Hi, i've been playing osu for quite a while now, and rn im at 138k rating with a lvl of 72. I am really looking forward in getting better in this game and trying to aim high, so i would really appreciate if you can give me some advices and i also need some maps to practice my jumps and aim ( or just any maps that can help me improve gradually) I can do maps from 4.3 to 5.2starts maps, and sometimes not all of them. I am using 2 fingers, but kin of weird. For example when there is just hit circles i can use either my big finger or point finger and single tap, for streaks i use both ( of course) and for jumps i use single tapping, but it is the same either big finger or point finger. So it is kind of a problem for me, cause my single tap speed isnt that great. I would appreciate if anyone of you can maybe do a multiplayer match with me or just like spectate me when i play and give me some advices in what im doing wrong and how to fix that problem with ma fingers. Also, i hold my mouse a bit weird. I dont hold it like most of the people, mine is something like claw/fingertip grip. I just hold my mouse only with tips of my fingers an my palm isn't touching the mouse. So i feel like it kind off make my accuracy shittier. Well anyway, i would really appriciate anyone's help! Feel free to add me, and pm me! :)

4.3 - 5.2 stars seems really high for your rank. Like, that's what i'm playing, and i'm having trouble FCing them. I'd recommend lowering the difficulty a bit and going for high accuracy FCs, rather than Bs and As on (relatively) high star maps.

What do BS FC AS stand for? I mean i usually get A and B on these maps, and lower difficulties are kind of boring and slow.

FC stands for Full Combo. This is when you complete a map with the maximum combo allowed.

As is just plural for A rank. Same with Bs, it's just plural for B rank.

If you find lower star maps to be too boring, then the only advice that I can give you is to Play More. The problem is that you might develop some bad habits by playing maps that are too fast / hard for you. If you don't care about that, though, and these are the only maps you find fun, then just keep playing them til you improve.

We probably use similar mouse grip. I just add palm to your grip to make easier some movements.

You aim high for what? Good rank, good skills, good fcing maps, good playing tech maps, good going for pass hardest maps, good playing Dt, hr, fl, hd, ez, nomod...
Be more specific to get more specific answers instead "play more".

Im aiming for good rank and good skils. I wanna get better at single tapping and getting my accuracy on point, and just improve in total.

Your top plays dont indicate that you should be playing 5* maps at all. Focus more on trying to FC in the 4.5* area.

My advices for your purpouse:
Good rank = play ranked maps aiming for full combo. Start working where you already can get FC and move from there increasing the * ratting where you can get FC. Work on the acc on these maps what you have already full combo, keeping playing them to increasse it. Use autoplay mod to understand well the rhythm and timming.
To work on singletap speed i used to play autopilot to be more focused on it and really focusing on the hitsound effects to don't get my fingers stucked.
Play overall maps what you can full combo on first try.
Keep playing maps what you can't fc but are similar * ratting where you already fc.
Work on hardest songs it's going to make you Improve too, but you're not going to win ranks that easy and the improvment would be less stable.
I think 2-3* it's a better place to work than 4'5*. The maps what you can fc right now around that area are mostly jumps what you can already "play" so better move on hardest patterns at 2-3* and not keep only playing easy "fast" patterns.

Test tons of new things.

The range of his maps is absolutely fine. Obviously he doesn't have any "good" top ranks since he's playing stuff that's very challenging for his level, meaning he will miss and rip FC / pp.

I think you are doing good. I had like 150~+ hours when I was your rank. Don't worry about FCs too much.
However, I think it's a good idea to play 4*-5,2* maps, since 4* would still be beneficial to play if you try your hardest to get extremely high acc on these. (Just to ensure you don't lose your ability to tap accurately simply because you're used to "go fast" all the time)

I got my first 2 100pp plays when I was 144k~ on 4,5*-5* maps (95~pp at 150k rank) so I don't know why people assume you shouldn't play these maps. Hard maps won't really teach you as much anymore at this point, I think your map-pool is perfect as it is.

If you want to actually get good and not just farm pp, look for maps other than TV Sizes.
Try to get a range of maps on (maybe) AR7, AR8 and variety on BPM. Jumpmaps, technical maps etc etc.

Some of the maps I frequently played at your level ( and still do )
Keep in mind to not play the 5*+ difficulties if you notice you don't really know what's going on on the map / start spamming it.
There's no point playing maps you can't remotely play yet. For maps like "Kokou no Sousei" you will, however, probably get rekt the first few times you play it. A lot of people I played with up to 30k had massive issues with it)

https://osu.ppy.sh/b/821336&m=0 (296BPM, really fun to play)

It's also a good idea to play DT on some 3* maps from time to time, especially if you struggle with speed / BPM. Since the patterns are very simple, you can purely focus on improving your accuracy, control and speed.
Don't get discouraged if you fail the 200+BPM maps. You're bound to do very badly on them if you never had experience with those kind of maps before.
As I said, I've seen people with twice your pp die on these, probably because they never bothered to move out of their comfort zone. Which is why (Imo) it's a good idea to face a variety of maps early on.

If you're an alternater though, maps like Kokou no Sousei will probably wreck you for months before you see improvement, with singletapping however I was able to get decent acc (97%-98%) on maps like "Kokou no Sousei" or "Call me it (500 tortures)" in a matter of around 2 weeks~

Just as important to play high BPMs is the ability to play lower ones, too. As I said, variety in everything is important. I don't have many low BPM maps, but I can guarantee you that atleast high BPM maps I put in there will be of help as long as you know what's going on there. (Maybe they'll still be too hard to begin with, in that case resort to DT 3* maps)

Don't try maps like "Asgard", vals "Dance Number" more than once per day, maybe once every 2-3 days, though. I feel like they've helped me get better, but you won't get any value out of playing them more than once every few days on your level, but its always a good idea to expose yourself to very challenging maps every once in a while, more challenging than "your average" 5* map.
4*-5* should make up the majority of your sessions. The 5,2*+ maps, I think, will make you better very fast for the little time that you'll spend playing them. (If you play all of these that's like 15min every day / every two days)

Buy a keyboard, osu! is pay2win :^)

just do 4.2-4.4*s ;/
trying to do 5*s now is just being too stubborn

I'd recommend you scrap all what you've learnt and start from 1*, it may look boring but one of the main reasons there is so many people stuck in their rank is because they never learn how to read, aim or tap properly and you are an incarnation of that. I'll give you the most basic guidelines:

-Make up your mind, you are either going to alternate or singletap, mixing both will make a mess of your finger control and will tense you up way too much. On jumps and sliders, you obviously stream with both fingers.
-Download all the beatmap packs you can. I'd recommend you start around beatmap pack 200ish or 300ish and work your way up, so you get a lot of maps.
-Reading is all. The way you read is you focus on one object at a time and when you have finished that object you move up to the next. If you can't get behind it try to sightread 1* maps with flashlight.
-Don't retry.

Literally the worst advice I've ever seen. Longer maps are better because you build consistency.

Consistency is not a skill, it's the result of an excess of skill. The only thing playing long maps will do is temper your nerves.

Idk, the more long maps you play, the less shitmisses you make. So it does build consistency in some way.
