05:14:712 (3,1,2,1) - The 1/3 here doesn't feel cool to read the rhythms properly in the current design due to its placement majorly. Hope this gets fixed before this gets anywhere further.

Hope you fix the above issue along the next bn.

Again, the map is fine, but due to the rhythm issue I posted earlier, I hesitate to be the 3rd nominator to push this mapset unfortunately..

So we fixed the 1/3rd pattern that sonnyc mentioned as well as did some other IRC things regarding moving the extended sliders 1/4th earlier in some cases during the solo. Other than that, some minor polishing.

00:36:462 (4,2) - partial overlaps like this look extremely irritating, just put it at an equal distance between (2) and the sliderend of (1)

00:39:462 (2,1) - either map (2) as a slider to emphasize the guitar or map the triple before (1) if you want to follow the drums, currently, by just following the snares, the break inbetween feels awkwardly empty

00:40:512 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - keep spacing between objects more in mind, the distance of the last triple to the sliderhead of (1) is way shorter than from the sliderend of (4), going something with something like this would give the map a lot more structure. you'll have to adjust the next two sliders aswell but that's easy


01:41:712 (1) - on this stream, the drums are inconsistent in the song and therefore need need multiple BPM sections for proper timing. even if you wish to ignore that, there is 1/6 bursts happening there so it would need to be retimed anyway


01:43:362 (2,3,4) - make the distance all these notes have to the previous slider the same

01:45:012 (4,2) - dont make (2) overlap (4) like that, just put it under (4)'s sliderend. also adjust the following sliders to blanket (2) better, right now its off by a bit

01:46:812 (3,4,5) - remove clap from (3) and move it to (5), the snare is on (5) and thats what you want to emphasize

01:47:412 (8) - way too close to the triple

01:54:162 (2,4,2) - too much clutter

01:58:812 (4,6) - expand the distance of this blanket so its consistent with 01:59:412 (7,1) -

02:08:712 (1,2,3) - increase the spacing on this, the snares need more emphasis than bass drums

02:20:112 (1,2,3) - you need to slow down motion from (1) to (2), then speed up to (3), all on a straight line, leading to an awkward motion

02:23:112 (1) - keep this on curve, you already emphasize this note by having a sharp turn, doing as you do now the angle on 02:22:962 (7,8,1) - becomes way too sharp

02:26:412 (3) - move this upwards to preserve the curvature of (1)

02:32:112 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - the intensity/volume of the snares stays the same across the whole stream, the only thing you can emphasize is there being a strong beat on every white tick, which you would emphasize by small 1/4 jumps

02:37:212 (5,1) - remove clap from 5 and move to 1, as thats where the snare and ergo the strong note in the song is

02:56:712 (3) - this note needs some kind of spacing emphasis, you even do just that here 02:58:962 (2,3) -

03:00:912 (1) - same as on 01:41:712 (1) -, but this time the second 1/6 burst is 1/4

03:04:512 (1) - remove clap and move to 3

03:20:112 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - remove clap from 5 and move it to 7, remap the stream so the sharp turn starts on 7 and the spacing starting at 7 turns gradually lower to fit with the bass drum. map the last 5 notes normally

03:29:712 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - just remake this as a completely polygonal 9 note stream, or make a polygonal 10 note stream and cut away the tenth note for the gap, the last note completely breaks the curvature of the previous notes

04:01:512 (1,2,3,4) - dont make these overlap the previous patterns, it adds too much clutter

04:06:312 (1,2,3,4) - these need to be emphasized in some way, the piano is more intense here

04:09:312 (1) - make this a simple repeat slider and add a note on the white tick, so the strong note in the song becomes clickable

04:18:012 (1,2,3,4,5) - the drums are still solid 1/4 here and since you didnt follow the guitar with your jumps, you should just map this as a normal stream

04:32:412 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - remap this into something, i cant even see what you were trying to follow in the song

04:33:837 (8,1) - sharp turn on white ticks pls

04:35:112 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - make a consistent curvature here

04:39:762 (4,5) - why is 5 a slider

04:43:212 (2) - this is the same musically as the next notes, so just make it into jumps

04:45:237 (8) - this note doesnt exist in the song

04:54:912 (1) - please follow the guitar here, randomly starting to follow the drums is weird

04:59:712 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - the guitar is quite intense here, so you need to increase the spacing on this. also keep following the guitar afterwards, nothing changes in the music to warrant otherwise

05:09:312 (1) - the curvature on the start of this slider is too sharp compared to after the red node

05:21:912 (1,2,3,4) - map a curve on these

05:30:612 (5,1) - isn't the red tick between those a distinct note

05:33:012 (1,2,3,4,1) - reduce the spacing on this, the guitar isn't even consistently 1/4 here and the drums are being way too quiet aswell

05:48:312 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - the spacing on this needs to be increased, accordingly to the pitch of the guitar

05:49:512 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - ^

05:50:862 (3,4,5,6) - this part is way too linear in this stream, please preserve the curvature of the previous notes

06:18:912 (1) - i see that you want to emphasize the strong snare notes by making them the first clicked notes in the bursts, however, if you do it as you do now you emphasize normal bass drums over other bass drums by having one be a clickable sliderhead and one being unclickable. therefore, you need to change the snares to be the sliderheads

06:20:712 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - the drums are just as loud as on the previous 4 notes and should be spaced accordingly

06:41:978 (1) - the note on 06:42:089 doesn't exist in the song, just map it as a normal 1/3 slider

06:53:089 (5,6) - these two don't exist in the song


Overall I think this map needs to be remapped in order to become ranked, a lot of times (I didn't point them out here because it consistently happens across the whole song) multiple patterns are created too close to each other, creating cluttery overlaps and inconsistent spacing across objects that dont lie right next to each other on the time line. Both of this does not belong in a ranked map.

This stream is overmapped if anything. A more appropriate pattern would be with the white tick option for slider end or something. There is no 1/6th in this section.

Just count the notes inbetween the first white tick and the first red tick, you will find that there are 4, although being slightly inconsistent timing wise, which DragonForce used to do. Same goes for the second burst, although the burst gets progressively slower.
