I could not find much problems for this map, since it was mapped this way.
overall pretty nice, however, the OD is way to high. the idea is, you cant expect people get hype for this song so player wont spin very fast, with od7 I feel its really hard to get 300 on spinners compare to its BPM and difficulty. also I got way too much 100s on notes. OD 5 will help a lot, though I even think OD4 would be enough.
for the AR, same thing, way too high, I really suggest you set it to ar5.5 or ar6.

This is a nice storyboard, good job examination!

  1. AR7.3 is probably too high. For a different perspective, please see my ranked Hard (AR6.5) here: https://osu.ppy.sh/s/325112. I feel like the AR of this map is too high.

  1. 00:30:786 (2,3) - In general, you should map objects in relation to the end of the slider tail, so that the arrows in the default skin point outwards similar to the direction in which the slider is pointing. This is especially true of lower difficulties, so I strongly suggest that you look at all the patterns throughout the map and fix flow issues like these.
  2. 00:38:949 (5,1) - Even if you did this on purpose, I don't think it fits the song. Overlaps like these should be avoided on a simple song like this one. Try using some other differentiating factor like increasing the spacing instead.
  3. 00:44:663 (3,4,5) - For triangle patterns like these, you should really use the "Create Polygon Circles" feature that is built into the editor. Right now your triangle has too much height and not enough width.
  4. 00:52:826 (1,2,3) - Again with flow. I feel like you could make this flow much better by moving slider 3 to the left more. I am going to stop referencing these issues to save time, but you should review your map and make sure that you like every part of it. Change any parts you see fit, after all, it's your map. Sometimes as mappers we feel like we must keep the map the same since we mapped it, but I learned through my experience that even though I mapped something, I can also change it to make it better.
  5. 01:00:786 (3) - There is a strong vocal here, so a circle here doesn't make much sense. I changed this to a slider (ending at 01:00:786 (3) -) and it played much better. I strongly suggest that you try it as well.
  6. 01:02:214 - If you listen to the song, there is a rather strong beat here that can be mapped. I suggest that you add a circle here. Similar for 01:08:745 - and other patterns. I'm not sure if you're doing this intentionally, but it's noticeable enough to bring it up as an issue, especially since 01:08:745 - is part of the melody at 01:07:520 -, etc.
  7. 01:18:133 (6,7,1) - Try making slider 6 a repeat slider instead of forcing the player to tap 1/4 on this quiet part of the song.
  8. 01:38:541 (1,3) - These sliders are a bit too close to my liking. Look at the arrows between slider 1's tail, circle 2, and slider 3's head. As you can see, the objects are not aligned properly. There is an angle between slider 1 and circle 2 but that angle does not exist between circle 2 and slider 3. You should move slider 3 up a bit to fix the angle. It will improve the overall aesthetics of the map if you used consistent angles like this.
  9. 02:11:194 (1,2) - These aren't properly symmetrical about the y-axis.
  10. 01:57:316 (5) - What is the reason for a sharply curved slider here? There is nothing in the music that would call for it, so I think it would be best if you used a simple slider for a simple part of the song, i.e. a straight slider or a curved slider.
  11. 02:02:214 (3,4) - Is there any reason why you're using an anti-spacing pattern here? I think it's best not to overlap them, i.e. place slider 4 somewhere near slider 3 but not exactly near. Since you're emphasizing a vocal wait, it may be better to have the sliders act similarly, i.e. the player should move the same horizontal length. Something like this:

It's probably OK since this is technically a map for approval, but you can also uses sliders here instead to make it a more reasonable difficulty. Beginners playing this map will be confronted with multiple 1/4 circles 2 minutes into the map, which may cause them to lose combo since they usually prefer mouse clicks, etc.
  13. 02:17:316 (4,5,1) - I find this a bit strange, don't you agree? The vocalist holds her note here, so as such, a slider would be ideal.
  14. 02:17:316 (4,5,1) - Similar to what I said above, I think an overlap such as this (slider head semi-hidden by other slider head) does not fit the song nor the other parts of the map very well. Consider the suggestions I mentioned above.
  15. 03:01:806 (3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4,5,6) - Just going to say that this is an awesome pattern. You should use similar patterns where the music allows for it.
  16. 03:26:296 (1,2,3) - It looks like these sliders were not rotated by the same amount of degrees. Did you use the dedicated Rotation Tool or did you just eyeball it? It's best to use the Rotation Tool (Ctrl+Shift+R).
  17. 03:45:888 (1,2,3,4,5) - Is there any reason why you're going down and then back up here? This part 03:47:520 - is part of 03:45:888 -, so it should have similar flow. Something like x:240 y:284 for a Ctrl+J'd version of 03:47:520 (5) - makes more sense. Of course, you will need to adjust the next few objects as needed.
  18. 04:01:398 (5) - Similar to what I mentioned in an above suggestion, this sharp edge does not reflect the nature of this part of the song.
  19. 04:37:724 (8) - Why is this stacked with 6? Based on the other patterns in 04:34:867 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) -, circle 8 should be slightly above circle 6.
  20. 05:10:786 (1) - This slider ends too early. The vocal ends at 05:12:010 -, so the note needs to be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, when the repeat is at 05:11:398 -, it plays much better IMO.
  21. 05:13:235 (3,4,5) - This part of the song is much too quiet to have the player go through something like this. Instead, you can keep the rhythm but make the pattern simpler by adding more repeats to a single slider instead of using multiple sliders. Another fine option would be to use slider art to represent the rhythm, like most Normal difficulties do.
  22. 05:33:643 (1,2,1) - Uh oh, looks like Circle 1 isn't symmetrical across the y-axis.
  23. 05:43:030 - You can't do this since the wait time between the spinner and the next object is 1/2. As you can observe, the next circle shows up before the spinner finishes, giving the player little time to react, especially in an easier difficulty. Try using a different pattern or adjusting the spinner time instead.
  24. Here's a summary of what I suggest: use more flow, some parts need to be fixed in order to be symmetrical, use sliders for hold notes and other long patterns by the vocalist.

What does the difficulty name mean? Is it related to the song? edit nevermind I finally understand what the description means that's pretty cute

Consider lowering the OD by a smidge, it's overly easy to get 100s while playing this compared to how easy the map is.

  1. 00:33:235 (1,2) - Maybe make 2 blanket the end of 1 instead? They're close enough that when it doesn't it looks a bit weird since the end of 2 gets a bit uncomfortably close to 1.
  2. 00:47:928 (4) - This doesn't follow the curve that you were making with 4's head and 00:47:520 (2,3) - Consider changing 4 to curve more to the left to fix this.
  3. 01:18:133 (6,7) - Maybe reduce the spacing between these two notes, a 3.6 ds jump is a bit heavy compared to the map previously, and it's quite easy to slider break on (6) from trying to reach (7) in time. Even 2.5 or 3.0 should fit better.
  4. 01:22:214 (1) - Try moving the red anchor so that the ball will be centered on it at the red tick, making it bounce in time to the song more accurately.

  2. 00:38:949 (5,1) - So you said it's supposed to be a Hard, right? Then you should try to keep the flow as simple as possible, especially when using jumps like this.
  3. 00:44:663 (3,4,5,6) - Vocals would give a nice 2-2 pattern, so the current placement doesn't emphasize it at all.
  4. 00:47:928 (4,1) - There's a whole 1/1 gap so you could place it a bit further away without any problems.
  5. 00:53:643 (2) - This circle could have a little emphasis like the object afterwards too because of the "unique" vocal on it.
  6. 01:00:173 (2,3) - Why are they overlapping way less than 01:05:888 (1,2) ?
  7. 01:13:235 (2,3) - You used ^ this pattern before, that's exactly the same part but your rhythm usage is different here. Please stay as consistent as possible in such easy diffs.

For example:
02:48:745 (3,4,5,6) - this passage doesn't tell me much. Why is it like that?
03:13:235 (1,2,3,4) - all these 4 shapes at once don't tell me anything once again. Why do they have that direction and they are curved like that?
04:12:010 (1) - slider shapes are like accessories you put on your map: they must be similar in concept (they need to fit together). And this shape looks a bit random compared to the rest.

Summed up: this map needs more structure (aka, planning before hand of patterns), since in general note placement feels random to me :/

On a side note, to clarify what I wanted to say through my mod:
I mainly focused on all those DS errors since I thought bringing up structure everywhere would have made a bigger mod (as Stjpa mentioned).
To explain structure in a different way: take a building. Now, buildings usually have many floors, divided in different rooms, right? the same process it is usually applied for all floors.
Structure is exactly like that: how you divide each floor, by keeping all the floors divided the same way.

If we port this concept into mapping it means dividing your song in different parts and identifying the similar ones. Once you do this you gotta divide each part is other smaller parts where the same rhythm occurs and therefore you have to use similar patterns.

Maybe it's not so easy to understand but with practice you'll learn what I mean

also i agree that timing feels a bit off. a check timing from pro timer would be nice

Asked a QAT about the timing and we decided that we put "592" as the offset.

Alright, new rules has just been applied.

Storyboard images must not exceed a width of 1920 pixels and a height of 1200 pixels. The storyboard editor works based on osu! pixels with an internal maximum width of 854 pixels and a height of 480 pixels. If you are using an image bigger than that, you may need to scale accordingly.
