni]
00:43:765 (248,249) - ctrl+g these two? would make the stream end on the same hand you started on and sounds better imo ;) changed
01:27:289 (493,494) - ctrl+g'ing these would make the stream easier to read for the player since they've already done two dkddk's before it changed

[Muzukashii]
got nothing to say lol
it feels really nice well thanks :3

[Futsuu]
00:20:322 (46) - change to k to continue the kind of mirror pattern you've been using for this part? changed
00:26:880 (70) - delete for a nice break spot? done
00:36:060 (103) - ^ done
01:55:076 (347) - probably just me but this note feels a bit unnecessary Hmm actually this feels good to me as it's on the downbeat. Kantan has this beat here as well.

[Kantan]
also really nice! no comments here :3

whether it was intentional or not it's fun to see a taiko no tatsujin song play like a taiko no tatsujin map :D Actually i just started mapping. Didn't notice that it plays like a TnT map so much lol
Thanks for modding! :)

Not much else to say xd

[Muzukashii]

00:22:289 (64,65) - I'd make this a triplet as well, just like you did for all the other instances before this spot, for instance 00:19:830 (51,52,53) and 00:17:207 (38,39,40)

00:30:158 - the missing note here seems a little awkward, especially since it doesn't repeat for any other instance in this section. I'd add a note there

00:56:060 (210) - k

00:56:388 (211) - d

[Oni]

00:22:289 (69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79) - The pitch increases from the start of this pattern, so I think doing it with kkdkk seems a little weird. Try this?:

00:26:224 (102) - I'd make this a d, in accordance to 00:23:601 (81)

00:27:207 (109) - Before this note and 00:26:880 (106) , I'd add two more 1/4 dons to make it a ddd triplet to stay true to the flow you have had going on up to this point. It'd look like this:

00:33:601 (159) - k?

00:40:076 - add d here

00:56:388 (278) - make this a d too to make the higher pitched piano following right after seem more present while playing

00:54:748 (273,274,275,276,277,278,279,280,281,282,283,284) - suggestion: map it this way, it seems more intuitive (this is highly zoomed in so be aware; it's 1/4 snap)

01:01:634 (300,301,302,303,304) - suggestion:

01:04:093 (312) - remove this note to give the high pitched piano on 01:03:929 (311) more significance

01:21:634 (439,440,441,442,443,444,445) - I'd give this little stream a different pattern structure instead of the same as the other kkddk going on around at this very spot because it clearly distinguishes itself from the rest (as you did in 01:24:257 (465) and following). Also I'd connect it to the kkddk following up because the sound it audibly continuing at 01:22:207 as you did with the example and the following identical spots. Suggestion:

Rest seems fine, I hope this'll help :D

00:30:158 - the missing note here seems a little awkward, especially since it doesn't repeat for any other instance in this section. I'd add a note there done

00:56:060 (210) - k

00:56:388 (211) - d Disagreeing with these two suggestions, the high-pitched sounds should be all kats here

[Oni]

00:22:289 (69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79) - The pitch increases from the start of this pattern, so I think doing it with kkdkk seems a little weird. Try this?: Good idea

00:27:207 (109) - Before this note and 00:26:880 (106) , I'd add two more 1/4 dons to make it a ddd triplet to stay true to the flow you have had going on up to this point. It'd look like this: done

00:33:601 (159) - k? done

00:40:076 - add d here I'd like this to be 1/2 patterns as it's just the echo part and I've done that before as well (00:37:207 (194,195,196,197) - for instance)

00:56:388 (278) - make this a d too to make the higher pitched piano following right after seem more present while playing Isn't this pretty high-pitched already?

00:54:748 (273,274,275,276,277,278,279,280,281,282,283,284) - suggestion: map it this way, it seems more intuitive (this is highly zoomed in so be aware; it's 1/4 snap) That one 3/2 gap irritates me while playing so I added another d there

01:01:634 (300,301,302,303,304) - suggestion: done

01:04:093 (312) - remove this note to give the high pitched piano on 01:03:929 (311) more significance

MP3 quality is a little low but I notice this on almost all Zeami tracks, maybe it's stylistic? Idk. It's a good set, I think it could go for rank soon.

[Kantan]
00:07:535 - Could this be a finisher? I think, even though it's the first note, when it comes later, you use finisher there.
01:09:503 - This could be a kat if you want, it changes in pitch but, on other parts it's don too, so I dunno if this is intentional.
This was actually pretty well mapped and looks fun for a kantan.

[Futsuu]
00:07:535 - Same comment as kantan
00:57:371 - This should maybe be a don, since it goes down in pitch.
01:03:273 (162,164) - These are unnecessary
01:11:477 - 01:14:093 - On these, move them to the next white line over. I think it fits and flows better. The sounds are only as long as that 3 note length, not 4.
I feel like there's some really dense parts and it seems a little hard for a futsuu but nothing too crazy so it's ok.

[Muzu]
00:07:535 - Same comment as the above
01:11:470 - 01:14:093 - same as above, as well

[Oni]
00:07:535 - ^
No other comments. Maybe some bn will maybe say some things about the first half but it's mostly impeccable imo.

I haven't found any better MP3 yet but it seems to be a Zeami thing

[Kantan]
00:07:535 - Could this be a finisher? I think, even though it's the first note, when it comes later, you use finisher there. Fixed
01:09:503 - This could be a kat if you want, it changes in pitch but, on other parts it's don too, so I dunno if this is intentional. Changed to kats

01:11:470 - 01:14:093 - same as above, as well Here I think the echo is enough to be mapped in a muzukashii. It flows better like this at least in this case imo.

[Oni]
00:07:535 - ^ Fixed
No other comments. Maybe some bn will maybe say some things about the first half but it's mostly impeccable imo. Well the first part is not as straightforward pattern-wise as the second half. We will see what happens
Thanks for modding! :)

Hi >w<

IRC
15:34 DarkVortex: heyho! how are you?
15:35 game rock: Hey!
15:35 game rock: I'm good thanks and you? :3
15:36 game rock: apologize for the mod DD:
15:36 DarkVortex: yeah same here, thanks
15:36 DarkVortex: just returned from a weekend at my parents' house
15:36 DarkVortex: well it's fine ;)
15:36 game rock: that's great :D
15:36 DarkVortex: but you said you wanted to do an IRC mod instead
15:36 game rock: Yeah, I want to make a IRC mod
15:36 game rock: you are right?
15:37 DarkVortex: yeah
15:37 game rock: :D
15:37 DarkVortex: do you have time for it now?
15:37 game rock: I think yes xD
15:38 DarkVortex: alright then xD
15:38 game rock: Well...Kantan :3
15:41 game rock: 00:12:453 (11,13) - Remove because the note 11 can cause interferency to the finish 00:12:781 (12) - and remove the note 13 to emphasize it
15:43 DarkVortex: 13 follows the melody so I prefer it to stay
15:43 game rock: ok
15:43 DarkVortex: delete 11 thoush
15:44 game rock: 00:15:076 (16,18) - Remove to kee the balance with 00:12:781 (12,13,14) -
15:44 game rock: No no
15:44 game rock: Just remove the note 16 xD
15:44 game rock: Because you not removed the note 13 so xd
15:45 DarkVortex: in this case i think it's fine as it's 5 beats of melody here
15:45 DarkVortex: same as the upcoming patterns
15:45 game rock: Ok :3
15:46 game rock: But remove it 00:17:699 (21) - to keep consistency with 00:12:781 (12,13,14) -
15:48 DarkVortex: hmmm but this would break the consistency with 00:14:748 (14,15,16,17,18) - which is a 5-plet as well
15:48 DarkVortex: and should stay as one imo
15:49 game rock: well owo
15:51 game rock: 00:23:601 (33,34) - Remove to flow the finish 00:23:273 (32) -
15:54 game rock: 00:40:978 (65,66) - Change to d, the melody is low and here is high 00:41:634 (67,68) -
15:55 game rock: sorry uwu
15:56 game rock: 00:40:978 (65,66) - Change to d, the melody is low and here is high 00:41:634 (67,68) -
15:56 game rock: 00:23:601 (33,34) - Remove to flow the finish 00:23:273 (32) -
15:57 DarkVortex: okay
15:57 DarkVortex: i'll change the next pattern to ddkkd then to have some variation
15:57 game rock: ok :33
15:58 game rock: 01:09:503 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - This pattern can be a bit hard
15:59 game rock: Is better if you remove 01:11:142 (6) - and change to d 01:10:486 (4,5) -
16:00 game rock: This is hard to for the new players 01:14:748 (14,15,16,17,18,19) -
16:00 game rock: Remove 01:14:912 (15,18) -
16:02 DarkVortex: okay i'll simplify it
16:02 game rock: ok :D
16:03 game rock: 01:17:371 (21,22) - Change to d, you have many k previously, also this part the melody is low
16:08 DarkVortex: done
16:08 game rock: ok :D
16:09 game rock: 01:19:339 (25,26,27,28,29,30,31,32) - Many notes
16:10 game rock: 01:19:994 (27,31) - Remove
16:10 game rock: 01:22:617 (34,38) -
16:10 game rock: ^
16:11 game rock: 01:25:240 (41,45) - ^ for consistency with 01:19:339 -
16:12 game rock: 01:27:863 (48,52) - ^ for conssitency with 0019:994 -
16:12 DarkVortex: done
16:12 game rock: 01:58:683 (116) - And change to d to emphasize the finish D 01:59:011 (117) -
16:13 DarkVortex: i think k emphasized it more D:
16:14 game rock: ok :3
16:14 game rock: done :D
16:14 game rock: Futsuu
16:16 game rock: 00:12:617 (19) - Remove sounds much better
16:17 DarkVortex: okay
16:17 game rock: 00:20:322 (46) - Change to d to keep consistency with 00:14:585 (25,26,27,28) -
16:17 game rock: 00:22:453 (52) - Change to k to keep conssitency with 00:17:207 (34,35,36,37) -
16:18 DarkVortex: well, it's a kddk and a dkkd pattern
16:18 DarkVortex: i think the inverted patterns are good here D:
16:19 game rock: ok c:
16:20 game rock: omg very nice diff :OO
16:20 DarkVortex: thanks <3
16:20 game rock: 01:32:289 (264) - Change to k to make more strong 01:32:453 (265) -
16:21 DarkVortex: okay
16:21 game rock: and that's all xd
16:21 game rock: great diif :33
16:22 DarkVortex: thank you :3 :3
16:24 game rock: muzu
16:26 game rock: 00:53:273 (207,208,209) - change to kkk or ddd
16:27 game rock: kkd can be a bit confuse
16:28 DarkVortex: it's so significant there though
16:28 DarkVortex: and it's standing alone
16:28 DarkVortex: will keep that in mind and change if necessary
16:28 game rock: ok
16:28 DarkVortex: for now i'd like to keep it
16:28 game rock: :3
16:30 game rock: 01:52:044 (496) - Change to k to variate :3
16:31 DarkVortex: okay
16:31 game rock: done :#
16:31 game rock: Nice diff too :3
16:31 game rock: Oh and the SV in Kantan change to 1,40
16:32 DarkVortex: oops yes
16:32 DarkVortex: will do that too
16:32 DarkVortex: thanks :3 :3
16:32 game rock: no problem ^^
16:34 game rock: 00:22:535 (72) - Remove the finish, the finisnh in a stream can be confuse
16:34 game rock: And then Ctrl G 00:22:453 (71,72) -
16:35 game rock: That is the oni xD
16:35 DarkVortex: yeah i noticed xD
16:35 game rock: xDDD
16:35 DarkVortex: there's no finisher though...
16:36 DarkVortex: and i prefer the dddkk pattern over a ddkdk pattern
16:36 game rock: all right :3
16:36 DarkVortex: as the pitch gets higher gradually
16:39 game rock: ok :3
16:40 game rock: 00:35:650 (179,181) - Change to k, sounds amazing with 00:34:421 (167,168,169,170,171,172,173,174,175,176,177) -
16:40 game rock: Or simply change to k the note 181
16:41 DarkVortex: good point
16:41 game rock: wait a minute please
16:41 DarkVortex: sure
16:48 game rock: sorry ewe let's continue :3
16:49 game rock: 00:43:847 (251,252) - Ctrl G and change to d 00:44:011 (253) - flows better
16:50 game rock: 01:36:552 (567) - Change to k, sounds amazing with 01:36:060 (561,562,563,564,565,566) -
16:50 game rock: 01:52:699 (700) - Change to k to variate, also sounds nice
16:51 game rock: 01:58:929 (761) - Remove to emphasize the finish K 01:59:011 (762) - because a finish in a stream can be confuse and suprise
16:54 DarkVortex: okay done
16:54 game rock: And that's all :3 remember remove the Widescreen Support from Kantan-Muzukashii because in the Oni you not have it
16:56 DarkVortex: can you post this in my thread?
16:56 DarkVortex: then i can give you kudos
16:56 DarkVortex: thanks for modding btw! :D
16:56 game rock: sure :3
16:56 game rock: No problem ^-^
16:57 game rock: Sorry for really late my mod :c
16:57 game rock: the mod*
16:57 DarkVortex: nah it's fine
16:57 game rock: ok >w<
16:57 DarkVortex: i was pretty late with my mod on your map as well :P
16:57 game rock: hahaha ok :3

Nice mapset and good luck for rank! :3
Aisha
Hi! Forgot to post (and finish) it :P

Forgot to comment: HP 7 on every diffs? D: you could use HP 7 on Kantan... 6 on Futsuu and Muzu and 5 on Oni idk :P

Kantan IRC
2017-05-29 04:37 xfraczynho: is it okay if I just let some comments by here
2017-05-29 04:37 xfraczynho: (I need to ref a match on 20 minutes ~)
2017-05-29 04:37 xfraczynho: about your zeami map?
2017-05-29 04:37 DarkVortex: yeah sure
2017-05-29 04:39 xfraczynho: ok so trying to make it like a thread mod:
2017-05-29 04:39 xfraczynho: in general: what about making HP6 on muzu and Oni? It seems a little strange to see everydiffs with same HP
2017-05-29 04:40 DarkVortex: okay
2017-05-29 04:41 xfraczynho: Kantan: 00:12:453 - you could add some note here to emphatise the next section
2017-05-29 04:41 xfraczynho: (I suggest don)
2017-05-29 04:42 xfraczynho: also drums sounds kind of strong
2017-05-29 04:43 xfraczynho: 00:07:535 - Why not ussing offset here :o I think using - is kinda... strange xD also you're not mapping sth before on other diffs
2017-05-29 04:44 xfraczynho: 00:28:847 - you could add some note here to have a consistency with 00:23:601 -
2017-05-29 04:45 xfraczynho: (so this can be a little overmapped for a kantan -> 6 notes in a row so idk tbh :c)
2017-05-29 04:45 xfraczynho: that quarter maybe is a little strange
2017-05-29 04:47 DarkVortex: 6 notes in a row might be too much indeed
2017-05-29 04:47 DarkVortex: i'll think about that
2017-05-29 04:47 DarkVortex: and maybe just use 4 + short break
2017-05-29 04:48 xfraczynho: hmm section change is totally mappeable but
2017-05-29 04:48 xfraczynho: 00:27:863 (40) - maybe deleting ths?
2017-05-29 04:48 xfraczynho: this*
2017-05-29 04:49 DarkVortex: this one is fine imo
2017-05-29 04:49 DarkVortex: follows the music more than when i delete it
2017-05-29 04:49 xfraczynho: yeah you're right
2017-05-29 04:50 xfraczynho: ik consistency =/= totally following music
2017-05-29 04:50 DarkVortex: it's consistent with 00:38:027 (60,61,62,63) - for example
2017-05-29 04:51 xfraczynho: 01:16:880 (16) - what about deleting this?
2017-05-29 04:51 xfraczynho: to let some little break on this part
2017-05-29 04:51 xfraczynho: on this section there's not any 4/1 break so it's a little dense
2017-05-29 04:51 xfraczynho: I know you're following the (wtf is that instrument lol)
2017-05-29 04:51 DarkVortex: okay right
2017-05-29 04:52 DarkVortex: yeah wtf is that even xD
2017-05-29 04:52 DarkVortex: let's call it synth lel
2017-05-29 04:52 xfraczynho: xD synth sounds fine
2017-05-29 04:52 xfraczynho: 01:21:634 (26) - -> 01:21:962 -
2017-05-29 04:52 xfraczynho: sounds great imo
2017-05-29 04:53 xfraczynho: also I think it gives a better break
2017-05-29 04:53 xfraczynho: well tbh both sounds good buth the one I suggested it's kinda more... easy for newbs?
2017-05-29 04:54 DarkVortex: true that
2017-05-29 04:54 DarkVortex: yeah pretty much
2017-05-29 04:54 DarkVortex: changed that
2017-05-29 04:54 xfraczynho: 01:55:076 (93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100) - isn't this a little hard? D:
2017-05-29 04:55 xfraczynho: 01:55:076 (93) - you could delete this anddddddddddddddd
2017-05-29 04:55 xfraczynho: . . . .
2017-05-29 04:55 DarkVortex: yeah delete the dons to make it simpler right?
2017-05-29 04:55 xfraczynho: 01:56:716 (100) - probably using spinner here?
2017-05-29 04:55 xfraczynho: instead the kat
2017-05-29 04:55 xfraczynho: mm
2017-05-29 04:55 xfraczynho: tbh 01:56:060 (97) - I think this is neccesary ;;
2017-05-29 04:56 xfraczynho: I got the same trouble on some map that I did last week lol
2017-05-29 04:56 xfraczynho: so fast part for a Kantan
2017-05-29 04:56 xfraczynho: also you could consider using slider
2017-05-29 04:56 DarkVortex: i think sliders are confusing compared to spinners
2017-05-29 04:57 DarkVortex: at least in kantans and futsuus
2017-05-29 04:57 DarkVortex: that last part should be difficult because it's kiai and the "craziest" part in the song
2017-05-29 04:57 xfraczynho: yes
2017-05-29 04:57 DarkVortex: that's why i made it less dense
2017-05-29 04:58 xfraczynho: sliders are like... streams
2017-05-29 04:58 xfraczynho: yes I agree with that
2017-05-29 04:58 DarkVortex: but more difficult patternwise
2017-05-29 04:58 xfraczynho: but 4 doubles on a row are for Futsuu I think
2017-05-29 04:58 xfraczynho: maybe 3... yes acceptable
2017-05-29 04:58 xfraczynho: so deleting the first don could be fine
2017-05-29 04:58 DarkVortex: okay then

[Futsuu]
  1. 00:12:289 (17) - 00:12:617 - to follow the hard drum better ^^
  2. 00:14:585 (24) - I'd prefer to delete this note to make a 2/1 breaks (that are 'needed' on Futsuu's diff)
  3. 00:17:207 (33) - I think this one is good just if you agree with above suggestion :P
  4. 00:19:830 (42) - delete too?
  5. 00:23:273 - I feel this section a little strange, you start with lot of triples then start using some single-breaks and one quarter pattern... you could try to make it a little more consistent :)
  6. 01:15:240 (199) - you could make this don since it's not the same pitch as 01:16:552 (203) - and it's more fun imo :p
  7. 01:24:912 (235) - not sure if this deserve a big note tbh
  8. 01:36:060 - 2 quintuples almost in a row is way too hard imo (considering the bpm)
That's all for now! Best of luck, love this song :D

Hi! Forgot to post (and finish) it :P

Forgot to comment: HP 7 on every diffs? D: you could use HP 7 on Kantan... 6 on Futsuu and Muzu and 5 on Oni idk :P It's a pretty short map, went for HP 7 on Kantan and Futsuu and HP 6 on Muzu and Oni

Clean difficulty!

[Futsuu]
00:17:207 - remove this?

00:38:519 (202,203,204,205,206) - change to kdkkd

01:04:912 - change to k
 can emphasize 01:05:240 - this part better

01:08:027 - change to d

01:56:306 - change to k

This is better than namco original one a lot lol

Thank you for modding! :)

Shouldn't the source be 太鼓の達人 and put taiko no tatsujin in the tags? Unless its ONLY in the english version of it. There might be some other metadata issues. is the true name actually ムラサキver 紫煌ノ乱? Murasaki ver Shiko no Ran ?? I'm not sure though. My sources are http://taikotime.blogspot.com/2015/04/n ... songs.html and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWt__35Do3U
Increase HP of Kantan to 7.5 and decrease oni HP to 5.5? would be a nice spread of HP then.
00:04:912 - put a spinner starting from here and ending at 00:07:207 - to represent the buildup?
In the harder diffs place a SV at 00:45:568 - to slow down the scroll speed quite a bit, and speed it up a little bit at 00:58:355 - because thats when the drums start playing, and have it at full speed at 01:09:339 -
[Kantan:]
00:50:814 - change to k, its the same pitch as 00:49:175 - .
00:53:273 - place a kat here. there is a decrescendo here. a 1/2 doublet is fine for a kantan if there is a rest period afterwards.
01:09:175 - change to a d, the pitch of the loud noise is low.
01:12:126 (7,8) - change to a k based on the pitch of the synth noise. 01:12:126 - is the same pitch as 01:14:748 -
01:13:109 - change to a d also for the same reason as above
01:09:503 - change to a k, the pitch of the synth noise is high, also the same as 01:12:617 -
01:10:486 (4,5,6) - make these all d, it will contrast with 01:13:109 (9,10,11) - because the pitches of the notes are lower the first time in that pattern.
01:11:470 - move to 01:11:306 - , same pattern as 01:13:929 -
01:15:240 (13,14,15) - Change them all to d based on the pitch.
01:17:863 (17,18) - CTRL+G based on pitch
01:38:355 (59,62,65,71,74,77) - change this all to d based on the pitch. they're the same pitch as 01:48:519 - , which you mapped as a don.
01:53:765 - through 01:54:748 - place a drumroll or a spinner here? something needs to go here to represent the intensity of the music

tbh the exact same pitch changes I suggest from my Kantan applies to the harder difficulties as well.
[Muzukashii:]
I don't know if two 1/4th triplets one after another with only a 1/2 break in between them is really fitting of a muzukashii, you seem to do that a lot in the beginning.
Also I think that 00:42:289 - through 00:44:257 - is just too hard. 4 1/4th triplets continously with no 1/1 break is really hard. consider making it easier?
[Oni:]
00:43:601 - Consider breaking up this stream? 9 notes is really long.
Faputa
From my Queue,

tatatat did a long mod on Kantan, so I will not mod Kantan for now.

[General]
⏩01:38:027 - Kiai should start here.
⏩Timing offset change to 330? <- checked with percussion starting sounds with 25%, but if you think it's neglitable, just leave it there

[Futsuu]
⏩00:12:126 (16,17,18,19) - consider changing this into d d d 。 D or d d d d D, it would be more friendly to the music.
⏩00:17:207 (32,33,34,35) - dkdk would be easier for Futsuu players but still following the music nicely.
⏩00:25:240 (61,62) - Change to d k, doing so for a high pitched percussion at k
⏩01:41:962 (296,297,298) - I am quite worried about this.
⏩01:47:207 (312,313,314) - So as this one.

[Muzukashii]
⏩00:58:358 (218) - Change to k? You use k for melody in this section.
⏩01:15:243 (288,289,290,291) - I think kkdd is better.
⏩01:24:260 (340,341,342) - ddd seems to be sounding better to adapt to the next section.

[Oni]
⏩01:03:601 (257,258,259) - ddk. Should not be all ks here.
⏩01:58:191 (610,611,612,613,614,615,616) - Change to kkkkddddk? To recap the pattern of 00:43:601 (202,203,204,205,206,207,208,209,210) - where they have similar sounds.

[Inner Oni]
⏩00:32:126 (146) - Change to k, for a sound that you use k to represent very often before this position.
⏩00:39:503 (212,213,214,215,216) - kdd d k or kkd d k, changing the triple (215) because the song is getting into lower pitch; changing (216) because of the same reason of the first suggestion.
⏩01:02:945 (304,305,306,307,308,309) - I think if the previous section you use ddd’s that often, making these notes all d would be better design-wise.
⏩01:31:962 (527,528,529,530,531,532,533) - dkdkkkk? To follow those drums better.

That’s all! Thanks for requesting
Good luck with the mapset :D

00:04:912 - put a spinner starting from here and ending at 00:07:207 - to represent the buildup? Hmmm, I think it's okay to start with the drums because the intro is very short
In the harder diffs place a SV at 00:45:568 - to slow down the scroll speed quite a bit, and speed it up a little bit at 00:58:355 - because thats when the drums start playing, and have it at full speed at 01:09:339 - Will do
[Kantan:]
00:50:814 - change to k, its the same pitch as 00:49:175 - .Done
00:53:273 - place a kat here. there is a decrescendo here. a 1/2 doublet is fine for a kantan if there is a rest period afterwards. Uhhh i think doublets are too harsh in a quiet section like this. Kiai has some but it's supposed to have the hardest patterns in the whole map.
01:09:175 - change to a d, the pitch of the loud noise is low. Done
01:12:126 (7,8) - change to a k based on the pitch of the synth noise. 01:12:126 - is the same pitch as 01:14:748 - I think you got something mixed up here...
01:13:109 - change to a d also for the same reason as above ^
01:09:503 - change to a k, the pitch of the synth noise is high, also the same as 01:12:617 - Actually I think a d d k k k pattern suits that part best
01:10:486 (4,5,6) - make these all d, it will contrast with 01:13:109 (9,10,11) - because the pitches of the notes are lower the first time in that pattern.
01:11:470 - move to 01:11:306 - , same pattern as 01:13:929 - Some variation as the 2nd time the k k 1/1 are much more significant Twice the same pattern is not the best imo
01:48:191 (82,83) - has a significant pitch change that's why it's k d. the others are better mapped with d k k due the the low pitch at the don
01:53:765 - through 01:54:748 - place a drumroll or a spinner here? something needs to go here to represent the intensity of the music Uhh, I think it's fine as it is especially as the following part is the hardest throughout the map.

tbh the exact same pitch changes I suggest from my Kantan applies to the harder difficulties as well.
Done
[Oni:]
00:43:601 - Consider breaking up this stream? 9 notes is really long. It's a ddddkkkkd which is pretty easy after all

From my Queue,

tatatat did a long mod on Kantan, so I will not mod Kantan for now.

[General]
⏩01:38:027 - Kiai should start here. But the end is even more intense :/
⏩Timing offset change to 330? <- checked with percussion starting sounds with 25%, but if you think it's neglitable, just leave it there  I think -333 is fine. Didn't notice any offset issues while playing

All fixed

All fixed

All fixed

[Inner Oni]
⏩00:32:126 (146) - Change to k, for a sound that you use k to represent very often before this position. That's due that high synth sound before which doesn't exist here
⏩00:39:503 (212,213,214,215,216) - kdd d k or kkd d k, changing the triple (215) because the song is getting into lower pitch; changing (216) because of the same reason of the first suggestion. Done
⏩01:02:945 (304,305,306,307,308,309) - I think if the previous section you use ddd’s that often, making these notes all d would be better design-wise.Done
⏩01:31:962 (527,528,529,530,531,532,533) - dkdkkkk? To follow those drums better. dkdkddk is perfect to follow the drums and plays nicely with the following 1/6

That’s all! Thanks for requesting

Hello, apologize for the super mega delay. Many things happened and well, anyway ... Nm request from my queue. :3

Kantan

  1. 00:13:109 (13) - Delete this. the reason is that the kantan players can not even differentiate in which finger each color goes (although there are only two ...) So that you put a pattern of 5 simple notes together you can cause confusion, the best thing is that you do not you exceed 3 and rarely 4 at the end to give you some difficulty.
  2. 00:15:732 (18) - Same reason ^ Delete please.
  3. 00:17:699 (21) - Change this to red for variety and delete this, please: 00:18:355 (23) -
  4. 00:19:994 (25) - Change to blue and delete: 00:20:978 (28) -
  5. 00:23:601 (33) - 00:31:470 (48) - 00:41:962 (68) - Same reason
  6. 00:42:945 (70,71,72,73,74) - This for example can be excepted for being end of sentence and leave enough space after, so it is valid.
  7. If you listen carefully, from here: 00:53:109 - to here: 00:53:437 - Three notes are heard, in the music I say, not on the map. Then I think it would not be bad if you move this: 00:53:273 (87) - to here: 00:53:109 - It is best that you leave the double notes from the futsuu.
  8. 01:27:207 (36) - Change this to blue! It would look great with what you've done before: 01:19:339 (21,22,23) - 01:29:175 (40) - And this red
So that all this part is: kdk ddk kdk ddkd
  9. 01:36:388 (55) - Delete, please.

Futsuu

  1. I would like you to try to do this pattern: https://puu.sh/xEmNv/985ebdb75d.png Since as you have it put is very difficult, this difficulty looks like a Muzukashii. I will tell you a trick, in Futsuu it is true that you can put three notes in a row, but if this increases the difficulty a lot then it is better to fill it with double notes.
  2. 00:10:158 (9,10,11,12,13,14,15) - The same with this pattern ^ 00:12:289 (17) - Delete this note to give more space, is Futsuu, not Muzukashii.
  3. move this: 00:23:929 (57) - to here: 00:24:093 -

Hmm... I would suggest remapping this difficulty, sounds great but unfortunately this is a muzukashii, not a Futsuu (no offense D:) I see many mistakes and I think it would take a laaargo mod to fit everything, think about it a little, you do not have to do it if you do not want. :3

Muzukashii

  1. Delete this: 00:15:076 (30) - 00:17:699 (42) - 00:17:699 (42) - To give a little space and I think it sounds just as good. :3
  2. 00:22:289 (64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72) - Two triplets so followed may confuse, accommodate this part please.
  3. 00:27:945 (98) - Remove that note, do not satures the difficulty of triplets.
  4. 00:38:027 (151,152,153,154,155,156,157,158,159) - Same :3

  6. I think that here you should vary, like putting triplet and then not, then again a triplet and so on. It's too much that you put so many in a row, it looks like an oni. D: 01:19:666 (308,309,310,311,312,313,314,315,316,317,318,319,320,321,322,323,324,325,326,327,328,329,330,331,332,333,334,335,336,337,338,339,340,341,342,343,344,345,346,347,348,349,350,351,352,353,354,355,356,357,358,359,360,361,362,363,364,365,366,367,368,369,370) -

Oni

  3. 01:43:027 (511,512) - ctrl + g too, sounds better.

I really liked the Oni difficulty, but I think you have problems with low difficulties, more than all futsuu and muzukashii, practically the beginning between futsuu and oni is the same. You need to look at and learn the difference between difficulties, what things each difficulty has, how many maximum marks it should take, etc., etc. Good luck and I hope I have not offended you in any way, I really like to help and I want your map to be as good as possible. :3

Honestly I think this diff is good and follows the music well even though it's rather hard for a futsuu. Probably won't remap it.

Muzukashii

It's not a problem if some difficulties have the same patterning at some spots. Some parts are so easy or significant with their patterns that adding more beats would destroy the feeling to play the song imo. That's why the intro and the calm middle part are so similar from futsuu to oni.

Karee Pan
Hey there. From my queue.
Sorry if some of these feel like too big of a nerf. Just consider them as suggestions

[Kantan]

Perfect!

[Futsuu]

Notes seem fine, it's just a bit too tough for a Futsuu. Feels like me modding it would nerf it so much that i'll just leave it to you, but i would suggest making it a bit simpler at times. Rough examples:
00:23:273 - onwards could use more 1/1 and 2/1 breaks.
01:14:748 - onwards note intensity seem intense.
01:32:781 - onwards patterns seem hard.

[Muzukashii]

00:15:240 (31,43,56) - Consider removing these notes to build the intensity a bit slower and to separate from the next part
at 00:23:273
00:27:535 (93) - I would prefere x_xxx_x to match other sets here.
01:04:748 (233,235) - Don't think we need these notes 01:04:585 (232) and d
01:07:371 (245) - Maybe move this to 01:08:027 and d ? Feels it builds the intensity more in this part.
01:11:470 (266) - How about move this to 01:11:634 and switch to d to have consistent doubles in this section ?
01:14:093 (278) - ^ If yes then i would delete this too.
01:51:798 (487,488) - they sound like d's to me.

[Oni]

00:14:912 (31) - Maybe kddd like in 00:20:158 ?
00:34:257 (136,137) - Ctrl-g sounds better and matches 00:36:716 (153,154,156)
01:04:585 - Same as muzukashii for the intensity build imo.
01:11:634 01:14:257 - - I want to add d's
01:42:371 (507,544) - Could consider deleting these for a bit of a breather
01:49:748 (559) - I would just move this to 01:49:339, the 5plet feels somewhat out of place here.

[Inner Oni]

00:14:830 00:20:076 - - could add d's here to separate from Oni a bit.
00:31:224 (141) - Stands out a bit as the lone 4. Maybe delete ?
00:32:207 (148) - I like the 3plets more in this section so would delete this as well.
00:35:978 - Could add d here for extra intensity in this section
01:41:142 (609) - d, like the others in this section
01:53:683 (706) - d works better to separate the next big sound more.

kantan

01:09:175 (1) - if you map the synth dont put a note on the downbeat this would just confuse players. i'd suggest finishing the slider on the downbeat instead

01:42:945 (70) - if you use a the red tick rhythm at 01:42:453 - i'd suggest deleting for the sake of simplicity

01:56:060 (4) - weird diffspike.. probably deleting this note would keep a kiai spike while not being too overwhelming

add more 3/4 breaks if possible to allow rest moments for the players

futsuu

some parts are a bit extreme density wise i'd suggest to nerf where you use big chunks of 1/1 and 1/2 such as this part for exemple 01:05:240 -
stating precise timestamps would be useless, just work for a small global nerf throughout the diff.

muzu

01:06:552 - nerf this whole part this is way too dense for a silent and slow section

01:50:650 (475) - removing this would sound way better in my opinion rhythm wise

oni

00:55:404 - if you go on this rhythm keep going, here you go from a drum improvised rhythm to suddenly 00:56:060 - a rhythm following the synth which sounds quite odd

01:50:322 - not really against it but it looks weird to have a sudden k 1/2 spam considering the structure used until now in the kiai

inner

01:13:601 - extremely weird playing / sounding wise i'd suggest this approach which will make the part play and flow a bit better while following the synth

2017-10-10 07:38 DarkVortex: let's go
2017-10-10 07:38 DarkVortex: well
2017-10-10 07:38 DarkVortex: arrival said that downbeat is not covered by a synth so it might be confusing for kantan players
2017-10-10 07:38 DarkVortex: i changed it
2017-10-10 07:39 DarkVortex: but somehow i'm not really satisfied with that xD
2017-10-10 07:39 xfraczynho: hmmm
2017-10-10 07:39 xfraczynho: if you want to hold it
2017-10-10 07:39 xfraczynho: then making a shorter spinner on Fut and some notes
2017-10-10 07:39 xfraczynho: or maybe the same spinner idk
2017-10-10 07:41 xfraczynho: 00:27:535 (40) - even I know you're folowwing on here, I think it's better if you make a quintuple by adding note on 00:28:847 -
2017-10-10 07:42 xfraczynho: applies for 00:38:027 (60) - aswell
2017-10-10 07:42 I mean moving *
2017-10-10 07:42 xfraczynho: it's gonna decrease SR a little
2017-10-10 07:43 xfraczynho: 00:45:896 - this section is same on all difficulties, what about making it a little easier on Kantan? It's easy and depends on you, but it would be little better imo
2017-10-10 07:45 DarkVortex: okay
2017-10-10 07:45 xfraczynho: 01:16:880 (15) - you could remove this too, this section is a little dense since it's not 'Kiai' but fast part
2017-10-10 07:46 xfraczynho: there aren't 4/1 breaks between 01:30:158 - 01:05:240 -
2017-10-10 07:46 xfraczynho: lol abekobe
2017-10-10 07:46 xfraczynho: Futsuu looked well when testplayed
2017-10-10 07:47 DarkVortex: btw are 3/1 breaks also okay in Kantan?
2017-10-10 07:47 xfraczynho: hmmm for this bpm are good
2017-10-10 07:47 xfraczynho: but could be better if you use 4/1's
2017-10-10 07:48 xfraczynho: SR is kinda high, even isn't that important, it's still a point to threat xD
2017-10-10 07:49 DarkVortex: well during that offbeat patterning around here 01:20:650 - a 4/1 break is difficult to achieve imo
2017-10-10 07:49 DarkVortex: but 3/1 fits well
2017-10-10 07:49 DarkVortex: so
2017-10-10 07:49 DarkVortex: going with 3/1 in that case
2017-10-10 07:50 xfraczynho: that's true
2017-10-10 07:50 xfraczynho: should be fine for me
2017-10-10 07:50 xfraczynho: ACTION is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/1415214 Zeami - Shikou no Ran [Oni]]
2017-10-10 07:51 xfraczynho: 00:31:142 (117) - only diff with finisher, is there any reason?
2017-10-10 07:51 xfraczynho: I mean, muzu can use this aswell
2017-10-10 07:51 xfraczynho: or maybe removing it on Oni
2017-10-10 07:51 DarkVortex: it's used inconsistently though
2017-10-10 07:51 xfraczynho: I can understand usage on Inner cause triplet
2017-10-10 07:52 DarkVortex: gonna remove it
2017-10-10 07:52 DarkVortex: i used it for that whew synth sound
2017-10-10 07:52 DarkVortex: no idea why just once xD
2017-10-10 07:52 xfraczynho: xD
2017-10-10 07:52 xfraczynho: it sounds understandable
2017-10-10 07:52 xfraczynho: just inconsistent
2017-10-10 07:52 xfraczynho: that's why I asked for reason
2017-10-10 07:53 xfraczynho: 00:44:257 (210) - applies same for this
2017-10-10 07:53 xfraczynho: to be honest I pref looking this than Inner finisher
2017-10-10 07:54 xfraczynho: ACTION is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/1224945 Zeami - Shikou no Ran [Inner Oni]]
2017-10-10 07:54 xfraczynho: so 00:44:175 - add and 00:44:257 (255) - remove finish?
2017-10-10 07:55 xfraczynho: and... on muzu
2017-10-10 07:55 xfraczynho: ACTION is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/1224944 Zeami - Shikou no Ran [Muzukashii]]
2017-10-10 07:55 xfraczynho: 00:12:453 - triple D could fit really good for this diff
2017-10-10 07:55 xfraczynho: 00:34:093 (123,124,125,126,127,128,129,130,131,132,133,134,135,136,137,138,139,140,141,142,143,144) - these are a little dense imo
2017-10-10 07:56 xfraczynho: 00:35:240 (131) - 00:36:880 (141) - remove maybe?
2017-10-10 07:56 xfraczynho: 00:38:437 (149) - also
2017-10-10 07:57 xfraczynho: and the last suggestion here: 01:19:666 - ddd k usage from here and 01:24:257 - kkk k usage from here?
2017-10-10 07:58 xfraczynho: reason: 01:10:978 - from here you come using kkk a lot so when you start on 01:19:666 - it doesn't have the same emphasis
2017-10-10 07:58 xfraczynho: and it could be more interesting
2017-10-10 07:59 xfraczynho: let me know when you've applied them I think it's p good
2017-10-10 08:03 DarkVortex: alright i updated

hi there!
here's some little notes I've gotten while looking at your map :)

is the metadata confirmed? if you need help with it, hit me up

Futsuu
  • If you look at the first ~20 notes of this difficulty with Muzu, Oni and Inner Oni, they are all the same, which does not represent the way the spread should be, mostly when Kantan uses a very basic rhythm compared to this difficulty. To make the spread even, you should use a similar rhythm as Kantan, but with a higher density. Take a look to the screen below for an idea on how to fix the spread:

Oni
  1. 00:24:257 (79) - , 00:25:568 (87) - , 00:30:814 (115) - , 00:34:748 (140) - , 00:41:306 (184) - : Similar issue as what I said on Inner Oni. (You can check my opinion there)
Here's what you can do to fix this inconsistency:
    *00:24:257 (79) - : Add a kat
    *00:25:568 (87) - : Add a kat
    *00:30:814 (115) - : 00:30:650 (113,114,115) - Switch them with CTRL+G
    *00:34:748 (140) - : 00:34:666 (139,140) - Reverse them
    *00:41:306 (184) - : 00:41:142 (182,183,184) - Switch them with CTRL+G
Inner Oni
  1. 00:30:814 (137) - . 00:32:126 (146) - , 00:34:748 (170) - , 00:41:306 (225) - : Starting at 00:24:257 (86) - , you were mainly focusing on emphasizing the kicks with a kat. On the four notes I've mentioned, you were not following this consistency and they all have dons instead. Here's what you can do to fix this inconsistency:
    *00:30:814 (137) - Reverse both (136) and (137) and to have a great transition, do a kkd to 00:30:978 (138,139,140) - ;
    *00:32:126 (146) - Add a kat
    *00:34:748 (170) - Reverse both (169) and (170)
    *00:41:306 (225) - Add a kat
  2. 00:31:962 - This place feels empty, add a don here. By adding a note, you're also following the bass of 00:31:798 (145) - .
  3. 00:37:535 (196) - Make this note a kat as it will make a harder emphasis on 197's downbeat bass. Do the same for 00:40:158 (217) - .
  4. 01:41:880 (615,616,617,618,619,620) - There are sounds in here which are not greatly emphasized. In this case, you should make these notes like the screen below. The last three kats will emphasize the misleading rhythm. Do the same for 01:47:207 (656,657,658,659,660) - :

Oni
  1. 00:24:257 (79) - , 00:25:568 (87) - , 00:30:814 (115) - , 00:34:748 (140) - , 00:41:306 (184) - : Similar issue as what I said on Inner Oni. (You can check my opinion there)
Here's what you can do to fix this inconsistency:
    *00:24:257 (79) - : Add a kat Fixed
    *00:25:568 (87) - : Add a kat Fixed
*00:30:814 (115) - : 00:30:650 (113,114,115) - Switch them with CTRL+G dkk here? Imo that's pretty annoying to play so I prefer kdk instead. Also dkk doesn't fit the descending synth motion while kdk somewhat keeps it.
    *00:34:748 (140) - : 00:34:666 (139,140) - Reverse them I prefer kdk again
    *00:41:306 (184) - : 00:41:142 (182,183,184) - Switch them with CTRL+G Fixed
Inner Oni
  1. 00:30:814 (137) - . 00:32:126 (146) - , 00:34:748 (170) - , 00:41:306 (225) - : Starting at 00:24:257 (86) - , you were mainly focusing on emphasizing the kicks with a kat. *00:32:126 (146) - Add a kat Fixed
*00:34:748 (170) - Reverse both (169) and (170) Uh but the pitch is very low here and a kat doesn't fit
    *00:41:306 (225) - Add a kat Fixed
  2. 00:31:962 - This place feels empty, add a don here. By adding a note, you're also following the bass of 00:31:798 (145) - . Fixed

Also I don't really like dk dk dk three times in a row :o having different kinds of doubles makes it more interesting imo

Thanks for modding! :)
