Or when you want to delete ctb/mania/taiko diffs that you're never gonna play.. I tried to delete'em all at once while using song's folder.. DON'T EVEN TRY THAT SH*T. ( Had to reinstall the game.. )

I truely support this thread. :)

I was thinking of posting a similar suggestion like this and i'm happy someone else wants this. This would help with alot of headache when making mapper, genre or other specified collections.
ikzune
bump this definetly would help ._.
lolfood
Support. I'm never going to play 1,2 or 3 star maps again

Deleting 7000 diffs one by one is getting tiring...
edisk
This and mass selecting maps to update would be great too...

Finally being unable to delete maps 4.5> stars at once, sounds like a dream i support this
Pituophis
yes
AR10 Only
It could be awesome ! I spend too much time these days removing all the maps i will not play
Valentine
Awesome idea, I'd love to get rid of all the beatmap difficulties I'll never play at once!

i believe you have the option to hide a certain star difficulty e.g. hide <4* difficulty, >8* difficulty (maps 5* to 7* will be shown during map selection in this example)

forgive me if im missing the point of this thread tho

For those who say that this will not increase space in your HDD: I have 36k beatmaps, 30k of them are below 4*. Let's say that those left 6k beatmaps are just harder difficulties of those other 36k beatmaps. So okay, now I will be playing 6k of lower difficulties beatmaps, and what about other 24k beatmaps? It's more than half of my beatmaps and all of them takes 90gb. So you want to say that freeing 50gb is not increasing space? And in other hand I have annoyingly long beatmap processing.

you do know that you can mass delete maps already, right?

Your paragraph gives me cancer cells. Please correct it asap.

And you do know that each beatmap usually contains one .mp3 file to use, right?
And the difficulties themselves are only in KBs, right?

Bump since my thread of this just got nuked

My post:
My uTorrent has been busy downloading the entirety of ranked maps, now as the title implies, I want to add them to collections sorted by the year/month they were ranked in. Now I suppose you understand I am not going to individually add over 10k maps to the collections. Instead the ability to immediately have a map in a collection upon importing the .osz would be amazing, or the ability to, like the way the mass deleting works, adding all visible maps to collections.
(Of course my case is just an example, I'm sure there's many more people that want this and many more ways to use this)
