Problem Details:
When I am in a multiplayer lobby checking my name, it shows that I am from Canada; however, I am actually from the United States, and I only ever go out of the country (Malaysia) every summer. Is the bar showing that I am Canada something I should be concerned? I would appreciate if it was changed to United States. Thanks in advance!

Here's the link to the photo, the wasn't working for me.

Your in-game location is determined based on your ip address - staff can't change that for you. It's nothing to be concerned about though.

^ Basically that. If you're running a VPN or Proxy, you may want to disable it as this can definitely change your location.

Out of curiosity, What state are you located in, And what is your ISP?

The same is happening to me, no vpn or proxy are involved in my case.

I like to bring this up because I am having the same issue/problem. Signed up on Osu 2 years ago under the U.S. Never left the country. I do use a VPN but I never pick Canada as a proxy server and when I do use a VPN I never use it while playing osu. I am located in California and my ISP is located in California. So I don't know why it says I'm from Canada. Usually isn't there a process to change what your country is? It's just weird explaining to a person who is from Canada that I'm not Canadian lol

I'm having the same issue as well :|

I don't even live remotely near Canada (I'm in Texas)

Do a ping to your VPN and watch its path, if it leads through Canada then that would explain why this is occurring.

Could be your ISP also recently got allocated a block that was geolocated elsewhere before for whatever reason, assuming you're not using a VPN. It'll probably solve itself over time, but curiously, what ISP are you using?
Geo-location would show Canada on anything else too.
