ok thanks ÖkoratOkorin wrote:
anime im anime
im here for the minor spoiler bg as well as saying that as much as i like WIXOSS as a series lostorage was lol
thankfully you mapped the movie thing haven't watched the series yet thank
also you gave me my best kd to date meme
no kiai is the edge me 2
So let's start with the important things
Amount of P-style-sliders (non bezier sliders) per difficulty:Search for "P|" within each difficulty and fix accordingly done everything because Very important. k
- Extra: 11
- Insane: 0✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓✓
- Hard: 2
- Normal: 16
- Easy: 15
tilted text implies that these things actually tilt me

that you use ar 9.3 is kinda lol
the map looks old, feels old and uses decimals edgelord AR?
Patterning isn't dense enough in any place for me to understand this choice having the same ar as insane feels wrong otherwise pretty sure agreed, actually insane is mapped on ar8cool
- 00:31:641 (7,8) - spacing between those seems randomly big, i think if you had these two closer together while keeping the distance to the next slider the same, it would highlight the cymbal on it even more so changing this is like two birds with one stone sure thing
- 00:46:398 (1,2,1) - combo seems unreasonably short, even if you're combing by patterns okie :/
- 01:19:317 (4,2) - aesthetics overlap :/// 2003 year aes xd
- 01:48:668 (1) - i think moving this down to like y360 would give the cymbal way more of a crash feeling 360 is too much, moved this a little down though
- 02:23:046 (2) - you arent generally using red anchors so this one looks out of place aesthetically in its respective part you saved me
- 02:58:722 (1,2,3,4,1,2) - this feels kinda underwhelming for what the vocals are doing here, they're like building up but all the player has to do is click 1/1 with varying spacing for them, i feel like this doesn't do the vocals justice ikr but I somehow didn't feel to follow the vocals up at all.
- 03:37:317 (1,2,3,4,5) - 03:39:587 (4,5,6,7,8) - i don't get why you didn't go for the same streamspacing on both, this way the first stream looks and feels randomly more intense than the second one and the concept of spaced streams wasn't really introduced either so overall i'd suggest going with the same spacing as you have for 03:39:587 (4,5,6,7,8) - the music essentially isn't exactly same as far as my patterning is also different between them (so 03:37:641 (5,6,7,8) - is a square and 03:40:073 (1,2) - is a jump of two sliders) they are intended to be having various rhythms to emphasize different sound the song give, for example 03:40:073 (1,2) - there's somewhat sound that stands out over the vocals but 03:37:641 (5,6,7,8) -
- 03:48:019 (1,2) - is there anything special going on or why did you go for slidershapes that you didn't use in the entire map so far? brb asking myself from 1 year ago
- 03:34:398 (1,2,3,4) - nothing in the song here suggests that this should be this intense, to be frank i don't understand why you do this and would like you to explain this carefully lol n e r f e d
[insane][hard]
- 00:11:209 (1,2) - 03:54:502 (1,2) - could use some sort of special spacing??? the sounds on it aren't as generic as everywhere else but the pattern is which seems a bit unfitting ya
- 00:29:209 (8) - end should be clickable, it's especially off-throwing as a rhythm because you had 00:28:722 (6) - on the same melody and had them click that okie dokie
- 01:30:668 (1,1) - 01:31:641 (1) - this pattern looks kinda lol with this comboing i suggest removing the nc from the last timestamp haha this is lol like my life thanks
- 02:30:181 (1) - this is great I was brain dead at this moment
- 02:58:722 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4,5,6) - this also feels kinda underwhelming (see suggestion in extra) same
- 03:22:236 (2) - red anchor only slider looks out of place because nothing else is like it I was going to pretend to be a modern mapper
[normal]
- 00:29:209 (6) - end should be clickable (see insane for explanation) yez
- 00:32:452 (2,3) - would simplify because you don't really do 3/4 sliders else where so going for 1/2 sliders and more spacing would be preferred (if you do this, change 03:42:505 (3,1) - too) kinda prefer them as it is to have some variations in rhythm
- 01:19:803 (3,1) - spacing looks like 1/2, because you use it in some jumps like this, would either increase spacing or not have them visually as close done
- 01:29:695 (2) - would go for 1/1 slider because holding vocal seems more intuitive in this situation (01:46:073 (3,4) - works better imo) o
- 02:30:181 (1,2) - the thing you have in insane is amazing just saying it again hoping you use it here too :ok_hand:
- 02:37:154 (5,6,7) - sudden offbeat sliders feel incredibly awkward kk
- 03:08:776 (4) - only one repeat works better with the context of the map imo. because at most you have triples or other 1/4 sliders connecting to each other 01:37:641 (3) - this is one that perhaps similar case to here (or not even), I'd rather keep it to not skip the sound at blue tick.
could honestly ar 6 if you wanted to, newbs usually struggle less with reading anyways if things are at ar 6~7 let them struggle more then :^)that's my pleasure.anyway ar 6 on a normal is pretty much high to me.[easy]
- 01:16:398 (5,6) - would avoid overlapping majorp arts of short sliders, might pose unnecessary reading challenge for beginners nooo I want this to be one of the general patterns in lower diffs :<
if u increased ar on normal if u wanted to you can go to like ar 4 here
ok
