Hey, so heres the mod from m4m :3

00:15:666 (3) - Whistle at sliderstart (everytime i meantion whistle i mean soft whistles.)
00:16:554 (1,2) - Either add soft whistle at the end of 1 or remove the one at the end of 2
00:18:554 (2,3) - Whistle at 2 or sliderstart of 3
00:28:999 (1) - Whistle at sliderend
00:30:332 (4,1) - Whistle at end of 4 or beginning of 1
00:32:999 (2) - Whistle at sliderstart

00:02:332 (7,8,1,2) - One of these triplets shouldnt be a triplet. This doesnt fit because its kinda random without any sign of the music having beats on these points. Doing this 3 times in a row destroys the flow. If you do 00:02:332 (1) - into a circle will be much better to play.
01:56:555 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - This 1/6 doesnt fit since the piano isnt 1/6 too. You should do this 1/8 and make sliders out of it so it plays like 1/4, this will fit the piano and it wont be awkward to play like it would be at 1/6.

The thing that really isnt goot at this map is the hitsounding though. Im really sorry but things like this when you make blue ticks and then the next white tick a beat: 01:47:221 (1,2,3,4) - With the drum claps... please no :c just please
Also using ONLY drum hitsounds sounds reaaaaaally boring. For example you could look at the soft whistles in hard. most soft whistles are good placed or just use soft whistles instead of most drum claps you used there, would be so much better. Also soft/normal finishes make the hitsounds so much better. Should really change this hitsounding tbh.
00:00:555 (1) - Theres even a "finish" sound in the song here, you should REALLY add finishes at such points of the song (please no drum finish though xD).

Another thing that you have to change is the NC's. They seem random in a lot of spots in this map
00:02:777 (1,2,1) - Here for example 2 random nc's? Make NC's when listening to the music and not based on what you mapped. And here its definitely better to make a NC every big white tick. Also you should really do it consistent
Like you did it on the first big white tick, then the second big white tick and then randomly 2 NC's ? .. makes no sense. ^^

The thing that really isnt goot at this map is the hitsounding though. Im really sorry but things like this when you make blue ticks and then the next white tick a beat: 01:47:221 (1,2,3,4) - With the drum claps... please no :c just please - im newbie to hitsounding actually, removed them - they really sounded awkward
Also using ONLY drum hitsounds sounds reaaaaaally boring. For example you could look at the soft whistles in hard. most soft whistles are good placed or just use soft whistles instead of most drum claps you used there, would be so much better. Also soft/normal finishes make the hitsounds so much better. Should really change this hitsounding tbh.
00:00:555 (1) - Theres even a "finish" sound in the song here, you should REALLY add finishes at such points of the song (please no drum finish though xD). - i changed drums with finishes at "such points"

Another thing that you have to change is the NC's. They seem random in a lot of spots in this map
00:02:777 (1,2,1) - Here for example 2 random nc's? Make NC's when listening to the music and not based on what you mapped. And here its definitely better to make a NC every big white tick. Also you should really do it consistent - 00:02:777 (3) - removed NC here

Add another diff inbetween Refaller's hard and The Anthem of the Heart - nah, Time Capsule was the first to map it, but cuz Desperate-Kun can't map the Normal diff, Capsule's gonna map Normal and im looking for Insane GD currently.

- Especially in the beginning it feels weird playing these long sliders to the vocals when there's a clear rhythm given by the instuments that suggests a higher object density.
- The ratio between slider velocity and spacing between objects is in neither intuitve nor indicated by the music, I would suggest balancing that out a bit
- The jumps at the end seem exaggerated, consider reducing the spacing

If someone will request some small placement improvements for them, I'm gonna look into it, but for now keeping them.

00:00:555 (1) – Mainly a pet peeve, but I disagree with having sliders with random angles in them. Like if they actually match something like a change in pitch go for it, but just having them there because you can doesn’t make sense. There’s a ton of them, but they’re easy to spot so not going to list them out.
00:02:999 (3) – Random soft sound?
00:05:665 (6) – Way too close to 00:05:443 (5) – considering the rest of your ½ notes.
00:04:110 (1) – Slider is randomly straight even though it’s basically the same sound as the bent and later curvy ones. Similar sounds should keep a somewhat consistent shape.
00:09:887 (3) – The second angle should be a little farther down so it matches the beat on 10:777
00:12:999 (1) – Same as before. Also don’t just decide to add a turn for some of the red ticks sounds. Do all or none to keep it consistent.
00:14:554 (2) – 00:18:110 (3) - I would add a beat in both of those, but I get why you left it out.

- The first thing I want to say: A map must have the difficulty go with its beauty. If it is hard but looks horrible, nobody will want to play your map. Lots of thing below are about "improving" its beauty. Don't worry, I won't make your map easier, but only make it more beautiful. 8-)

- 00:12:331 (5) - Aesthetic and gameplay reason. Should stack it with the 3rd note (x:308 y:64).
- 00:24:110 (2,2,3) - This slider is somewhat ugly and the 2rd and 3rd note of the next combo will be better if they aren't overlapped by the slider. Turining all of them into like the image below would be more wonderful.
- 01:08:554 (2,5,2) - The combo here is ugly, too. To fix these without reducing the diff stars, I advise:
+ 01:08:554 (2) - Move it to x:128 y:288.
+ 01:09:443 (5) - Move it to x:216 y:72.
+ 01:10:110 (2) - Move it to x:240 y:76.
- 01:11:888 (2,3,1) - Why not blanket?
- 01:47:221 (1,2,3,4,1) - A trick can be done here. If you want to make the slider tails inaudible, you make some inherited timing points at these tails and turn the volume down (5-25%). Remember to also add inherited timing points at the next slider heads with a higher volume unless you want to deafen the rest of the map.

Done!! There are other things I can show for you to make the map better. However, since it would nerf the map a bit, I won't do it. :!:

I didn't mean I had a problem with them having angles/looking like that or whatever. It's just a matter of them randomly doing it which I don't agree with. If there's a beat then changing the angle makes sense, if there isn't then it doesn't 99% of the time unless they're purely aesthetic (see something like https://osu.ppy.sh/s/269969). The big issue is that there ARE beats in the background, but you ignore them half of the time and make the sliders turn to nothing.

And fitting the angle to the beat shouldn't be that difficult; you can just set your time for the beat and move the angle until it matches the slider ball, at least that's what I do.

I'm not saying big jumps are bad, like if you really want to make a lemur-esque map, go for it. But the jumps should be at least somewhat consistent in size, random gigantic DS changes don't make sense. If you had almost cross map jumps for most of the song and then went full cross map at the most intense part that would be fine (that's just an example, don't make them that big please ;-;). So if you don't want to nerf those to match the other notes, then the other ones should be increased so that the DS changes aren't as extreme.

If I would make them straight/curved without shape like they are now, it would probably not be a problem we're talking about now - I just feel it's unnecessary. When you look at other maps, slider only follow the beat when you can hear it very clearly - here I mapped it depending on vocal mostly.

I'm not saying big jumps are bad, like if you really want to make a lemur-esque map, go for it. But the jumps should be at least somewhat consistent in size, random gigantic DS changes don't make sense. If you had almost cross map jumps for most of the song and then went full cross map at the most intense part that would be fine (that's just an example, don't make them that big please ;-;). So if you don't want to nerf those to match the other notes, then the other ones should be increased so that the DS changes aren't as extreme.

Well, here I can agree with you and after all I'm gonna do something with this - but only placement probably or maybe slightly make DS lower - jumps until 01:52:333 (4) - are not that big as you saying - 01:20:555 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I'm gonna change this part, cuz here actually DS is too big and the last 01:54:332 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - probably placement or something, because the jump is not that long2be so hard - but not today, I feel so bad.
Maybe I just understood you bad or something, sorry. Gonna try to do something with that, thanks again!

01:54:332 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1) - Slightly smaller DS, small placement changed for better flow.

Sliders are aswell the thing I like to map and for this song they fit very good in my opinion. map doesn't look bad I think, sliders too. I'm fine with that. Gonna try to rank it anyway.

  1. 00:02:221 - there's still a sound here so if you think it's too small you can make 00:02:110 (6) - a 1/4 slider. I'd suggest mapping a stream though.
  2. 00:02:332 (1,2,3,1,2,3,4) - I'm not sure what rhythm pattern you're trying to follow here, especially when the two instruments (bass and piano) stress at different places (bass stresses the white ticks while the piano stresses the white tick). Also it breaks the structure that the previous measure had. I suggest you stick to the previous structure 00:00:555 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - so the player can understand the rhythm better. The part after this has to be at least consistent to at least 2 measures (you repeat your structure at least once before having a new variation that also has to be repeated once). Or you can learn from ReFaller's diff where he chooses to follow a particular instrument in a measure whenever it is more prominent.
  3. 00:08:776 (1,2,3,1,2) - If you try to follow the vocal from here on then 00:09:443 (1,2) - This has tobe a 1/2 slider instead.
  4. 00:09:887 (3) - Long sliders like is sometimes a bit boring to play, considering how big the jumps are. You can try making this a 1/1 or 3/2 slider than something different, it still catches the vocal, and it's a bit more interesting to play. 3/2: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6126260 1/1: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/6126313 . Those are just examples :D . There are a lot of places like this in the map so maybe you can take a look at it as well?
  5. 00:20:110 (1,2,3) - Suddenly you break the structure of closely following the vocals here. 1/1 slider should be on the downbeat to catch the vocals so these circles don't fit the music well enough imo.
  6. 00:54:777 (2,3) - jumps like this do not have musical elements strong enough to emphasise so the spacing shouldn't be this big. This applies to a lot of jumps in the map, other than the vocals.
  7. 00:59:222 (1,2,3,4,5) - you broke away from the vocals here you made the player thinks that this should correspond to the vocals with 00:57:443 (1,2) - these so I think you can try to follow the vocal more closely here. http://i.imgur.com/loMrHCW.png .
    The problems I raised above repeat themselves in the second half of this map, so if you think the problems I've raised are legit then you probably want to check them on the second half. Especially the jumps.

    Yeah I think the NCs need to be reworked here since unless you have a specific reason, like, making a pattern more recognisable, NCs should be placed on downbeats, in Easy it should be like one NC per 2 downbeats.
  16. 00:57:443 (2,3) - The slider should be on the downbeat to further emphasise the vocals.
