let me give some tiny advice (not a typical mod)
In insane diff
I saw you stack notes in one direction only , from upper left to lower right which is okay in some part
01:40:400

00:04:039 - but if the flow is from lower right to upper left like:

i think it will be better if it look like this:

Note:
This technique is not that impactful within the map but it is used by others.
However, this is not very necessary, its for aesthetic purposes only.
It is up to you to apply it , if you like the idea. 8-)
But I do this thing in some map I create

I believe this technique is applied by pishifat in one his map which I can't remember which (maybe a graveyarded map)

Ooh, interesting. I never really thought about that. I just let the osu editor stack it by default. Thanks, I'll definitely take a closer look at this later!

Yup, I discovered this concept from this forum: https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/p/882932 and it is like around 2011

Hey, random mod coming through, feel free to reject my mods considering I haven't modded standard in a while.

Insane
00:14:817 (5,1) - blanket seems too tight
00:29:173 (3,4,5,6,1) - try increasing the spacing gradually
00:32:486 (5) - for example this slider, vocal with 2 vowels, maybe change the curve to the point where the 2nd vowel starts? (happens in others places of the map too)
00:38:008 (3) - I would change this up, so the loudest noise in the slider isn't on a tick that has no input
00:42:425 (3) - again, slider ending on a louder sound (ive noticed it happens multiple times in the map so I'm not going to point out any more, i would recommend avoiding that, not sure if there is a rule about this, but it has been pointed out to me before by other mappers), i suppose youre mapping it to the tone change in vocals, which I suppose justifies it, but if this 00:41:873 (1,2) - is mapped on drums then i think the rest should follow it and not change to vocals
00:58:621 (3,4) - I wouldn't stack this, or atleast increase the distance between the note and the slider by a tiny bit for the piano influenced kick drums, same with this 01:00:093 (2,3) - maybe i missed some, but it seemed to me like you placed them like this if they both started at the same/very similar sound, which doesn't seem the case here to my ear atleast (I hear the piano more)
01:51:903 (2,2,2) - I think a double would work for these better as the end and beginning of the slider are very distinctive sounds and also its right after a slider so i think this might even play better, i would consider changing the pattern up a bit too if you decide to put them in (maybe the distances or the entire direction of it)
02:01:198 (5) - id finish this as a stream instead of a slider, I wouldnt worry about it being too long or something, youve already put some like this in :p
02:02:578 (5) - add a circle and move 02:02:670 (1) - closer to make it a double
02:04:879 (1,2,3) - id make this angle a bit wider to fit the slider coming up (same with this 00:51:259 (1,2,3) - )
02:10:952 (4,5,6,1) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8806230 what about making it like this?

Closing thoughts : I would prefer if there were less longer sliders on instruments and they were represented with circles instead (mainly towards the end), I can understand the vocals though.
Overall it's a nice aesthetically pleasing map and a great song, sorry for the short mod but I hope it inspires you or helps with your map!
I've kind of wanted this to be a bit of a guideline for you to revisit the objects I brought up and see if you find stuff to change.
e: one more thing, I feel like AR8,8 could fit this map a bit more, up to you!

good luck~

Insane (9/11)
00:14:817 (5,1) - blanket seems too tight Replaced blanket with looser one.
00:29:173 (3,4,5,6,1) - try increasing the spacing gradually Done.
00:32:486 (5) - for example this slider, vocal with 2 vowels, maybe change the curve to the point where the 2nd vowel starts? (happens in others places of the map too) Done. Will be looking at rest of map for other instances.
00:38:008 (3) - I would change this up, so the loudest noise in the slider isn't on a tick that has no input Remapped and edited hitsounds.
00:42:425 (3) - again, slider ending on a louder sound (ive noticed it happens multiple times in the map so I'm not going to point out any more, i would recommend avoiding that, not sure if there is a rule about this, but it has been pointed out to me before by other mappers), i suppose youre mapping it to the tone change in vocals, which I suppose justifies it, but if this 00:41:873 (1,2) - is mapped on drums then i think the rest should follow it and not change to vocals I chose to map the very long vocal in parts rather than one slider. Along with that also mapping to the hitsounded snares at that part. Arranged the objects so the sliders hit on the drums.
00:58:621 (3,4) - I wouldn't stack this, or atleast increase the distance between the note and the slider by a tiny bit for the piano influenced kick drums, same with this 01:00:093 (2,3) - maybe i missed some, but it seemed to me like you placed them like this if they both started at the same/very similar sound, which doesn't seem the case here to my ear atleast (I hear the piano more) I want to stay consistent with how I've mapped the kick drums throughout the entire song. I'll look over this to see if I could adjust it but it's staying for now.
01:51:903 (2,2,2) - I think a double would work for these better as the end and beginning of the slider are very distinctive sounds and also its right after a slider so i think this might even play better, i would consider changing the pattern up a bit too if you decide to put them in (maybe the distances or the entire direction of it) Originally they were doubles but changed to sliders for easy readability considering the difficulty. I like them being sliders. Adjusted pattern!
02:01:198 (5) - id finish this as a stream instead of a slider, I wouldnt worry about it being too long or something, youve already put some like this in :p Slider is to represent the ends of the vocal with the circles being the snare drums. I like this pattern as it does two jobs and the snares are accented a because of the change in object (slider). If it was a stream then the snare wouldn't feel/sound as powerful.
02:02:578 (5) - add a circle and move 02:02:670 (1) - closer to make it a double I think that's the wrong timestamp but fixed!
02:04:879 (1,2,3) - id make this angle a bit wider to fit the slider coming up (same with this 00:51:259 (1,2,3) - ) Done for both.
02:10:952 (4,5,6,1) - https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8806230 what about making it like this? I like this. Done.

Closing thoughts : I would prefer if there were less longer sliders on instruments and they were represented with circles instead (mainly towards the end), I can understand the vocals though. I will continue to look at the map to see if I can fine tune anything else.
Overall it's a nice aesthetically pleasing map and a great song, sorry for the short mod but I hope it inspires you or helps with your map!

good luck~

hello! i found your map now more interesting than before, so i'm interested in modding it :D

Insane

first and formost, i wanna said that for me the biggest issue is that you're not putting emphasis on stronger beats, you could do that by increasing the spacing
and also some of your greenline is unsnapped like 00:49:050 - this one
with that said here goes

00:00:462 - feels underwhelming if you don't put something
00:03:958 (4,5,6) - this part feels untidy due to the overlap with 00:03:038 (5) -
00:12:425 (1) - 00:12:057 (6) - mirroring (6) can make the map a lot cleaner and flows nice too :) smth like this you can do it to right or left up to you.
00:22:179 - you should make this clickable tbh
00:27:701 (1,2,3,4,5) - this doesn't flow well with the prev note :(
00:28:437 (1) - see like you put proper emphasis on here, but not on the previous part.
00:29:725 (6,1) - screenshot you could do this to put emphasis on the peak of the instrument and the next one
00:33:038 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this jump feels kinda random to me, how about you make it more structured?
00:35:799 (3,4) - how about u switched this two, (3) being the slider and yeah
00:50:155 (6) - you could parallel this again so it looks cleaner
00:53:284 (5) - you could extend this into a 1/1 so it covers up the vocal
00:55:308 (6,7) - CTRL + G this two (for the rhythm)
00:57:517 - kinda a better rhythm
01:02:118 (5) - this is ugly lmao
01:03:590 (1) - i found the lack of spacing emphasis on this is tilting XD
01:07:087 (5) - just make it straight, that tilt isn't pretty
01:09:480 (1) - don't undermap this T_T
01:16:842 (4,5,6) - 01:24:388 (1,4) - fix blanket with these 2, also (2) make ugly overlap with the slider
01:25:492 (5) - not well shaped slider T_T
01:32:854 (6) - you should make this a slider to catch that short buildup
01:44:449 - use a 1/1 to cover up the vocal
01:56:044 (4) - this could be cool if you CTRL+G this
01:59:357 (8) - need to be clickable, i will switch that with (7) if i were you
02:01:198 (5) - this slider need to start here 02:01:014 -
02:01:842 - remove this, the triplet doesn't fit imo
since the second kiai is p similiar, just take note of what i suggest on the first one and apply that to this one.
02:34:511 (8) - this slider start here and add a circle to the prev part (also shorten the slider into a 1/1)
02:52:547 (3,4) - this two at least for me, i would change that into reverses. and their position is awkward
03:46:658 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - lmao this is overkill
03:57:149 (9) - i think a short slider would fit more appropiately rather than fast slider.

good luck, i have a lot of hope on this set :D

first and formost, i wanna said that for me the biggest issue is that you're not putting emphasis on stronger beats, you could do that by increasing the spacing
and also some of your greenline is unsnapped like 00:49:050 - this one snapped to 1/8 cause why not?
with that said here goes

00:00:462 - feels underwhelming if you don't put something I wanted all the diffs to start at the same place. :( Will continue to consider.
00:03:958 (4,5,6) - this part feels untidy due to the overlap with 00:03:038 (5) Fixed.
00:12:425 (1) - 00:12:057 (6) - mirroring (6) can make the map a lot cleaner and flows nice too :) smth like this you can do it to right or left up to you. I like it. Using this.
00:22:179 - you should make this clickable tbh I like the slider here and I didn't want to add another circle so close to the double kick drum hitsound for 00:22:363 (1,2).
00:27:701 (1,2,3,4,5) - this doesn't flow well with the prev note :( Fixed.
00:28:437 (1) - see like you put proper emphasis on here, but not on the previous part.
00:29:725 (6,1) - screenshot you could do this to put emphasis on the peak of the instrument and the next one Changed with a similar pattern.
00:33:038 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - this jump feels kinda random to me, how about you make it more structured? Fixed.
00:35:799 (3,4) - how about u switched this two, (3) being the slider and yeah Fixed.
00:50:155 (6) - you could parallel this again so it looks cleaner Kept pattern since I like it but made it cleaner.
00:53:284 (5) - you could extend this into a 1/1 so it covers up the vocal I wanted to map the two circles on the piano hits that happen at that point. Same pattern in the 2nd chorus as well for same reason.
00:55:308 (6,7) - CTRL + G this two (for the rhythm) Ongoing theme in the map is the double kick drum being mapped as a circle slider stack. Going to keep for now.
00:57:517 - kinda a better rhythm Fixed.
01:02:118 (5) - this is ugly lmao Fixed. :(
01:03:590 (1) - i found the lack of spacing emphasis on this is tilting XD Increased spacing!
01:07:087 (5) - just make it straight, that tilt isn't pretty Made it mirror the the next slider.
01:09:480 (1) - don't undermap this T_T Made it same pattern as earlier pattern.
01:16:842 (4,5,6) - 01:24:388 (1,4) - fix blanket with these 2, also (2) make ugly overlap with the slider Fixed.
01:25:492 (5) - not well shaped slider T_T Changed slider shape.
01:32:854 (6) - you should make this a slider to catch that short buildup Conflicts with the established kick drum pattern. Keeping for now.
01:44:449 - use a 1/1 to cover up the vocal Conflicts with the established kick drum pattern. Keeping for now. It appears elsewhere in the map too: 00:30:277 (2,3,4)
01:56:044 (4) - this could be cool if you CTRL+G this I like it. Changed.
01:59:357 (8) - need to be clickable, i will switch that with (7) if i were you I like it. Changed.
02:01:198 (5) - this slider need to start here 02:01:014 -
02:01:842 - remove this, the triplet doesn't fit imo I wanted to map the drum rolls at this part.
since the second kiai is p similiar, just take note of what i suggest on the first one and apply that to this one.
02:34:511 (8) - this slider start here and add a circle to the prev part (also shorten the slider into a 1/1) I have no clue what you're talking about but fixed?
02:52:547 (3,4) - this two at least for me, i would change that into reverses. and their position is awkward Changed and fixed.
03:46:658 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - lmao this is overkill How so? I wanted to map the snare roll here. Keep for now.
03:57:149 (9) - i think a short slider would fit more appropiately rather than fast slider. color=#00BF00]Changed.[/color]

good luck, i have a lot of hope on this set :D Me too, thanks for the mod fam.

hello there, just passing by

timing seems a bit off sometimes

top diff

ctrl+a try to use the corners a bit more, it's a 4 minute map, so why not use them a bit?

00:03:682 - no need to ignore the 1/4

00:12:977 (5,6,7) - the fuck is that stack, fix it lmao

00:18:866 (3,4) - could make this a 1/1 slider instead to emphasize voice a bit more

00:21:811 (7) - would be better as a 1/2 slider since the singer doesn't stop like she does 00:20:339 (3) - here for example

00:22:363 - no need to ignore this

00:26:044 (3) - this slider... is not very good, since it covers 3 beats, but only has one of them actually provide reasonable feedback; so changing it to circles would fit a lot better (also NC this)

00:38:652 (8) - this note doesn't exist

00:51:811 (4,1) - dunno what happened here, making 00:51:811 (4) - a 1/1 slider would fit better + NC it

00:54:020 (3) - would be nicer as 2 circles, as 1/4 doesn't exist here + 00:54:204 - has a strong vocal on it, so making it clickable would be more intuitive

00:56:596 (2,3,4,5,6) - you could just have this entire section as circles only, since every beat has a strong vocal on it

01:21:075 (5) - might just be me, but I'm sure you can make a more visually pleasing shape than this

01:32:854 (8) - same as before, a 1/2 slider would emphasize the vocal better imo

01:36:903 (5,1) - same as mentioned for 00:18:866 (3,4) -

02:03:590 (5,6) - why is the climax of the buildup spaced the least

02:05:431 (4,1) - what I mentioned before

02:28:437 (5,6,7,8) - dude where did these anti jumps come from, the previous kiai you had jumps, this is super easy to misread because of that; sticking to jumps would be more consistent; it also fits better imo

02:37:087 (2,3,4,5) - this really doesn't have to be that spaced

02:54:848 (3) - doesn't exist

02:55:952 - you have a strong beat here, having a reverse slider covering that tick should be good

03:08:928 (1,2,3,4) - pretty sure all of this is 1/3, ignoring the drums feels kinda wrong here so, just map it as 1/3 repeat sliders

03:13:345 (1) - could just leave this empty, there isn't really a reason for a spinner

03:32:302 (7,1) - the flow here is a little uncomfortable, you have this up and down motion and then you go into the slider, but it doesn't continue that motion, going to the right instead

@Mordred Timing was a bit of an issue with this song, I've consulted a couple of different people with the timing and this is what has been deemed appropriate. However, you are not the first person to mention this, while some had no problems with the timing, I will continue to get feedback and try to get the timing perfect.

ctrl+a try to use the corners a bit more, it's a 4 minute map, so why not use them a bit? I'll see where that could be appropriate. thanks.

00:03:682 - no need to ignore the 1/4 I don't see why it's necessary here, it's the intro so the rhythm can be a little lighter

00:12:977 (5,6,7) - the fuck is that stack, fix it lmao Ok

00:18:866 (3,4) - could make this a 1/1 slider instead to emphasize voice a bit more I don't think it's necessary, plus makes the movement a little too slow and slider heavy

00:21:811 (7) - would be better as a 1/2 slider since the singer doesn't stop like she does 00:20:339 (3) - here for example Ok

00:22:363 - no need to ignore this Ok

00:26:044 (3) - this slider... is not very good, since it covers 3 beats, but only has one of them actually provide reasonable feedback; so changing it to circles would fit a lot better (also NC this) Revised

00:38:652 (8) - this note doesn't exist Revised also

00:51:811 (4,1) - dunno what happened here, making 00:51:811 (4) - a 1/1 slider would fit better + NC it I think ignoring the strong beat would be a bad idea in this case because it's the start of the kiai

00:54:020 (3) - would be nicer as 2 circles, as 1/4 doesn't exist here + 00:54:204 - has a strong vocal on it, so making it clickable would be more intuitive Changed to a triple

00:56:596 (2,3,4,5,6) - you could just have this entire section as circles only, since every beat has a strong vocal on it don't think that's necessary

01:21:075 (5) - might just be me, but I'm sure you can make a more visually pleasing shape than this tried to make it more pleasing [?]

01:32:854 (8) - same as before, a 1/2 slider would emphasize the vocal better imo I think a circle fits better, gives the player more time to aim for the next section of notes.

01:36:903 (5,1) - same as mentioned for 00:18:866 (3,4) - I like this as it is

02:03:590 (5,6) - why is the climax of the buildup spaced the least  increased spacing

02:05:431 (4,1) - what I mentioned before keeping this as mentioned before

02:28:437 (5,6,7,8) - dude where did these anti jumps come from, the previous kiai you had jumps, this is super easy to misread because of that; sticking to jumps would be more consistent; it also fits better imo I'll separate the first note. other than it's completely fine and the testplays all proved that this is readable.

02:37:087 (2,3,4,5) - this really doesn't have to be that spaced It's fine

02:54:848 (3) - doesn't exist one extra note won't hurt

02:55:952 - you have a strong beat here, having a reverse slider covering that tick should be good
it sounds right, but it would break consistency with the other sections

03:08:928 (1,2,3,4) - pretty sure all of this is 1/3, ignoring the drums feels kinda wrong here so, just map it as 1/3 repeat sliders Fixed to 1/3

03:13:345 (1) - could just leave this empty, there isn't really a reason for a spinner I put a spinner cuz some reason the timing feels weird,
and I don't want to just leave it empty..

03:32:302 (7,1) - the flow here is a little uncomfortable, you have this up and down motion and then you go into the slider, but it doesn't continue that motion, going to the right instead Redirected the angle on the slider
thanks!

@Mordred.
I'm sorry? Where in my response am I displaying a bad attitude? I appreciated your feedback (said thanks), made adjustments where I felt necessary and justified ones where I believed they weren't. I don't perceive any of my response as having a connotation of a bad attitude, but I apologise if I made you feel like my comments were standoffish.

No drama here, please. Again, thanks!! :)

  1. 00:02:486 (4) - This blanket looks a little off to me. Idk
  2. 00:03:038 (6) - this blanket is also a little off. If you adjust the shape, also consider moving 00:03:774 (1,2) - a bit farther to even up the spacing
  3. 00:06:995 (6) - Don't think this is an issue (I think it's fine personally) but this note isn't mapped to anything: there's a break in the piano run
  4. 00:26:228 (3,4) - Nitpicky but these aren't really mapped to any major parts, maybe try incorporating the guitar part?
  5. 00:29:541 (6) - Might have missed others before, but I'll mark em now, I think NC should be here instead because it falls on a vocal hit rather than nothing
  6. 00:30:646 (5) - If you do the NC like I suggested above the next one could go here
  7. 00:30:646 (5,6,1) - Since tthese play like a string might be a good idea to make the spacing consistent between them
  8. 00:32:486 (6) - NC like above pattern
  9. 00:33:406 (5) - Then another NC here if you want
  10. 01:03:590 (1) - Maybe blanket this a bit better with 01:03:038 (8) -
  11. 01:22:179 (2) - Consider changing this slider to this to make the curve smoother
  12. 01:25:860 (1,2) - Same as above for these two sliders, putting the anchor in the middle might make it smoother
  13. 01:40:768 (2,3,4) - The spacing of these three is a bit misleading, not a huge issue though
  14. 01:41:136 (5) - The curvature of this slider in this pattern is sort of ugly, maybe just make it straight because the curve goes against the direction of the following stream
  15. 01:52:179 (1) - Minor aesthetic thing but angle this slightly to match the direction of flow when you're coming in from the previous note. Basically line them up
  16. 02:08:376 (1) - Maybe flip this horizontally so that you have it flow into the next note and kinda blanket
  17. 02:18:498 (5) - Move the anchor to the middle; just in general I think it's better to have the anchor in the middle so you get the smoothest possible curve
  18. 02:31:382 (4) - Maybe make this match a bit more with the slider before it so it looks a bit better. Sorta ugly as is imo
  19. 02:35:063 (1) - This blanket feels a bit off, consider changing
  20. 02:51:259 (1) - This blanket is a tiny bit off, the bottom should curve up a little more
  21. 03:01:198 (7) - Missed opportunity to blanket or line up for better flow, not necessary tho
  22. 03:10:400 (1) - Maybe change to this so it looks a little cleaner at the top
  23. 03:16:106 (1) - Blanket this
  24. 03:30:646 (6,1) - Maybe blanket these two a bit more
  25. 03:43:897 (1,1) - These can blanket a bit better
  26. 03:48:314 (6) - I sort of feel like this should be a slider because it matches the instrumental note better than a drum hit
  27. 03:51:259 (6) - Same as above, I suggest doing it like 03:50:707 (4) - where the slider matches the instrumental perfectly
Pretty good map, good flow and good patterns on the jumps. Just watch out for the missed blankets and small aesthetic stuff. I have high hopes for this mapset! Good luck in the future!

It's "recommended" not mandatory. I'll look into this a bit more, think of the people playing at 1080p! :((

Distance snap is allowed to be unlocked in this difficulty, kept to a minimum of course, and so I wanted to emphasize these parts a little bit by varying the spacing a bit. I don't think it is too challenging to play given the low bpm and easy readability of the jumps.
That's it.
Thank you for the mods and spotting the kiai.

  4. 00:26:228 (3,4) - Nitpicky but these aren't really mapped to any major parts, maybe try incorporating the guitar part? Changed these to circles to emphasize guitar a bit more
  5. 00:29:541 (6) - Might have missed others before, but I'll mark em now, I think NC should be here instead because it falls on a vocal hit rather than nothing I think for simplicity sake, it's better to keep them on the downbeats

  12. 01:25:860 (1,2) - Same as above for these two sliders, putting the anchor in the middle might make it smoother Idk, I wanna keep these because I've been using mainly curvy sliders
  13. 01:40:768 (2,3,4) - The spacing of these three is a bit misleading, not a huge issue though Moved this closer to the slider
  14. 01:41:136 (5) - The curvature of this slider in this pattern is sort of ugly, maybe just make it straight because the curve goes against the direction of the following stream Changed to a straight slider as suggested
  15. 01:52:179 (1) - Minor aesthetic thing but angle this slightly to match the direction of flow when you're coming in from the previous note. Basically line them up Wasn't entirely sure of what you meant, but I did a ctrl h ctrl j if that sort of helped.
  16. 02:08:376 (1) - Maybe flip this horizontally so that you have it flow into the next note and kinda blanket It's on blanket with 02:07:455 (2) - , I think the Ctrl H on this would make the distance a bit too huge
  17. 02:18:498 (5) - Move the anchor to the middle; just in general I think it's better to have the anchor in the middle so you get the smoothest possible curve Thanks for the tip, done
  18. 02:31:382 (4) - Maybe make this match a bit more with the slider before it so it looks a bit better. Sorta ugly as is imo Fixed!
  19. 02:35:063 (1) - This blanket feels a bit off, consider changing I kind of wasn't going for a blanket here, cuz I wanted the slider to be flatter, but I positioned it more in the center.
  20. 02:51:259 (1) - This blanket is a tiny bit off, the bottom should curve up a little more Done
  21. 03:01:198 (7) - Missed opportunity to blanket or line up for better flow, not necessary tho Fixed
  22. 03:10:400 (1) - Maybe change to this so it looks a little cleaner at the top I can't really see what the difference is lol
