Hi, from queue.
I’m only modding Kami’s Insane, the easy, normal and advanced since I was instructed to mod these.
You stacked quite a bit in this diff which isn’t wrong but some of the stacks can get quite problematic since it can get difficult to read the pattern. For example: 00:20:712 (3,1) - 00:21:555 (2,3) - 00:22:903 (2,3) – You didn’t stack this one though: 00:24:757 (3,1) – which is actually inconsistent but I like it more if it’s not stacked otherwise players might get confused about when they are supposed to click the object. Get more opinions on this.
There are other overlaps that I didn’t point out directly but I think you know where they are.
Good Luck~
I’m only modding Kami’s Insane, the easy, normal and advanced since I was instructed to mod these.
General:
- The filesize of the mapset is rather high (higher than 10mb) which is not advised. It’s mainly because of all the background images. Try to lower the size of them. I believe there are online tools for this.
- There are two soundfiles that have a delay apparently: normal-hitfinish.wav, normal-hitfinish10.wav, which is unrankable. I suggest replacing them with soundfiles that is fine.
Kami’s Insane:
- 01:28:423 –This green line is unnecessary. You can remove it.
- 00:02:678 (2,3,1) –A nice placement for this pattern would be like this:
It creates a blanket for aesthetics and also, I feel the current jump here: 00:02:678 (2,3) – is a bit too big. Decreasing the spacing would be better. - 00:05:881 (3) –Rather place this circle here: X:305 Y:345. Would make the flow from 00:05:881 (3) – to 00:06:218 (1) – nicer. Not that serious, but can still be an improvement.
- 00:06:723 (3,4) –I don’t understand the sudden jump here. It would have made more sense if these three objects: 00:06:723 (3,4,5) – were spaced out similarly. Having 00:07:060 (4) – as the only jump looks random since the vocals have the same intensity here too: 00:06:723 (3,5) – so it would be best to have their spacings the same.
- 00:07:398 (1,2,3) -^
- 00:08:577 (5) –Make the tail of this slider a bit more visible. Nearly more than half of the tail is hidden behind 00:08:072 (4) – which I don’t advise since it can cause readibility issues. Perhaps try this:
- 00:15:993 (2,3,4,5) –These spacings are different from 00:14:139 (1,2,3,4,5,6) – and 00:16:667 (2,3,4,5) – which looks inconsistent. Rather make the spacings similar since the music remains the same for all three sections.
- 00:21:049 (1,2) –I highly suggest increasing the spacing here. When comparing this spacings to the previous ones it looks too close to each other. Players might think they have to click it earlier. It doesn’t really look like a ½ spacing. Just increase the distance between them a bit. I also want to add that the music starts building up a bit here: 00:21:555 (2) – so a small jump will definitely fit in nicely to emphasize that.
- 00:31:667 (5,1) –Try increasing the spacing a bit here too to be consistent with these similar beats: 00:29:139 (1) - 00:30:487 (1) – There’s a strong beat on (1) so more spacing will place more emphasis on that. A jump should rather be placed here: 00:31:667 (5,1) – and not here: 00:31:330 (4,5) – since the beat on 00:31:836 (1) – is stronger.
- 00:32:510 (4,5) –The stack here looks out of place since you didn’t do it anywhere previously so it looks inconsistent. I suggest rather unstacking (5)
- 00:37:566 –There’s a beat here and I don’t advise leaving it empty. Either change 00:37:229 (1) – into a repeat slider or add a circle there to map that out.
noz’s Advanced:
- The “display storyboard in front of combo fire” shouldn’t be checked since there isn’t even a SB. It’s in the song setup.
- 00:27:117 (3,4) –Rather change these two circles into a slider to differentiate 00:27:117 (3,4) – from 00:27:791 (1,2) – since the vocals starts here: 00:27:791 (1) – So having two different patterns to show the difference would be good. Or you can change 00:27:791 (1,2) – into a slider.
- 00:35:038 (2,3) –Ctrl+G this pattern, so it looks like this instead:
It’ll follow the music/vocals more accurately. - 00:43:296 (3,4) –The flow from (3) to (4) isn’t the best since (4) is placed right behind the slider. Perhaps try something like this:
- 00:45:824 (2,3,1) –Make one of these sliders a bit curvy to prevent three completely straight objects after each other. It makes the pattern look a bit stiff.
- 01:09:589 (1) –Since this is quite an important beat, rather not stack it. For more emphasis on a strong beat like this, spacing would be better.
- 01:17:678 (1) -^

LKH’s Normal:
- The “display storyboard in front of combo fire” shouldn’t be checked since there isn’t even a SB. It’s in the song setup.
- 00:18:858 (5,1) –Rather make these two objects parallel to each other. It’ll look much neater. Like this:
- 00:28:971 –The beat here can be mapped out. It’ll fit in nicely for a Normal. You can either add a circle or change 00:29:139 (3) – into a short slider to catch that beat. Same here: 00:34:364 –
- 00:33:858 (2,3,4) –This flow can be improved. Like this:
Happy’s Easy:
- The “display storyboard in front of combo fire” shouldn’t be checked since there isn’t even a SB. It’s in the song setup.
- 00:00:150 (1,1) –Hmm, why do you have an overlap like this? It’s making me cringe a bit lol. Avoiding an overlap like this in Easy would be best imo.
- 00:06:218 (1,1) – Rather avoid this overlap too. It can look better if the overlap is avoided. Perhaps do something like this:
- 00:41:274 (1,2) – These two objects are touching each other slightly. Rather avoid this to make the pattern look neater.
- 00:45:319 (2,2) – There’s also a slight overlap here. Rather avoid it.
- 00:47:847 (1) – Remove new combo here because you added a new combo every second measure.
- 01:17:678 (1) -^
There are other overlaps that I didn’t point out directly but I think you know where they are.
Good Luck~
