I was introduced to it by a friend and then before I knew it I was playing it more than him.
It's ridiculously fun and I thank pepsi for making it.

My brothers had the game, and I liked Ooendan (and even has a feqw fantasies of making my own beatmaps.
Played a demo of EBA in Toys R Us. Thought it was fun.
Searched for EBA for PC on google. Found this website.
Downloaded on my computer, downloaded Can't Defeat Airman.

Well.... i first saw it on youtube and thought it was fun but i did not play it till a friend sent me the link telling me to play it and i found myself playing non-stop and lvling up faster than him LOLS~~~~~
Guy linked it on /jp/, said why not. Ends up being one of like 5 games i've played for more than a day in 3 years.

i played eba before and when i saw osu i was interested cuz i liked eba before plus i just want to try some anime songs then i got addicted

I never played any rhythm games. Except many years ago, when I had something called "ClickBeat".
I had much fun with it, but the game never made it past version 0.0.3 or something and eventually died.

I absolutely got tired of playing Stepmania.
Osu presented me with a new challenge; a frustrating but fun one at that. It also inspired me to buy a tablet.

I saw on a forum a topic about osu! and I started to play it. Then, I became a big noob addicted.
I'm playing osu because i like anime, jmusic and trance...
Because I like music, rhythm games, and certain aspects I like in video games which osu! happens to have.

I play osu! because I love rhythm games, it's also a nice change of pace from Stepmania.
Elite Beat Agents looked really interesting to me, but never had the chance to play it at the time. (Other than in a store on a broken DS, wasn't much fun I'll tell you that)
I stumbled across an Osu! video on xfire video while watching videos for other games and just going by what was recommended on the side. I thought that it looked like EBA and had to try it. Really was surprised with how well this game is made, it's far better than most paid games.

Why? Cause it's addicting and I get to listen to more songs (preferably japanese/anime/whatever)
I've played EBA before and thought it was really cool. I don't remember exactly how I found this site, I think a friend pointed it out to me. I tried it... loved it. It's of the few games I've consistently played longer than just a few months.
