First Impressions:
Some music is very boring because it is repetitive. Nobody in their right mind will read a novel that is 200 pages of the same word over and over again.
This song is the opposite. It is 200 pages of complete gibberish.
I played your Insane first. It was the prime example of typical iJinJin mapping, nothing new or experimental, and had me wanting to kill myself halfway through because gibberish gets boring quickly.
I then watched Alter Ego, and was actually quite impressed at some of the patterns that were there. I'll point these out later.
However, for every single difficulty, the song is what mainly dictated the mapper's creativity. The mappers only chose to do interesting things because the song made it intuitive. There is nothing inherently creative anywhere in this mapset, and this is what I was looking for in my queue.

We do have a new champion for "dumbest map ever" if this gets ranked so whee, eat it -Kamikaze-

tl;dr gibberish song controls minds of mappers to make a beatmap to its will

I've already spent ten more hours modding than I bargained for this week so leggo

First Impressions:
Some music is very boring because it is repetitive. Nobody in their right mind will read a novel that is 200 pages of the same word over and over again.
This song is the opposite. It is 200 pages of complete gibberish.
I played your Insane first. It was the prime example of typical iJinJin mapping, nothing new or experimental, and had me wanting to kill myself halfway through because gibberish gets boring quickly.
I then watched Alter Ego, and was actually quite impressed at some of the patterns that were there. I'll point these out later.
However, for every single difficulty, the song is what mainly dictated the mapper's creativity. The mappers only chose to do interesting things because the song made it intuitive. There is nothing inherently creative anywhere in this mapset, and this is what I was looking for in my queue.

We do have a new champion for "dumbest map ever" if this gets ranked so whee, eat it -Kamikaze-

tl;dr gibberish song controls minds of mappers to make a beatmap to its will

I've already spent ten more hours modding than I bargained for this week so leggo

00:31:648 (31648|0,31969|1,32290|3,32612|5) - LNs should be shorter, happens many more times Seems legit, applied
01:33:362 (93362|3,93362|2,93362|4) - not understanding these staggered LN releases, if you did it just to look cool it doesn't really work because it doesn't fit anything in the music Well the holding piano sound does fit, and did not put it just for the coolness of the difficulty; however I could consider remaking this part.

Shouldn't the song be called "Doppelgänger" instead of "Doppelganger" ? At least thats how the german word is written... (you can write the ä with alt+132 or simply replace it with ae)
anyway nice beatmap, stay crazy and get this ranked :P

two hardest diffs are waaay beyond me

Im very happy with how Interlude's diff turned out and i did check it with no personal issues

A few personal issues with Insane:
00:51:576 - what what what? No i just can't. This could be much better in terms of difficulty. Not fan of diff drops like that
A lack of SV's is also a personal issue, it's an Insane diff and there should be at least a few SVs here and there, slowjams should be enough

no kds but you have my favorite and my support

I am aware that the word is german in origin and the correct way to spell it is Doppelgänger, but the official metadata from BMS is LeaF - Doppelganger so I'm just following that (and Loctav's ranked taiko mapset also follows this metadata)

It was mentioned before, but I decided to keep it because I like the idea of having a lower pitch on the right side :(
