¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Modding from my queue ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • [General]
  1. This song has pauses that deviate from the main melody. For example, at places like 00:30:610 -, 00:31:690 - 00:43:570 -. It can be better to just not map these parts or cover with sliderends.
  2. Love how neat and flowy your maps are c:
  3. Turn off widescreen support if you are not doing storyboard

If stacks are used, Stack Leniency must be set high enough for 1/1 hit objects to stack. Directly overlapping hit objects cause reading problems for new players.
  4. Yeah so change the stack leniency :P
  5. 00:06:250 (2,1) –unstack? You aren’t stacking in other places, so this looks out of place.

    [Hard]

    Ranking Criteria for Hard wrote:

  6. Change the stack leniency XD
  7. 00:01:930 (3) - this looks slightly misaligned, so I would move it to 235,250
  8. 00:14:530 (2,3,4) –the rhythm here felt weird because of inconsistent rhythm representation and slider placement. For example, 00:14:170 – and 00:15:010 – are the same rhytms, so I would use a ½ reverse slider 00:15:010 - . For 00:14:890 (3) – the sound at the tail is more significant. So…use something like this rhythm? https://puu.sh/wDhjI.png
  9. 00:22:450 (3) – 00:53:290 (5,1) - I get your intention, but these overlaps don’t look good :’(
  10. 00:30:490 (1) –this slider here doesn’t fit because a new sort of music starts at 00:30:970 -. I would end the slider at 00:30:610 - and then map something out from 00:30:970 -.
  11. 00:43:450 (3) – Having a long slider makes it seems like there is a continuous music, which is not happening here. There is a pause from 00:43:570 – to 00:43:930 - . Try this rhythm? https://puu.sh/wDhNi.png
  12. 00:46:570 (4) – similar issue as above. Pause starts from 00:46:690 -, then new sort of music starts at 00:46:810 -. For clearer representation, try this rhythm? https://puu.sh/wDhUa.png
  13. 00:48:250 –The vocal is strong here, so I would map this part out too :o
  14. 00:56:290 (1,2) –fix symmetry.
  15. 01:01:210 (1) –add jump?

    [Insane]
  16. 01:01:210 (1) –add jump?

    [Extra]
  17. 00:27:130 (2) –NC?
  18. 00:48:010 - You use sliders in Party Hard and Hard difficulty, but not the rest. I would make this uniform.
  19. 01:00:490 (2,3,1,2,3,4,5) –Great pattern!! The jumps are at places that need emphasis, like 01:01:210 (5) - c:

    [P a r t y H a r d]
  20. 00:01:450 (1,2) –I would put more spacing emphasis on (1) than on (2)
  21. 00:03:010 (6) –I don’t think it’s suitable to put a jump here. Maybe move to a place like 325,33?
  22. 00:50:530 (3) – This sounds not on the beat, maybe because it’s 1/6 in this section. Like on 00:50:450 - and 00:50:570 –
  23. 01:02:170 – use a spinner that ends at 01:05:650 - ? It will bring more variance to the scores. Same goes for other difficulties.
  24. 00:51:010 (5,6,7) –Make DS consistent? They sound the same, and I don’t see a reason to use smaller spacing at 00:51:130 (6,7) -.

Good luck :D
Affirmation
Q

[PARTY]
00:32:890 (3) - ctrl G?
01:01:210 (5) - NC here.

[EX]
00:17:050 (3,1) - stack can be neat .
00:48:010 (1) - Felt little bit weird. music is going now, but you cut the music's express,
01:01:210 (5) - same as party diff

m4m, sorry it's a bit late

really hard to listen to this song repeatedly during a modding session due to how much of it is just noise =w=;

[General]
  1. what do ponies have to do with the song, just because it was featured in a youtube poop video doesn't really mean it has anything to do with the song
  2. still need a diff under 2 stars according to ranking criteria rules
[NORMAL]
  1. 00:17:770 (3,4) - awkward rhythming choice. the offbeat synth sounds aren't the main emphasis of the music here, and for beginners they're more likely to be paying more attention to the main synth sounds that land on the white ticks
[HARD]
  1. 00:09:250 (4,1) - again, awkward rhythm choice. downbeat here is pretty emphasized so i think it should be clickable. maybe try something like this
  2. 00:16:090 (1,2,3,4) - i understand that there are heavy kicks here in the music, but it feels really undermapped compared to the section before it, which is literally the same main melody as this section. also applies to INSANE, EXTRA, and PARTY HARD
[INSANE]
  1. 00:06:970 (3,4,5) - use a 1/4 repeat slider instead; i doubt anybody going into a 4.23 insane is going to be able to expecting 250 bpm triples; it's asking for too much for this target audience
  2. 00:08:890 (2,3,4) - 00:10:810 (2,3,4) - ^really think you should reconsider the 1/4 triples
[EXTRA]
  1. 00:42:370 (2) - could probably use a more interesting shape to show off the buzzing in the vocals
  2. 00:45:250 (3,4) - not a big fan of this movement pattern; sudden conversion of mostly vertical movement to mostly horizontal movement here feels a bit awkward to me
[PARTY HARD]
  1. 00:06:130 (2,1) - why the 1/2 stack? i feel that it kills the pacing and momentum of the map.
  2. 00:08:890 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:09:370 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:10:330 (4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4) - sounds and feels heavily overmapped; there's nothing in the music here that really suggests streams
  3. 00:17:890 - 00:17:950 - 00:18:010 - no triple here?
sorry if the mod seems kind of lacklustre. the song was seriously giving me a headache every time i listened to it =w=;;

  2. still need a diff under 2 stars according to ranking criteria rules the Normal now have 2 stars, and the ponies is fine for me since mestre3224 is a pooper and have used mlp source lot of times, and for me Vinyl is a good simbol for this song ^^
[NORMAL]
  1. 00:17:770 (3,4) - awkward rhythming choice. the offbeat synth sounds aren't the main emphasis of the music here, and for beginners they're more likely to be paying more attention to the main synth sounds that land on the white ticks yeah but in this moment i fhink i'm correctly following the mainly songs, and is the same in the other diffs

[HARD]
  1. 00:09:250 (4,1) - again, awkward rhythm choice. downbeat here is pretty emphasized so i think it should be clickable. maybe try something like this Fixed but in a different way

[INSANE]
  1. 00:06:970 (3,4,5) - use a 1/4 repeat slider instead; i doubt anybody going into a 4.23 insane is going to be able to expecting 250 bpm triples; it's asking for too much for this target audience i'll remove all 1/4 for the INSANE, looks better for me
  2. 00:08:890 (2,3,4) - 00:10:810 (2,3,4) - ^really think you should reconsider the 1/4 triples
[EXTRA]

  2. 00:45:250 (3,4) - not a big fan of this movement pattern; sudden conversion of mostly vertical movement to mostly horizontal movement here feels a bit awkward to me nah i think is fine
[PARTY HARD]
  1. 00:06:130 (2,1) - why the 1/2 stack? i feel that it kills the pacing and momentum of the map. fixed
  2. 00:08:890 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:09:370 (1,2,3,4,5) - 00:10:330 (4,5,6,7,1,2,3,4) - sounds and feels heavily overmapped; there's nothing in the music here that really suggests streams the breakcore is fine for me
  3. 00:17:890 - 00:17:950 - 00:18:010 - no triple here? dont know why need triples xD
sorry if the mod seems kind of lacklustre. the song was seriously giving me a headache every time i listened to it =w=;;
