Hey, from #modreq

Endless dead end

00:00:085 - timming point here

00:09:109 - it could fit better if you map vocals

00:07:890 (1) - cut this slider to the white line, otherwhise if you choose to not map vocals, extend it to the next white line

00:29:109 - i recommend to put a circle here, just for rythm
01:00:329 - ^

00:33:255 (1) - cut this to the white line

00:42:768 - here you miss a sound, if you cut this slider 00:42:768 - here and put a circle 00:43:012 - here it could be better

00:45:451 - map vocals?
00:52:036 - ^

00:55:573 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - try to fix this just for aesthetics
01:09:231 (4,5,6,7,8) - ^

00:59:414 (6,7,8) - i think this doesnt fit, its overmapped and this is an insane diff
01:15:024 (4,5,6,7) - ^

01:18:865 - miss a sound
01:18:987 - ^
01:30:816 - ^

01:03:499 (4) - here i would map how you did 01:09:841 (9,10,1) - here

01:31:060 (2) - a slider and a circle could fit better imo

01:31:670 - start a new spinner here maybe?

00:00:085 - timming point here doesn't really make any difference, also i took the mp3 and this offset from Tsukuyomi 's ranked set

00:09:109 - it could fit better if you map vocals i don't really agree with this. I don't really like sticking to these with absolutely no melody. also they kind of start slightly off beat

00:07:890 (1) - cut this slider to the white line, otherwhise if you choose to not map vocals, extend it to the next white line I don't get why i should extend it, currently it's supposed to stop about where the vocals kick in, but i might consider ending the slider on the previous white tick instead of the following one.

00:29:109 - i recommend to put a circle here, just for rythm there's absolutely no sound or anything there
01:00:329 - ^ added a 1/4th slider

00:33:255 (1) - cut this to the white line yeah

00:42:768 - here you miss a sound, if you cut this slider 00:42:768 - here and put a circle 00:43:012 - here it could be better done

00:45:451 - map vocals? same reasoning as above
00:52:036 - ^^

00:55:573 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - try to fix this just for aesthetics mind elaborating what you had in mind? I'll look into it
01:09:231 (4,5,6,7,8) - ^

00:59:414 (6,7,8) - i think this doesnt fit, its overmapped and this is an insane diff I'm not quite sure about these, i feel like they're kind of subjectively interpreted. if they really shouldn't be there I'll remove them
01:15:024 (4,5,6,7) - ^ ^

01:18:865 - miss a sound fixed
01:18:987 - ^ fixed
01:30:816 - ^ fixed

01:03:499 (4) - here i would map how you did 01:09:841 (9,10,1) - here tried something similar

01:31:060 (2) - a slider and a circle could fit better imo used 3 circles for active emphasis

01:31:670 - start a new spinner here maybe? added

Thank you for modding!!

Random noob mod from #modreqs o/

(A lot of these suggestions are subjective so don't take them at face value)

General

  1. You should change the dark blue combo color to something brighter. The way it is right now blends in with the dark background a bit too much, making it more difficult to read.
  2. Almost half of the map is in kiai (it doesn't have an end point either). You could end it at either 01:37:646 - or even better 01:23:987 -
  3. Why is the offset negative? Consider setting it to the first downbeat (big white tick) at 00:00:085 - (85ms)

  • I noticed a lot of this difficulty just uses the same spacing between all notes which play more like slow spaced streams rather than single notes (or fast singletapping for some people). This way you don't really emphasize the stronger beats in the song and can be generally less fun to play. I'll post some suggestions below.
  1. 00:02:890 (5,6,7,8) - This pattern could be changed to look better. You could try imitating the pattern you used here 00:00:938 (4,5,6,7) - since it follows the same melody.
  2. 00:06:426 (3,4,5,6) - The 4 and 5 being stacked while following the 1/4 rhythm force the player to suddenly stop before suddenly snapping again to 6 in a straight line, even though the melody at this point is constant. I suggest you move the stack on top of 6 and decrease the spacing between 3 & 6.
  3. 00:10:694 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - This is one case where you kept equal spacing that could be improved. There's a stronger kick on 5 and a snare on 9 so you could make the jumps between 4->5 and 8->9 bigger and keep the rest smaller.
  4. 00:12:646 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - Same thing here and 00:18:499 (4,5,6,7,8,9) - here (and more, you get the point now)
  5. 00:15:694 (1,2,3,4,1) - You could decrease the spacing a bit. The song doesn't change at all compared to 00:13:743 (1,2,1,1,2,1) -
  6. 00:20:085 (1) - I really suggest you shorten this slider. There's a strong beat at the slidertail so there should really be a clickable note there (especially considering it's followed by another series of singletaps).
    What I'd do

Basically shorten the slider by 1/4 and place a hitcircle on the downbeat
  7. 00:20:085 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - You could do the emphasis thing again. There's a stronger beat on the slidertail (or hitcircle if you applied the suggestion above) and on 5 (6 if you added hitcircle). Basically split 2-5 into one part and 6-9 into another.
  8. 00:49:597 (2,3,4,5,6) - Very subjective but this feels overmapped. There's almost no sound there so a kickslider buildup like that really feels out of place.
  9. 00:59:414 (6,7,8,9) - Placing these on 1/8 is a bit too much, it should be fine with a single note between the sliders on the blue tick. If you really want to keep it as a 1/8 stream, add a NC on 6 so the change from 1/4 to 1/8 is more apparent
  10. 01:15:024 (4,5,6,7) - Same here. Either change to 1/4 or add NC on 4
  11. 01:00:573 (1,2,3,4,5) - This pattern feels really weird even for singletapping.
  12. 01:31:792 (1,1,1) - The 3 spinners look really out of place since you could still map the stronger beats in the background. If nothing else, you could increase the gap between the spinner end and the next spinner start to half a beat.

You should consider getting more difficulties before looking for more mods~
I hope this mod was helpful and good luck!
