The problem is not the kiai and it's perfectly fine as it is for an Insane difficulty. The easiest fix I told you the other day too was to simply reduce spacing for 00:22:166 - 00:33:161 - and 01:45:098 - 01:56:093 - . They are just 2 sections of 11 secs each where you simply need to tone down spacing in an easy-to-recognize way telling the player "hey, the emphasis here is totally different than when you played <this> part in the kiai time" done, i kept some high spacing parts to emphasize certian parts of the synth which should be ok(?) let me know if it isn't lol
Since those parts are kinda "increasing" in intensity over time feel free to gently increase spacing too, but don't make it perfectly identical to kiai time, please.
Also, what happened with 01:49:810 (1,1) - ? NC-wise i have no idea how this keeps happening lmao

Maybe I'm being a pain in the ass here regarding these things, but song expression is the only thing I can't ignore.
I can overlook not-so-clean aesthetics, I can overlook some little mash-ups with structure, I can even ignore some dumb 1,2 combos sometimes, but ignoring what the song dictates goes against the first and probably only rule I have about mapping: the song commands.
If you ignore the song, what is the player going to play? Circles spammed on the screen? Well, while I do agree it may be fun for someone, I can't bring myself to consider such content as "official" of the game.
It moreover shows that you din't even listen to the song and therefore every song would be the same in that regard, which then would make no sense to map since "it's the same as any other song", right? Obviously not referring to the huge amount of identical animu TV size out there AT ALL (/s) nah i don't blame you, i'm sick of the same generic stuff over and over again, which is what i had in mind mapping this to begin with 5 months ago; as a player it sucks especially because basically every single map nowadays is the same "5 star map then let's add 6/7 star jumps out of nowhere" instead of a consistent difficulty that reasons with the intensity of the music. hopefully now that i actually have grown as a mapper since then the spacing i gave now makes more sense musically since i scrutinized basically every pattern lol

Well, maybe adding this last paragraph wasn't necessary at all, but I wanted to actually make clear why I am being so concerned about these things.
This was also the main reason why I didn't want to icon the mapset in the first place but now that things seem to be improving (and we're almost there too) I'd like to see it through already.
to be honest I can't thank you enough for taking the time to look at this, I'm honestly grateful for you not getting tired of modding the same diff over and over again and putting up with all my changes lmao

once I applied the changes I relooked at combos to ensure they're properly placed because apparently that's an issue, hopefully no more of that now

For the calmer section, it is only 4 in a row but I still keep the sliders close because I don't want much movement here either
02:02:376 (1,2,3,4) - I can agree on the fact that such pattern "may" fit with an intense rhythm such as the one proposed in the kiai time, but again, is this part similar to the one in kiai time? it is not the same beat being played but it is still 4 strong notes in a row, so yes it is similar
02:21:224 (1,2,3,4) - you could have used the "stream" pattern here instead, and avoid the misleading anti-jump fixed it

tried fixing aesthetics as much as possible throughout the modding process lol, though imo it's a hell of a lot better than what it was when i first mapped it like 9 months ago

i like to think i was stupid back then in terms of following the rhythm but i probably still am, will keep in mind for the future tho!

According to some informations I got
The album released on Dec 25th,2013
The song added to the first game was: Jan 26th, 2014

However, as long as it's official now, it's still fine to add it to source, unless you rank the song between Dec 25th, 2013 and Jan 26th, 2014

Well if the song isn't composed for the game, I think it's better not to put it in the source since the composer wasn't like "I made this song to put this in that game", and I think I saw this case on a newer map than the one you linked.

edit: Hmm idk if it's supposed to be part of the game when the album was released, as the period between them is pretty short.

It doesn't seem like the song was made specifically for a certain game, just that it was added to a few games shortly after being published. Looking at other tracks from the Blue Dragon album, some of the other songs ended up being debuted in different games.

For example, . waxing and wanding(BD MIX) from the same album debuts in the game "beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD"
Critical Crystal(BD MIX) debuts in the game "beatmania IIDX 21 SPADA"

So we can see that different tracks from that album went to different games and didn't debut at the same time. It makes me think that the song wasn't originally made for any particular game, and therefore the Source is optional rather than necessary.

as far as i've researched the album came before the appearance in the game so i just put it to tags

either way if there's any DQable issue please tell, as I'm not in my country for 2 weeks and wont be able to do a quick fix

if the origin of the song is not the game, but rather an album released half a year earlier, then the game is not its source by any means. you only should add something to source if it was the song's first appearance

I want to ask, why you named your highest diff Blue Dragon while you have Blue Dragon as your username? Afaik the rc said a custom highest diff name can't be reffered to an username. So maybe a clarify would be good, since many people might took this map as reference for naming their diff in the future xD

Oh wow, PPAP pops up in my mind.

PPAP is released before it appears in jubeat Qubell, i.e. the song itself is not made for the game. It was added after it gains much popularity and turned into a meme. Therefore, I'd say it is 100% up to the creator to choose whether to put that into the Source, does it make sense?

Just take a look: BLUE DRAGON (Seiryu) - BLUE DRAGON. Why isnt it fine to name the Diff [Blue Dragon] ? When there would be a map: xi - xi, I would name the final diff [xi] xD

The timing point is located at 00:23:108 - If you look in the editor, you'll notice the red bar, which is an uninherited timing point. There are also a few green timing points (inherited ones) throughout the diff.
