Hey from #modreqs

Spicy Napolitan

  1. 00:15:215 (3,4) - Ctrl + G for better flow
Insane

  1. 00:49:952 (1) - Remove NC
  2. 01:10:479 (4,5,6,7,8) - The jump space difference here is too off despite the music remaining the same level of intensity
  3. 01:21:827 - There is a sound here
Hard

  1. 00:12:452 (6) - This is the only time you use the 1/4 reverse slider to represent this sound, you've used only single sliders for the rest of the time it is heard
  2. 00:32:979 (4) - Ctrl + G so it leads into the next hit-object
  3. 00:40:479 (3,1) - You've overlapped the sliderends here, but not anywhere else
  4. 00:50:742 (1) - Fix blanket
  5. 00:55:479 (1,3) - Fix blanketS
  6. 01:00:610 (2) - This is just basically a wide angle jump, try Ctrl + G so it can flow into the circle
  7. 01:15:413 (4) - In the last kiai section, you used 01:02:584 (4) - as a reverse slider for the clap sound, but not here
  8. 01:17:584 (1,3) - Try making these overlap perfectly
Normal

  1. 01:33:965 (2,3) - Maybe switch these two so the slider overlap isn't noticeable:
    Your Version:

    My Version:
Easy

  1. 01:06:531 (1) - Fix blanket
  2. 01:14:426 (3) - Optional | This might as well be a straight slider, the bend is barely noticeable
General

This mapset is really good in thesense that it looks clean and polished out. You matched the rhythm nicely although there were some inconsistencies,
I think you're capable of solving them. Your timing is right and I couldn't find a lot of New Combo errors.

In the Spicy Napolitan difficulty, you had some weird overlaps and strange choice of jumps for particular sections, but they weren't game breaking. But just as a suggestion, you should try to go through it and make sure your jump patterns are what you want them to be.

There is also the subject of hit-sounding; you definitely need hit-sounds.
Sorry if the mod was short (or bad), I'm trying to practice :D

Hey i'm not to best at modding but I got some suggestions :D

Spicy Napolitan

00:53:110 (1,2) - circle two feels so weird to play with I would move it to the left 00:52:321 (1,2) - this can stay but going back to that coner on note 2 the second time feels so off.

Insane

00:12:452 (5,6,7) - its all good but you could make this triple go straight with the circle before it and just follow the line. so instand of the triple going left just have it go with the line but its good how it is.

Hard

00:19:952 (3,4) - Why not blanked its a hard diff, but than again its a hard diff got to make it hard on them. ;)

Only 3 things for you sorry again not the best love the song good luck :)

general
wow, jumps and sliders are put in a clear way, teach me how to put jumps pls
remember to add tags later
here are my advice, no taken is ok, as there are less problems
Spicy Napolitan
there are a few 1/4 ignored, like 00:12:452 (5,6,7) - 00:31:400 (4,5,6) - , well I guess it's on purpose
maybe you can lower the ar9.2 to ar9, as the bpm is 152, will be easier for high rank players to play with dt mode
od can up to od8
insane
ar can be 8.7 or 8.8, od can be 7
the ds at the beginning is almost the same as the ex diff
00:48:965 (4,1,2) - not stack 4 and 1 will be better
easy
00:32:979 (2,4) - as it's the first diff, stack in this way maybe unsafe
00:36:137 (2,4) - you can stack them like the way you did in 00:29:821 (2,4) -
Sorry for the less help I did, it's a good map, GL :)

hi from #modreqs! and also from stalking you because you made curtain call xd

Normal
00:52:715 (2) - This doesn't fit that well because you are using stacks to represent 1/2 in the whole song, but in this one.

Hard
00:07:715 (5) - Should I ask why is this the only one to be with a red point in this section? I can't hear any difference.
00:28:242 (5) - Ctrl + G?
00:30:215 (1) - There's no sound ?? Here you're prioritising vocals, which start 1/2 after.
01:02:584 (4) - This looks ok, but I think you should change the rhythm choice here because the claps aren't enphasized (maybe: slider with no reverse + circle?)
01:11:268 (1,2) - Maybe stack these two for a better representation of 1/2 rhythm?
01:13:242 (2) - Ctrl + G?
01:15:413 (4) - ^
01:15:808 (5) - NC? -> and remove 01:16:005 (1) - 's NC
01:18:965 (4) - ^ -> and remove 01:19:163 (1) - 's ´NC
01:19:163 (1) - Ctrl + G?
01:19:163 (1) - Ctrl + G if you want to have consistent spacing.
01:19:558 (2) - ^
01:22:123 (3) - NC? -> and remove 01:22:321 (1) - 's NC
01:32:979 (4) - I don't this this one is the most necessary one but if you want (I doubt it xd) you could Ctrl + g so it flows nice :D. But as said, I don't think you want to because that's a common pattern you use in the song.

Insane
00:16:794 (3,4,5,6) - Unconsistent spacing.
00:26:268 (3) - Maybe make a curved slider because it's still vocals so the straight ones go for filler rhythm.
00:27:058 (1,2,3,4) - Unconsistent spacing and a bit messy pattern.
00:29:426 (5) - You could make this slider's end finish on 00:28:834 (2)
00:30:215 (1,2,3,4) - Another unconsistent spacing and pattern. 1,2 and 3,4 have different spacing between themselves but they represent the same sound.
00:31:794 (1,2,3,4) - Another one
00:33:373 (1,2,3,4) - Another one
00:34:952 (1,2,3,4) - Another one
01:07:321 (3,4,5,6) - Another one
01:24:689 (3,4,5,6) - Another one
00:39:492 (5) - NC? -> remove 00:39:689 (1) - 's NC
00:46:400 (3,4) - Different spacing from 00:46:005 (1,2) but it's the same sound and pitch, there's no reason to change spacing.
00:56:465 (6) - NC?
01:15:413 (4) - NC?
01:23:110 (3,4,5,6) - These sounds are lower than 01:27:847 (3,4) , so why increasing spacing when it should be reverse?
01:27:847 (3,4,5,6) - ^
I think you should remap this difficulty, there are no clear patterns.

Good luck on another catchy song! :3

ok, hard diff NC / Ctrl + n not fixed, insane too but another fix :V

from modreq :)

spicy
00:07:321 (4) - you could blanket this slider to 00:06:531 (1) - better
00:07:715 (5) - this jump should be the same distance as 00:06:926 (2) - since its basically the same thing so you could just lower the spacing on 00:06:926 (2) - to keep the stack
00:07:913 (6) - make sure this is same spacing as 00:07:123 (3) - since basically same thing
00:09:492 (6) - maybe move this to the left little bit so its the same visual distance as 00:09:689 (1) - is from 00:08:900 (3) -
00:10:084 (2) - I get that you want to stack this to the 5 but the spacing is smaller than everything around it which kinda mess with emphasis
00:10:479 (3,4) - these jumps could be the same distance as 00:07:715 (5,6) - just for consistency
00:14:031 (5,6) - increase spacing here since it is not that much weaker than the jumps prior
00:17:189 (5,6) - maybe lower spacing here since it is not the much more intense than the jumps prior
00:21:137 (3) - maybe raise spacing here
00:34:360 (4) - maybe stack to 00:33:176 (7) -
00:34:952 (1) - blanket to 00:34:558 (5) - could be better
00:34:360 (4,5,6) - you could make this a perfect triangle (same spacing on each jump)
00:35:347 (2) - maybe move this so it doesnt overlap 00:34:755 (6) - like it does
00:38:110 (1) - make this the same "spacing" as 00:37:913 (6) -
00:40:873 (5) - the overlap here is kinda random
00:41:663 (2) - move this so its more like 00:40:479 (4,5) - since the spacing seems random, this way if you do the same thing over and over it seems less random
00:41:860 (3) - move this to the left a little bit so it has even spacing between 4 and 2 maybe x:358 y:18
00:43:242 (3) - myabe tilt this slider up a few degrees to make it "flow" better into the stream maybe rotate by 6 degrees
00:44:031 (8,9,1) - I would say the same here but up to you
00:53:110 (1,2,3,4) - since all the jumps before were changing loctaion and spacing why just randomly stop
00:53:900 (1) - maybe dont stack this since its kinda out of nowhere
00:54:689 (1) - maybe move this a little off the stack so its more obvious
00:55:873 (5) - start the increase of spacing here since its where the loud beat is
00:57:058 (1) - make this two circles it gives more impact to the vocals aince this is the kiai
01:07:321 (4,5,6) - these can have bigger spacing :)
ok im going to try making sense here
01:08:505 (2) - maybe stack this to 01:07:715 (6) -
01:08:900 (1) - stack this to 01:08:505 (2) -
then
stack 01:09:097 (2) - to 01:08:308 (1) -
and move the stream somewhere else
thats the biggest change I think I've said so its fine if you dont apply it :)
01:16:005 (1) - maybe increase the slider velocity for this section since the song is getting more intense
01:19:952 (3,4,5,6,1) - spacing here could be bigger since section is more intense
01:28:439 (6) - maybe make this a kickslider up to you since I get a "kick" feeling here idk
01:31:400 (5) - make these kinds of stack more consistent throughput the whole diff
01:33:571 (2,2) - stack these the same as the 1's

dont forget tags

for insane make sure you check your spacing emphasis
its 5am rn so I'mma stop there
good luck~~

Hi

[Easy]
00:23:900 (3,4) move left for better flow

[Normal]
01:08:900 (2,3) you should have a difference of 5 ticks, but they are a bit far that appears a little distance for 6 ticks

[Hard]
00:12:847 (1,2) - 00:19:952 (3,4) - 00:29:426 (3,4) - 00:31:005 (3,4) - 00:43:637 (3,4) - 01:26:268 (3,4) make them look like?
01:08:308 (1,2) still normal the distance as the difference between the big ticks, but why then are 01:08:900 too far?!?

if not helped - don't give Kudosu

Heya! Super late short NM from my queue~

I'm still very inexperienced so take everything I say from a very subjective point of view.

[General]
  1. Only the Spicy Napolitan diff is hitsounded. You can use this hitsound copier to copy the hitsounds to the other difficulties.
You'll have to check if anything got missed though.
  2. The first green timing point in the Easy and Normal diff is unnecessary since it doesn't change anything compared to the first red timing point.
  3. I'm probably wrong here but the timing feels a tad delayed. Maybe try changing the offset to 208 or ask around for a timing check.
[Normal]
  1. I feel like this difficulty uses pretty much the same rhythm from start to finish. I know the difficulty is very limiting but you could try using some return sliders for variety.
For example you can already start off with something like this at 00:19:163 - , taking the vocals into account.
[Hard]
  1. 00:37:715 (4) - Debatable but I think this would be better if you CTRL+G it. Right now it presents a pretty big jump for a Hard difficulty and it would flow better if it got flipped.
Alternatively you could swap it with 2 circles that might emphasize the short drum buildup and the stops in vocals better.
  2. 01:00:610 (2) - Same goes for this. There's nothing in the song here that really calls for a larger jump like this.
CTRL+G on this would improve the flow and stay consistent with the spacing on the other similar sections of the map.
  3. 01:02:189 (3,4) - You could emphasize the claps better here by turning 3 into a return slider and 4 into 2 circle jumps, like this example.
[Insane]
  1. 00:06:926 (2,3) - I'd suggest swapping these two. 00:06:531 (1,2) - This jump can be pretty sharp and uncomfortable especially at the start.
Swapping them would lead into a more circular flow which goes with how you mapped the rest of that section.
  2. 00:20:939 (2,3) - The spacing here is pretty tight, considering there's also a strong sound on 00:21:137 (3) - that could be better emphasized with larger spacing.
You could try moving 00:20:939 (2) - a bit further away so you don't break this blanket 00:21:137 (3,5) -
  3. 00:48:965 (4) - There's no actual sound here so this feels unnecessary. Maybe remove this circle to make a short pause.

I'd like to add that the spacing on jumps in Insane and Spicy Napolitan diffs felt a bit random on some parts. I know it's mostly in order to make better looking patterns but I think emphasizing the kicks/snares with larger/smaller spacing could improve them a lot too.

I hope this was somewhat heplful, good luck~

You can use this hitsound copier to copy the hitsounds to the other difficulties. fixed
