•00:07:753 (4,5) - These could use a different spacing from 00:07:412 (1,2,3) - , since the sounds come in groups of 3. same here 01:13:208 (4,5)
i could but dont think i should be highlighting them since emphasis on those two notes might seem a bit strange when playing, since i would be breaking how fluid the entire pattern would be if i changed the dsing -
•00:09:230 - sure you wanna ignore this?
am i missing something here? cause all i hear is a minor drum beat, and i skip more major ones like 00:12:639 anyway since im prioritising vocals in most sections throughout the song•00:10:025 (1,2) - if you ctrl+j this it will play much better considering the movement that leads up to it, 00:09:571 (4,5) - . if you do that you might as well move 00:10:366 (3) - a bit more down to keep the good movement going, like
this. will also make a nice visual effect cuz it looks like it stacks with 00:10:366 (3,5,1) -
yeah i understand your point but i think playwise its basically the same
but my current arrangement makes the movement a bit sharper which reflects the music a bit better i think and it gives a better contrast with 00:10:139 (2,1) - •00:11:389 (3) - making this a slider would feel better cuz held vocal, considering you emphasised those on all other occasions 00:10:139 (2,4) - 00:11:844 (1,4) -
mm i'll think about it, i think it was a slider originally but i decided on a note later on cause it sounded more like 1 syllable compared to the others, but im open to changing it if more people mention it i guess •00:15:025 (2) - could use different spacing cuz different sound
i kinda just ignore the drums in this diff, so im not sure. I'll change it if its incosistent with something else though•00:22:185 (4,5,6,7) - this spacing gives the sound no contrast at all compared to the rest of the song, doing something like
this would be much better imo
sure that gives contrast but your suggestion definitely looks out of place when you consider the map as a whole since it'll be the only instance where that sortve stacking occurs. Its probably ok but i dont think it really contributes to improving the overall quality of the map if that makes sense.I think if i was to change this it would probably be more of a pattern change rather a spacing one•00:37:298 - shouldn't this be kiai too :v
aah yeah fixed•00:38:662 (4,5,6,7) - 00:40:480 (1,2,3,4) - same vocal pitch yet different spacing. the rest of the kiai actually just has the same spacing so to keep it consistent you should either make 00:38:662 (4,5,6,7) - spaced as well, or make the notes following the same sounds (such as 00:40:480 (1,2,3,4) - 00:45:935 (1,2,3,4) - 00:47:753 (3,4,5,6) - have the same spacing as 00:38:662 (4,5,6,7) - . same goes for all the other kiai as well, make them consistent
uhh theres like a brass sound thats louder going thru the vocals thats why its higher spacing later, though admittedly the main reasoning is i dont want to make a 8 note stream thats the same ds as the rest of the patterns since it takes up a lot of real estate and also making it unreasonably difficult in comparison to everything else. Its consistent between sections so hopefully its good enough •01:21:844 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - maybe making these higher and lower spacing to match the vocals' pitch would be nice
yeah when i can think of something good i'll probably change this•02:12:639 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - gradually higher spacing would feel better to match the guitar
im not really a fan of gradually increasing ds patterns, i think if i would change this it would be similar to like 02:14:571 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - where ds changes suddenly, but i think it would lack contrast if i did do something similar•02:27:980 (6) - inconsistent rhythm with 01:44:344 (7,8) - and 00:38:889 (6,7) -
yeah it is but reason why is cause 02:27:753 (5) - this is 1 syllable, and i dont want to go into a 6 note stream where 2 of the notes are like a smaller ds if i wanted to make it consistent
