lol i thought this was easy, then i heard the first notes
General: you need kiai, song doesn't reflect notes, streams should be way larger in like most of the map and less crowded. Really not much I can give because it's just stream spam. I stopped pointing out things like the half circle quads because it's literally everywhere.
  • 00:07:353 (1,2,1,2,1,2) - the left side looks a little off compared to the right side.
  • 00:15:857 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - uhhh, no
  • 00:15:857 - are you sure the 4/4 starts here and not somewhere before?

  • 00:46:161 (5) - nc and make this sound stand out more

Ever since Maakkeli started mapping, Maakkeli always yearned to become the mightiest PP mapper there has ever been. Looking up to my inspirations Maakkeli started his journey in this cruel and cold mapping community. Maakkeli started by mapping some weeb trash music and some DnB but later came to the conclusion that mapping these genres would never bring him closer to his PP mapping goal. Maakkeli decided that mapping the music he honestly enjoyed would be the way to go.

Maakkeli's first big hit on the PP mapping scene was Waldschrein (521pp HDHR SS). It's rhythm was perfect for overspaced jumps and a few long streams. It was the ideal song for the biggest PP. In the end he realized that only 350pp for NoMod SS wasn't enough and started making his second project.

Maakkeli's second project was March of War / Axe of Judgement (635pp HR SS). The rhythms were decent for a PP map but in the end, Maakkeli failed to provide the maximum PP that song had to offer. The overall difficulty of the map ended up being too high whilst the SR was relatively low. The BPM is also a big factor in this one. He thinks this is one of the biggest failures in my PP mapping career and he particularly doesn't like to talk about it.

The map you were looking at before is called Tetrastructural Minds (514pp NoMod SS). Maakkeli originally submitted this as their first metal genre map and later around that time came to the conclusion that it just wasn't good enough for the ranked category back then and decided to grave it. It spent a good ~5 months being graved after Maakkeli decided to give it another go. He remapped it with the intention of it being the biggest PP he had yet to produce. It's rhythm was actually really bad for PP mapping due to it's complex guitar and drum patterns but in the end Maakkeli managed to make it quite farmable for the top players. This is his second greatest PP by far.

And now, you are looking at Ages Die (882pp NoMod SS).

Maakkeli still feels like they haven't achieved the grand goal they're striving for. There are still many great PP mapping foes ahead but they plan to take all of them down one by one. You just wait, he'll become the greatest PP mapper this game has ever seen!

Hp is pretty high, I mean even Promethean Kings was 5.5 and something this hard should be toned down a little since being able to keep your acc at the streams is highly unlikely; you'd lose your hp on the long streams and then during the slow parts fail rather than gain some hp..

03:10:534 (2) - should stack on 03:10:652 (3) - instead. 03:10:534 (2,3) - sounds more similar than 03:10:416 (1,2) plus
I think if you're going to space the stream out so much at 03:14:195 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,1) - it shouldn't go so far down because its crazy awkward to play

maybe you could give a little break at this downbeat? 05:03:329 (1,2,3,4) - I mean you did it before at 05:01:079 (1) - and it would give the player a kind of pattern to go off by since the next repeat slider is quite far away so it would kinda work to have them more often (not that anyone would survive at this point).

03:34:509 (3,4) - reverse arrow stuff is quite edgy visibilty wise here, seems easy to mistake 3 for a normal 1/4 slider and just sliderbreak, would make repeat more visible (or visible at all rather)
