Yo, M4M from my queue that is somewhat good and not completely terrible.
[General]
  1. d = don & k = kat, Caps on either for a Finisher.
  2. This song actually doesn't hurt my ears too much, which is nice.
  3. Apologies in advance for any "this needs to be a k/K" nitpicks, we need more k in maps tbh.

[ Inner Oni]
  1. 00:29:997 (1,12,23,34) - Change to K, loud cymbal noises.
  2. 00:36:855 (45,51,57,63) - Change to K for same reason as above.
  3. 00:37:069 (46,47,48,49,50), (52,53,54,55,56), (58,59,60,61,62), (64,65,66,67,68) - Should you apply the change listed above you should certainly edit these to avoid a large monotone k section. Some recommendations for replacement are kkddk, kdkkd and kkdkd (kkddk sounds best but mix it up, like at 00:35:997 (39,40,41,42,43) you have dkkdk which I quite like).
  4. 00:40:283 (69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76) - Invert this so it goes K d K d etc. You have mapped the loud cymbal noises to D and the more lower tones noises to k, for w/e reason.
  5. 00:41:997 (77,78,79,80,81,82,83,84) - To be in line with previous suggestions you could change this to kdddkddd but honestly I'm fine with it.
  6. 00:42:855 (85,86,87) - Ctrl+G this section so the k lands on the cymbal rather than just after it.
  7. 00:43:569 (95) - Could change to d to fit the drilling 1/6 noise but it's fine for me really.
  8. 00:45:426 - 00:52:283 - Alright so this section is better towards the end but I find the most obvious noise at the start of this to follow a XXXX XX rhythm, so you could perhaps incorporate patterns like kddk dk in this section instead of having straight single-notes and triplets. This similar sound section also plays multiple times later so consider revising them in this way if you wish to do so.
  9. 00:48:426 (20) - Implying you don't make this a 4-plet like my above suggestion, change this note to d as the sound is identical to (21) which you have as d.
  10. 00:58:926 (87) - Change to k as tone is higher than that of (86) which you also have as k.
  11. 01:02:140 (20) - Same reason given as 00:48:426 (20).
  12. 01:10:283 (69,70,71,72,73) - Consider revising as the previous 5-plet (63,64,65,66,67) is entirely lower tone yet it has more k than this pattern.
  13. 01:11:140 (75,76,77,78) - Recommend changing to dk kd since there is a clear rise and fall of tone and note (76) doesn't appear to land on anything other than a drum beat of a stream that you're clearly not mapping.
  14. 01:12:855 (1) - Change to K for loud cymbal.
  15. 01:26:569 (1) - Same reason given as 01:12:855. Also you seemed to do this right at 01:40:283.
  16. 01:53:997 (1) - Same reason given as above.
  17. 02:07:712 (1) - Same reason given as above.
  18. 02:21:426 (1) - Should probably make this a k for the cymbal.
  19. 02:48:540 (52) - Change to k, you did this on a previous stream (I just lost the timing point and am not bothered to go back for it, lol).
  20. 03:02:569 - 03:12:640 - The music I hear here follows a X XX XXXX XX rhythm so consider revising this area, in the previous areas where this is noticeable I was mostly fine with how it was mapped because there was music for the notes to land on, but the doubles placed here feel mostly out of place. For example, the pattern (5,6) is mapped a 1/4 tick too much to the right, the white tick inbetween (6,7) has a very distinct cymbal sound but doesn't have a hit object. For the first 9 hit objects in this section I found the d kk dk dkkd to sound rather good.
  21. 03:16:283 (1) - Same reason given as 01:12:855.
  22. 03:23:140 - 03:28:283 - I'm a but too lazy to put out all the points for this section, but there are evidently loud cymbals that are not mapped as K.
  23. 03:43:605 (87,1) - Change to dK or dk if you prefer not ending streams with a finisher. (87) is somewhat lower than (86) which you have as d and just the general just of dddkd is a little awkward to play, especially considering the player is slowing down from a burst.
  24. 03:54:855 (69,70,71,72,73) - Same reason given as 1:10:283.
  25. 03:57:426 (1) - Same reason given as 01:12:855.
  26. 04:08:569 (69,70,71,72,73) - Same reason given as 1:10:283.
  27. 04:10:926 (87) - Consider changing to k as it's higher tone than (86) which you also have as k.
  28. 04:38:569 (1) - Change to K, not a strong recommendation though since you'd either end up with very mono k or remapping the lighter cymbals to d, which doesn't sound bad but just feels unnatural tbh.
  29. 04:41:997 (10,11,12,13) - Change to KdKd because cymbals etc.
  30. 04:45:426 (20) - Same reason given as 01:12:855.
  31. 04:47:140 (27) - Same reason as above, only not as a finisher. Also applies to notes like (34,39,44) and (46) as a K.
  32. 05:07:712 (1) - Change to K for cymbal or k if you don't like ending streams with a finisher.
  33. 05:21:426 (1) - Same reason given as 1:12:855.
  34. 05:34:640 (110) - Honestly thing this should be a d.
  35. 05:35:140 (1) - Same reason given as 05:07:712.
  36. 05:48:069 (106) - Same reason given as 5:34:640.
  37. 05:48:855 (1) - Same reason given as 1:12:855.
  38. 06:02:569 (1) - Same reason given as above.

Best of luck getting this map approved!

@Jaye
Thanks. For most of the K suggestions, I've intentionally used dons to match the lower pitch of the song. In most of these cases, I feel that K doesn't play well. I've applied most of the other suggestions.

Hi~ >w< from this queue

General
  • - Remove the SV on the timing, why you put it? since the volume and slider velocity multiplier it's the same as the timing, is unnecessary having it D:

    - You can move the timing offset to 00:00:862 (if you accept this, please, move all the SV to make them fit, especially, those that multiplies the slider velocity and kiais, including the end of these and re snap all notes with 1/12 in rhythm divider to avoid relocate the 1/6 and 1/4 notes)

    - Also, if you accept the offset correction, you should move the preview point to 04:53:147

Inner Oni
  • - You can change this 01:12:647 (87) - to k and 01:12:862 (1) - to D since after this comes a part with 1/1

    - 01:32:147 (30) - k

    - 01:35:362 (46,47) - Ctrl + g

    - 01:39:433 (66) - k

    - 01:44:040 (22,23) - Ctrl + g

    - 01:57:862 (22) - k or Ctrl + g with 01:57:754 (21) -

    - 02:07:719 (1) - k

    - Can change 02:24:862 (2) - to d because is a low note :3

    - Also can change 02:32:040 (9) - to d to emphasize the hi-hat on 02:31:933 (8,10) -

    - 02:32:897 (14) - ^

    - Can add a kdk on 02:34:826

    - Change 03:07:290 (29) - to k

    - 03:09:004 (39) - ^

    - Can change 03:16:290 (1) - to K

    - Change 03:19:719 (1) - to k

    - Can change 03:28:290 (15) - to K

    - 03:29:790 (16,17,18,1) - This 1/6 it's not in the music, you should change it to 1/4 (ddk) D: but sounds good for restart, so, you can leave it, I guess

    - 03:44:040 (3) - sounds good in k

    - 03:57:433 (1) - ^

    - You can change this 04:41:790 (9,10,11,12,13) - to d K d K d

    - 05:07:719 (1) - k

    - 05:21:433 (1) - ^

    - 05:35:147 (1) - ^

    - 06:04:933 (7) - ^

This is all optional :3 good luck with you map :D

    - 01:32:147 (30) - k

    - 01:35:362 (46,47) - Ctrl + g Changed. Also changed the following notes to avoid a repetitive pattern.

    - 01:39:433 (66) - k

    - 01:44:040 (22,23) - Ctrl + g

    - 01:57:862 (22) - k or Ctrl + g with 01:57:754 (21) - Changed this pattern to ddk

    - 02:07:719 (1) - k

    - Can change 02:24:862 (2) - to d because is a low note :3 In standalone notes like this, I've tended to use d when a drum sound is present and k otherwise. As such, this is a k - no change

    - Also can change 02:32:040 (9) - to d to emphasize the hi-hat on 02:31:933 (8,10) -

    - 02:32:897 (14) - ^

    - Can change 03:16:290 (1) - to K

    - Change 03:19:719 (1) - to k

    - Can change 03:28:290 (15) - to K

    - 03:29:790 (16,17,18,1) - This 1/6 it's not in the music, you should change it to 1/4 (ddk) D: but sounds good for restart, so, you can leave it, I guess The sound here is actually 1/8, but I don't want to use 1/8 here when there's none of it in the rest of the map, so 1/6 is fine.

    - 03:44:040 (3) - sounds good in k

    - 03:57:433 (1) - ^

    - You can change this 04:41:790 (9,10,11,12,13) - to d K d K d

    - 05:21:433 (1) - ^

    - 05:35:147 (1) - ^

04:10:819 - add a d
04:11:033 - add a k
04:13:712 (1,2) - Delete? i know it follows the background noise that increases volume, but i think its too low to be even noticeable here, IDK you choose ^^

03:19:712 - The volume at this note is Too low, Try using 20%? I really like this note being almost inaudible, like the sound it's mapped to. No change here.
03:56:712 (82,83) - Ctrl+G
03:57:105 - Add a d to follow the 1/4 kick (is that how is the instrument called) Sure. Also added in the similar section earlier in the map.

  1. 00:02:569 (11) - Change this to a don, there is hardly any sound here and changing it to a don would emphasise the high sound on 00:02:676.
  2. Same goes for 00:05:997 (31) and all other kk notes as I feel that there is a lower sound then the 1/2 note before it.
  3. Also change 00:08:569 (46) to a don as well, if you listen closely the sounds are the same as 00:08:033 (43,44) which you have mapped as dk.
  4. 00:14:355 - Add a kat here? It feels a little weird to play since there is such a strong sound here.
  5. 00:52:069 - Consider adding a kat here? It feels empty to just have nothing there. Also, if you've done that, change 00:52:283 to a don as the melody goes down here.
  6. Same goes for 01:05:783 and other spots like this later in the song.
  7. 02:34:176 (21) - Change this to a don, if you slow the music down you'll be able to hear a drum sound on (21) and (22).
  8. Add kats from 02:34:819 to 02:35:033 ? It feels weird to play when you have a gap here when there is strong music you can map to. Also, if you've done that you could also increase the SV as well going up in 3's starting at 02:34:712 as this would make it much smoother and easier to read.
  9. 03:02:069 (6) - Change this to a don as it feels really awkward to play (kddkdkk)kdkd with those 3 kats there.
  10. 03:30:426 - Add a don here as you've done there same just a few seconds later with dkd kk kk.
  11. 05:06:855 - I think some of your 1/6 patterns are a little awkward to play, especially the endings ;w;. Maybe change 05:07:497 to a kat? I think it flows much better as ddkkd rather than dddkd.
  12. I have a few concerns with some of the finishers at the ends of some streams... I would either remove the finishers or... remove the note before them. This is only a suggestion though as the ranking criteria does allow them at the end of streams ;-;.

That's all from me ~ Let me know if you'd like something else modded I'd like to get back into modding again :p

Good luck ~ uwu

For the intro, my idea was to start each half of the section with mostly dons, then add in more kats as the pitch rises (00:00:855 - 00:04:283 has 14 dons and 7 kats, 00:11:140 - 00:14:569 has 7 dons and 13 kats would be 14 kats but see the next point v). I've applied some of your suggested changes to match the pitch without disrupting with this effect.

  4. 00:14:355 - Add a kat here? It feels a little weird to play since there is such a strong sound here.
  5. 00:52:069 - Consider adding a kat here? It feels empty to just have nothing there. Also, if you've done that, change 00:52:283 to a don as the melody goes down here.
  6. Same goes for 01:05:783 and other spots like this later in the song.
I've intentionally left gaps like this throughout the song as a bit of a chance for the player to rest. Also, while it may not be an issue for a higher level player like yourself, less experienced players can have a lot of trouble 'getting back in' after they misread or misplay and drop. These gaps ensure an easy point for them to recover. If I only left these 1/1 breaks when they were present in the song, I'd have a bunch of long stretches like 01:19:712 - 02:21:426 with no breaks at all.

  7. 02:34:176 (21) - Change this to a don, if you slow the music down you'll be able to hear a drum sound on (21) and (22).
While there is a drum sound there, kdd is a really not-nice pattern to play. kkd is much nicer.

  8. Add kats from 02:34:819 to 02:35:033 ? It feels weird to play when you have a gap here when there is strong music you can map to. Also, if you've done that you could also increase the SV as well going up in 3's starting at 02:34:712 as this would make it much smoother and easier to read.
    I really like the way this is currently. No change ;w;

  9. 03:02:069 (6) - Change this to a don as it feels really awkward to play (kddkdkk)kdkd with those 3 kats there.
Hm, I'd always thought this was one of the more intuitive 1/6 patterns in the map. I'll give this change a go though.

  10. 03:30:426 - Add a don here as you've done there same just a few seconds later with dkd kk kk.
I didn't want to go straight into the non-stop 1/4 patterns straight after the break, but this doesn't seem too bad. Added.

  11. 05:06:855 - I think some of your 1/6 patterns are a little awkward to play, especially the endings ;w;. Maybe change 05:07:497 to a kat? I think it flows much better as ddkkd rather than dddkd.
Kept that pattern as is, but changed the one at 05:19:712 slightly.

  12. I have a few concerns with some of the finishers at the ends of some streams... I would either remove the finishers or... remove the note before them. This is only a suggestion though as the ranking criteria does allow them at the end of streams ;-;.
I added them in the most recent mod. Since the bpm is fairly low, I think they're okay.

That's all from me ~ Let me know if you'd like something else modded I'd like to get back into modding again :p

Good luck ~ uwu

Sorry sorry D:
Sorry for response so late :(

It's good map, maybe I don't find problems
  1. 00:45:855 (4) - Here is kat for snare and the electro sound
  2. 00:46:497 (8) - kat for electro sound
  3. 00:46:712 (9) - Here snare, change to kat
  4. 00:47:355 (13) - Change to don and add don here 00:47:462 - to follow the electro sound. Is better
  5. 00:48:426 (20) - kat here maybe (snare)
  6. 00:48:640 (21) - kat (electro sound)
  7. 00:49:926 (29) - kat (if you accept 00:46:497 (8) - for consistence)
  8. 01:38:355 (60) - Change to don, is the same that 01:37:926 (58) -
  9. 01:38:462 (61) - Maybe move to 01:38:676 - ? sound is better imo
  10. 01:39:533 - Add don
  11. 01:45:962 (33) - Move to 01:46:390 - to follow electro sound, is rare the sound here 01:45:962 -
  12. 01:49:283 (52) - Maybe change to kat?
  13. 01:59:676 (32) - The same that 01:45:962 (33) -
  14. 02:02:354 (47,49) - Ctrl + G and move this 02:02:461 (48) - to 02:02:676 - . Sound is better imo

Hi! I was about to tell you to revive this xD

General

  1. BG: May I suggest looking for other more interesting? Current one fills the song and all but I think it's a little simple. Maybe this is better :p (or this aswell :p
  2. Audio bitrate: Even it sounds fine at 160 kbps you should find for some 192 (would be even better :P)
  3. Metadata suggestions (tags and design): Maybe add 'Techno' / 'Pop' to Tags (as I've read it's a mix of them). Other than that looks nice
[Inner Oni]
  1. Probably it's more personal but may I suggest 'Fly Oni' as diffname? Totally up to you w/e
  2. I think 1.6 SV doesn't look that good. I know song is currently bit hard talking about SR but I think it would be better stucking at 1.4SV (Current SV is like 160~bpm). If you want to keep it go ahead, but I felt that while testplaying
  3. 00:29:997 - My main concern on this section is why you represent the same sound 00:31:283 (10,11) and 00:32:997 (21,22) with different notes. I think d k is better than d d. (00:36:426 (43,44) - also). If you wanted variation I think it's not that neccesary since it's the beggining and only have 4 repetitions
  4. 00:37:069 (46,47,48,49,50) - 00:37:926 (52,53,54,55,56) - 00:38:783 (58,59,60,61,62) - 00:39:640 (64,65,66,67,68) - may I suggest variating them or making them kkddk? They feel too louder for the electrosound
  5. 00:42:855 - rhythm keeps sounding til 00:43:712 - add some notes
  6. 00:44:997 - what about using +0.01 sv change and finishing with 1.1x on 00:45:426 - ?
  7. 00:46:926 (2,3) - kk probably fills better
  8. 01:11:997 (84) - maybe this as kat is good for variation and making something interesting according to rhythm
  9. 01:12:855 - this section feels a little empty. I know here it becomes more calmer but adding some notes could be interesting
  10. ^if you agree with this you could start longstream from 01:23:140 -
  11. 01:41:569 (9,10,11) - 01:43:283 (19,20,21) - these three singles makes it feel a little empty, maybe a triple between 2nd and 3rd
  12. 02:04:176 (57) - delete and start longstream from 02:04:390 - ?
  13. 02:10:712 - 02:17:569 - overmap this a little prolly, feels so empty
  14. 02:17:997 - same about longstream stuff
  15. 02:48:855 - from the second half of the Kiai you could add some triples like you did on 02:50:355 (12,13,14) - on parts like 02:52:069 -
  16. 03:40:283 - stream xD
If you don't agree in a first instance with longstreams at that point you could start making them from the last suggestion (if you like ascendant difficulty maps)
  17. 03:43:926 - I don't feel this SV up that neccesary tbh, but if you want to you can hold it
  18. 03:53:997 - LS lol
  19. 04:10:926 (92) - try a kat on here and you emphatise last don better (also follows kick bettah)
  20. 04:13:712 - SV speedup from here (also with the volume raiseup) fills greaat
  21. 04:28:283 - from here you could use the same rhythm follow that you're using on 04:24:855 - some doubles feel so strange (not at first half of this section)
  22. 04:41:783 (9) - delete big note imo
  23. 04:48:747 (33) - 04:48:319 - and making 04:48:855 (34) - big note? Repeats through this part (fills better imo)
  24. 05:21:105 - +0.01 from here SV up to make it more smooth?
  25. 05:48:855 - these SV slowdown makes more sense imo, n1
That's all! Sorry for walltext ;; didn't expect that considering it's already a good map. Tell me when you apply this to come back, nice job at this and so fun, correct stream usage aswell ~

  1. BG: May I suggest looking for other more interesting? Current one fills the song and all but I think it's a little simple. Maybe this is better :p (or this aswell :p As much as I love that second suggestion, I don't really want to use it since there's already another ranked map with that bg. Also I think the current bg is more fitting with the tone and feel of the song.
  2. Audio bitrate: Even it sounds fine at 160 kbps you should find for some 192 (would be even better :P) I spent a while looking for a higher quality MP3 when I first mapped this, and this was the best I could find .w. I think it sounds okay though, so it should be fine
  3. Metadata suggestions (tags and design): Maybe add 'Techno' / 'Pop' to Tags (as I've read it's a mix of them). Other than that looks nice Added
[Inner Oni]
  1. Probably it's more personal but may I suggest 'Fly Oni' as diffname? Totally up to you w/e As cool as that name is, I'd prefer to keep it as a generic Inner Oni rather than something unique. Just personal preference I guess.
  2. I think 1.6 SV doesn't look that good. I know song is currently bit hard talking about SR but I think it would be better stucking at 1.4SV (Current SV is like 160~bpm). If you want to keep it go ahead, but I felt that while testplaying I originally set it to 1.6 just because it felt really slow at 1.4 140bpm, but because of the other SV increases throughout the map, 1.4 is probably right. Changed.
  3. 00:29:997 - My main concern on this section is why you represent the same sound 00:31:283 (10,11) and 00:32:997 (21,22) with different notes. I think d k is better than d d. (00:36:426 (43,44) - also). If you wanted variation I think it's not that neccesary since it's the beggining and only have 4 repetitions Okay, changed all to d k.
  4. 00:37:069 (46,47,48,49,50) - 00:37:926 (52,53,54,55,56) - 00:38:783 (58,59,60,61,62) - 00:39:640 (64,65,66,67,68) - may I suggest variating them or making them kkddk? They feel too louder for the electrosound Though I prefer kkkkk here, people have made this suggestion before, so I guess I'm okay with changing it.
  5. 00:42:855 - rhythm keeps sounding til 00:43:712 - add some notes Taking this pattern all the way to 00:43:712 sounds kind of weird and doesn't play well imo, so I've ended it at 00:43:640 instead.
  6. 00:44:997 - what about using +0.01 sv change and finishing with 1.1x on 00:45:426 - ? Okay.
  7. 00:46:926 (2,3) - kk probably fills better Sure
  8. 01:11:997 (84) - maybe this as kat is good for variation and making something interesting according to rhythm kdkdddk is a little weird to play here imo, so I changed this pattern completely to kkdkkkd, the polar opposite of the similar pattern at 00:58:069 instead. Also changed the pattern at 04:10:069 for consistency.
  9. 01:12:855 - this section feels a little empty. I know here it becomes more calmer but adding some notes could be interesting
  10. ^if you agree with this you could start longstream from 01:23:140 - This section was one of the hardest parts of this song to map for me. Since the section is so calm compared to the sections before and after it, anything interesting I tried in here felt over the top. In the end I went with the simple patterns I have now because they at least felt okay to play. I'll keep this as it is.
  11. 01:41:569 (9,10,11) - 01:43:283 (19,20,21) - these three singles makes it feel a little empty, maybe a triple between 2nd and 3rd Done for the first, but not the second set both, I changed my mind.
  12. 02:04:176 (57) - delete and start longstream from 02:04:390 - ? That doesn't sound quite right to me, so I've changed it to something else instead.
  13. 02:10:712 - 02:17:569 - overmap this a little prolly, feels so empty Done.
  14. 02:17:997 - same about longstream stuff Did something similar to what I did in the last section
  15. 02:48:855 - from the second half of the Kiai you could add some triples like you did on 02:50:355 (12,13,14) - on parts like 02:52:069 - Sounds good. Also applied this in the second Kiai.
  16. 03:40:283 - stream xD Did the same thing I did with the last two of these.
If you don't agree in a first instance with longstreams at that point you could start making them from the last suggestion (if you like ascendant difficulty maps)
  17. 03:43:926 - I don't feel this SV up that neccesary tbh, but if you want to you can hold it These gradual changes are to get the SV up to be consistent with 00:45:426 - 01:12:855. Keeping them for now.
  18. 03:53:997 - LS lol ;w;
  19. 04:10:926 (92) - try a kat on here and you emphatise last don better (also follows kick bettah) Okay.
  20. 04:13:712 - SV speedup from here (also with the volume raiseup) fills greaat Sure, done.
  21. 04:28:283 - from here you could use the same rhythm follow that you're using on 04:24:855 - some doubles feel so strange (not at first half of this section) They all fit with the song, so I think they're okay.
  22. 04:41:783 (9) - delete big note imo Done.
  23. 04:48:747 (33) - 04:48:319 - and making 04:48:855 (34) - big note? Repeats through this part (fills better imo) Nice! Changed.
  24. 05:21:105 - +0.01 from here SV up to make it more smooth? Done.
  25. 05:48:855 - these SV slowdown makes more sense imo, n1 Thanks
That's all! Sorry for walltext ;; didn't expect that considering it's already a good map. Tell me when you apply this to come back, nice job at this and so fun, correct stream usage aswell ~

01:27:212 (4) - Change to k? The offbeat k on its own differentiates that beat in the triplet which seems awkward given most of the emphasis occurs at 01:27:426 (6) with the vocal and cymbal (??) sound.
01:56:355 (14) - Change to k? Or 01:56:569 (16) - I guess.
02:17:783 (67,68,69) - Ctrl+g? Keeps the k on the cymbal sound which occurs for most of the section.
02:19:497 (80) - Maybe change this too, but it might make the stream a bit boring.
02:32:355 (11) - Consider changing to k to further differentiate it from the previous calm section by emphasising the addition of these sounds, though I get the consistent usage of double d.
02:33:212 (16) - ^ Maybe change the kkk triplets to kdd, if you change the above.

10:25 Chocola_2287: 00:42:997 (87) - idk why you use a k here tho tbh
10:26 Chocola_2287: 00:43:283 (91) - it sound like you are using k with different purpose
10:26 Chocola_2287: I do think that ddkddkdkkdkk fits more
10:26 Chocola_2287: 00:42:855 (85,91) - imo has to be d to emphasis the snare
10:27 Chocola_2287: or dddkkkdddkkk
10:27 Chocola_2287: Both works
10:27 Chocola_2287: 00:45:319 (4,1) - Quite unpleasant for me to have 1/4 with finisher as the end
10:28 Aloda: I originally didn't have them
10:28 Aloda: But a bunch of people said I should add them in
10:28 Aloda: Plus it's low bpm, so they aren't that bad to play
10:28 Chocola_2287: Yea I know, I don't like it because preferences
10:29 Chocola_2287: But it is fine to leave it there
10:29 Chocola_2287: 00:48:640 (13) - k, similar reason
10:29 Aloda: Okay
10:30 Chocola_2287: 00:50:997 (27,29) - k? 28 has the lowest pitch among 27-29
10:30 Chocola_2287: better if you can emphasize 28 as low pitch
10:31 Aloda: I'll change 29
10:31 Aloda: Keeping 27 as k for contrast with the kats before it
10:31 Aloda: d**
10:32 Chocola_2287: 00:57:855 (73) - k ? I feel that when this being a d it took a lot of emphasizing impact
10:32 Chocola_2287: 01:02:354 (21) - ^^^
10:32 Chocola_2287: 01:09:211 (64) - k,
10:33 Aloda: Okay, changed all
10:33 Chocola_2287: 01:11:247 (78,79,80,81) - you might want to be consistent with 00:57:533 (70,71,72,73) -
10:33 Chocola_2287: and any notes before and after
10:34 Chocola_2287: 01:26:247 (58,59,60,1) - I would go for kkkD here
10:34 Chocola_2287: 01:26:140 (57,58,59,60) - share same instrument
10:35 Aloda: It feels kind of weird to have the kkk right after a 1/6 ending in k imo
10:36 Chocola_2287: 01:53:997 (1) - Shouldn't this part be identical to 01:26:569 (1) - ?
10:37 Aloda: They're the same structure with different patterns aren't they?
10:37 Aloda: Should I make the patterns more similar
10:37 Aloda: Hm
10:37 Chocola_2287: Even with the d/k arrangement
10:38 Chocola_2287: It shouldn't be similar, it should be identical
10:38 Aloda: Okay
10:39 Chocola_2287: 01:40:069 (77,1) - I would invert the color pattern here
10:40 Chocola_2287: but I wont force because its preference only
10:40 Aloda: I'm happy to change them
10:42 Chocola_2287: 02:17:783 (69,70,71,72,73,74,75,76,77,78,79,80,81,82) - I prefer these 7plets having first 2 notes as kk
10:42 Chocola_2287: I would go for kkddkkd kkdkkkd
10:43 Chocola_2287: 02:19:497 (83) - k to be consistent with the 7plets
10:44 Aloda: Hm okay
10:44 Aloda: Changed to some slightly different patterns
10:45 Chocola_2287: 02:34:712 (24) - this SV change is too significant
10:45 Chocola_2287: I prefer SV flow here
10:46 Aloda: I kind of like the sudden sv increase with the start of the Kiai
10:46 Aloda: Feels fine to me, and it's no challenge to read
10:46 Chocola_2287: 02:38:355 (25) - k
10:47 Chocola_2287: 02:45:212 (25) - ^
10:47 Chocola_2287: consistency
10:47 Aloda: Sure
10:47 Aloda: I'll do the same in the second Kiai
10:47 Chocola_2287: kk
10:48 Chocola_2287: 03:11:247 (64) - k ?
10:48 Aloda: For consistency with 03:09:426 - ?
10:49 Aloda: I guess I change the quad too
10:49 Chocola_2287: ye
10:49 Aloda: Done
10:53 Chocola_2287: 03:40:176 (70) - similar reason with the kkxxxxx pattern
10:53 Chocola_2287: but to d
10:54 Aloda: Sure
10:56 Chocola_2287: 04:24:855 (1) - I prefer nerfing this part
10:57 Chocola_2287: the song mood here does not fit 1/4 imo
10:59 Aloda: Hm, kind of similar to the intro here
10:59 Aloda: I'll consider nerfing it
Good luck getting this approved.

2017-09-16 21:55 Aloda: The thing I wanted to ask about was the long stream at 03:12:855 -
2017-09-16 21:55 Aloda: Since every other similar stream in the map has 2 7-plets leading up to it
2017-09-16 21:55 Aloda: While this one doesn't
2017-09-16 21:56 Aloda: And I wasn't sure whether that inconsistency would be a problem
2017-09-16 21:56 xfraczynho: 03:12:747 - about adding a note on here you mean?
2017-09-16 21:56 xfraczynho: 02:19:497 (83) - like this one?
2017-09-16 21:57 Aloda: Yeah and removing a couple of notes too
2017-09-16 21:57 xfraczynho: I would like to see something like 02:05:783 -
2017-09-16 21:57 Aloda: 03:13:391 (80) - and 03:14:247 (88) -
2017-09-16 21:57 xfraczynho: but if you add some notes
2017-09-16 21:57 xfraczynho: is pretty good, as I said I like ascendant difficulty marathon maps
2017-09-16 21:58 Aloda: Alright
2017-09-16 21:58 xfraczynho: when I modded I compared stream length
2017-09-16 21:58 Aloda: I guess I'll just add that one note then
2017-09-16 21:58 xfraczynho: and I felt it fine
2017-09-16 21:59 Aloda: Alright, cool
2017-09-16 21:59 xfraczynho: but about making ascendant difficulty map is most about mapstyle than something like RC or something
2017-09-16 21:59 Aloda: Yeah I guess so
2017-09-16 22:00 Aloda: But anyway, thanks for the help!
2017-09-16 22:00 xfraczynho: you're welcome

2017-09-17 00:42 Aloda: Hey, I got your message
2017-09-17 00:42 Aloda: Just to clarify, the kk patters you mentioned are just the ones in the intro?
2017-09-17 00:43 Aloda: And which section exactly are you talking about when you say the 'section of quarters'?
2017-09-17 00:47 xfraczynho: sec sec
2017-09-17 00:47 xfraczynho: I tried talking you by here
2017-09-17 00:49 xfraczynho: 00:22:283 (46,47) -
2017-09-17 00:49 xfraczynho: 00:23:140 (51,52) -
2017-09-17 00:49 xfraczynho: 00:24:854 (61,62) -
2017-09-17 00:49 xfraczynho: 00:25:711 (66,67) -
2017-09-17 00:49 xfraczynho: 00:26:569 (71,72) -
2017-09-17 00:49 xfraczynho: these are which I felt a little repetitive and could be followed better
2017-09-17 00:50 xfraczynho: 00:30:426 - also this section of quarters
2017-09-17 00:50 Aloda: Alright
2017-09-17 00:50 Aloda: Do you want me to just make all the sets of quads there the same?
2017-09-17 00:50 Aloda: kddd dkkd or something
2017-09-17 00:50 xfraczynho: wait wait
2017-09-17 00:51 xfraczynho: not same
2017-09-17 00:51 xfraczynho: it's about this sec
2017-09-17 00:51 xfraczynho: 00:36:426 (43,44) -
2017-09-17 00:51 xfraczynho: for example on your mod reply you said Okay, changed all to d k.
2017-09-17 00:51 xfraczynho: to be honest
2017-09-17 00:51 xfraczynho: I'd like to see k k instead d k at timestamps like 00:31:283 -
2017-09-17 00:52 Aloda: Oh okay
2017-09-17 00:52 Aloda: I'll do that
2017-09-17 00:52 xfraczynho: but I don't want to screw up your mapstyle at all, that's why I told you to find someone else to comment it
2017-09-17 00:52 xfraczynho: I mean... if other one points something like it it could be great
2017-09-17 00:53 Aloda: Yeah I see haha
2017-09-17 00:53 xfraczynho: also a little suggestion about playability
2017-09-17 00:53 xfraczynho: 00:43:426 (93) - k, 00:43:569 (95) - d?
2017-09-17 00:54 xfraczynho: it's most personal cause I don't like odd patterns but I think it could be nicer :')
2017-09-17 00:54 Aloda: Sure, it sounds fine
2017-09-17 00:55 Aloda: Going back to the kk doublets in the intro
2017-09-17 00:55 Aloda: Is it okay if I leave the last one but change the rest
2017-09-17 00:55 Aloda: I think that one sounds fine
2017-09-17 00:55 xfraczynho: yeah I agree
2017-09-17 00:55 xfraczynho: 01:12:855 - also
2017-09-17 00:55 xfraczynho: with 'empty' I mean not to overmap it
2017-09-17 00:55 xfraczynho: but when you come from a hard section and it becomes calm for a long perior
2017-09-17 00:56 period * it seems... strange to play
2017-09-17 00:56 Aloda: Okay
2017-09-17 00:56 Aloda: I guess I could add some 1/2 in there
2017-09-17 00:56 xfraczynho: 01:13:926 - like here a don
2017-09-17 00:56 Aloda: Some more 1/2 I mean
2017-09-17 00:56 xfraczynho: 01:16:926 - also
2017-09-17 00:56 xfraczynho: yeah
2017-09-17 00:56 Aloda: Yeah
2017-09-17 00:57 xfraczynho: also could be great if you 01:21:640 (25) - move to 01:21:640 (25) - and make it kat
2017-09-17 00:57 xfraczynho: idk, seems nice :')
2017-09-17 00:57 xfraczynho: to be honest I think that's most of things I wanted to point
2017-09-17 00:57 Aloda: Move to where?
2017-09-17 00:57 xfraczynho: next sections looks great
2017-09-17 00:57 xfraczynho: 01:21:212 -
2017-09-17 00:57 xfraczynho: lol wrong ts
2017-09-17 00:58 Aloda: Haha
2017-09-17 00:59 Aloda: Okay, I've done that
2017-09-17 00:59 Aloda: Updating now
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: wait wait
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: last one sec xD
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: 03:40:283 - this stream follow seems better than 05:04:283 - imo
2017-09-17 00:59 Aloda: Alright ahaha
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: I mean
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: Kiai is easier than that one
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: and they're pretty similar
2017-09-17 00:59 xfraczynho: so it doesn't make sense at all for me D:
2017-09-17 01:00 xfraczynho: I'd like to see something like xxxxx x xxxxxxx x xxxxxxxxxxx(longstream)
2017-09-17 01:00 Aloda: Oh you're right
2017-09-17 01:00 xfraczynho: or xxxxx xxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxx
2017-09-17 01:00 xfraczynho: seems better
2017-09-17 01:00 xfraczynho: (applies for every Kiai sections xD)
2017-09-17 01:00 xfraczynho: don't be afraid of making long streams anyways, it's a high SR song :')
2017-09-17 01:00 Aloda: I think what I'll do is add notes at like 05:04:176 - and 05:04:390 -
2017-09-17 01:01 Aloda: So that it's consistent with the similar patterns throughout the map
2017-09-17 01:01 xfraczynho: yeah that look even nicer
2017-09-17 01:01 xfraczynho: remember to do on similar sections :p
2017-09-17 01:01 Aloda: Yeah I will
2017-09-17 01:02 xfraczynho: also maybe nerfing a little on non-kiai similar sections
2017-09-17 01:02 xfraczynho: just by deleting a note could be enough, it's to make a difference and better density difference :')
2017-09-17 01:03 Aloda: Yeah I get it
2017-09-17 01:03 xfraczynho: will be back on 10 ~
2017-09-17 01:03 Aloda: Okay
2017-09-17 01:06 Aloda: Removed a note from all the others except 02:17:783 - and 03:40:069 -
2017-09-17 01:12 xfraczynho: kay just back
2017-09-17 01:12 xfraczynho: did you update?
2017-09-17 01:13 Aloda: I did
2017-09-17 01:13 xfraczynho: okok gotta testplay
2017-09-17 01:16 xfraczynho: 00:52:712 (39) -
2017-09-17 01:16 xfraczynho: I think a kat on here is neccesary, you should restructure the quintuplet
2017-09-17 01:16 xfraczynho: 00:52:283 (35) - pretty same pitch as that one
2017-09-17 01:16 Aloda: Alright
2017-09-17 01:16 Aloda: kdddk good?
2017-09-17 01:17 xfraczynho: yeah I thought the same
2017-09-17 01:18 xfraczynho: 01:12:426 - since you're using finish notes after streams
2017-09-17 01:18 xfraczynho: considering bpm is nice
2017-09-17 01:18 xfraczynho: http://puu.sh/xBEcG/b9f2513a24.jpg
2017-09-17 01:18 xfraczynho: so try that maybe :')
2017-09-17 01:18 xfraczynho: ok that should be enough, tell me when update :D
2017-09-17 01:19 Aloda: Alright updating now
2017-09-17 01:20 Aloda: And done
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: ok the last thing
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: xDD
2017-09-17 01:27 Aloda: xd
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: 03:17:997 - 03:18:855 -
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: what about adding notes here? I got your point on follow the drum instead voice
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: but 8/1 break is huuuge imo
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: 03:21:426 - same
2017-09-17 01:27 xfraczynho: should be all for me :')
2017-09-17 01:28 Aloda: Hm
2017-09-17 01:28 Aloda: tbh I prefer to have the break there
2017-09-17 01:28 xfraczynho: great
2017-09-17 01:28 xfraczynho: still nice
2017-09-17 01:29 Aloda: It just lets the strong sounds I've mapped to stand out more I guess haha
2017-09-17 01:29 xfraczynho: yeah I can get you :p
No kds!
Map seems nice for me, good luck for ranked ~
Raiden
cool structures and 1/6

minor complaints:

general:

can i have a reliable metadata source?

raise volume!!!! i can barely hear the tapping on sections like 00:29:997 - 00:45:426 - etc. give them at least a +15 boost

smooth sv changes, not abrupt!!!!
parts like 01:12:855 - , do like you did in 00:44:997 -

difficulty itself:
minor rhythm complaints in the kiais: namely notes like 02:38:997 (4) - which are supposed to be kats to keep the upbeat rhythm of the snares and high pitched vocals in every 2nd beat; to fix this simply ctrl+g with the previous note or do a kkk
02:42:426 (4) - see? happens some times. also on the last kiai, keep a look out on it

yeah that's all!!

Karent is the official music label for this song, so assuming this is up to date, the site I linked in the beatmap description should be fine for a metadata source. Let me know if you need more, and I'll try to find something.

raise volume!!!! i can barely hear the tapping on sections like 00:29:997 - 00:45:426 - etc. give them at least a +15 boost
Okay, done.
