  1. BPM and Offset : ( ✓ )
  2. Aimod : ( ✓ )
  3. Kiai : ( ✓ )
  4. Metadata : ( × ) number increments like so 3516 ---(+908)---> 4424 ---(+908)---> 5332 ----(+904 +904)----> 7140 maybe you might wanna tweak the last number a bit

all else fails you could just use fibbonaci numbers in the order of 16, 17, 18 and 19
because golden spiral golden ratio and whatever math thing

im not too sure whether the numbers do represent the diffs best, its fine to me but you might wanna check on it
  5. Hitsound : ( ? ) since you just revived this
  6. Video : ( ✓ )

2^2 × 3 × 5 × 7 × 17

the ending really buttsecked me a little too hard, i was not expecting that at all tbqh
mainly would be focusing on toning down the ending a little

01:15:676 (75676|2,75676|0,75788|1,75788|0,75901|0,75901|2,76014|1,76014|0,76127|2,76127|0) - for sections like these id suggest splitting the jack right at the middle and handing it over to the other hand
img
this pattern would be way kinder on the hands

01:17:706 (77706|0) - shift to right col, left looks too clogged
also for the above^ 01:17:254 (77254|1,77254|3,77367|1,77367|2,77480|2,77480|1,77593|2,77593|1,77706|2,77706|1,77818|2,77818|1) maybe you could do something like (mark)
img
this, would be way kinder on the hands too

01:17:931 (77931|0,78044|0,78157|0,78269|0,78269|1,78608|1,78608|0,78721|0,78833|0,78946|0,79059|0,79059|1) - felt that the pressure on the left is a little too much
01:18:382 (78382|2,78382|3,78495|2,78495|3) - dont think this deserves to be jacked on 2 cols. tbh
from 01:18:269 - squished the notes to make it fit on one screen. also this is for the above two suggestions
something like this gives both hands a run for the money. well at least it feels like it does to me.

01:19:059 (79059|1,79172|2,79172|1,79285|1,79285|2) - if this is jacked then 01:19:961 (79961|3,79961|1,80074|0,80074|2,80187|3,80187|1) - 01:20:300 (80300|0,80300|1,80412|0,80412|2,80525|3,80525|1) - why arent these jacked then?
01:20:412 - also triple here pls
from 01:20:300 -
i tried keeping the 3 note jacks to preserve what you did, dk if i broke anything. also i balanced the jacks a little here too.

01:22:330 (82330|0,82330|1,82442|0,82442|1,82555|1,82555|0) - rather you keep jacking here on both hands tbqh, crtl-h 01:22:330 (82330|1,82442|1,82555|1,82668|2) -
ALSO crlt-h the above thing makes this 01:22:668 (82668|2,82781|2,82894|2) - jack thing go away, ive noticed in similar sections (at like 01:23:570 -) they dont feature this three note thing so

01:25:149 (85149|2,85262|2,85375|2,85488|2) - would rather you not have the jack from before flow into this section, 01:25:488 (85488|1,85488|2,85600|1) - move to the left by 1 and 01:25:713 (85713|0) - to the right by 2

01:26:277 (86277|2,86390|2,86503|2) - idk if these are unintentional or not, best if you could remove them as established above.

01:29:097 (89097|1,89209|1,89209|3,89322|1,89322|3,89435|3) - i dont really like having the jacks be in the same col as before, maybe you could shift them.
01:29:548 (89548|1,89548|0,89660|0,89660|1,89773|1,89773|0) - same thing about having these jacks, best if you could spread the load to the other hand

01:29:886 (89886|3,89886|0,89886|2) - since you already did the 3 note jack thing for all similar sections here (see 01:30:337 (90337|1,90337|0,90337|3) - 01:30:788 (90788|0,90788|2,90788|3) - 01:31:239 (91239|1,91239|0,91239|3) - ) you might wanna have a 3 note jack thing here too

01:30:901 (90901|2) - to 2 please, 01:30:788 (90788|2,90901|2,91014|2,91127|2) - pretty sure this is a mistake innit

01:31:691 - same thing here as with (mark), dont wish to suggest too many patterns lest i break your map

01:33:495 (93495|1,93608|1,93721|1,93833|0,93946|0,94059|0) - maybe for here you might wanna do something like at 01:34:397 (94397|0,94510|0,94623|1,94736|0,94848|0,94961|1) - just to give the player a little break. after all theyre the same sections arent they

01:36:427 (96427|3,96540|3,96653|3,96766|3,96879|3,96991|3,97104|3) - mang please :c

01:39:473 (99473|1,99585|2,99698|2) - would be ideal if this was crtl-g'd
if you did ^^ then 01:39:811 (99811|1) - to 3, 01:39:924 (99924|2) - to 1, 01:40:036 (100036|2,100149|1) - crtl-h

01:42:518 - you can exit the section with 1/8s
img
1/8s here are nicer because the sound is kinda dying out

01:43:589 - note on 1/8 at 3 pls (same for 5332)

00:32:480 - 00:34:285 - 00:36:089 - why are these empty tho

yup nothing more than that, mainly just chorus things

i couldnt find anything in 5332 wtf

i guess other than the chorus in 7140 id say the next big thing would be the diff jump from 5332 to 7140; its a tad bit too big for my tastes tbh. maybe you could look into making another diff in the middle or buffing up 5332, idk

obligatory 5332 is fun on DT comment thing

sorry if i only modded one diff :c

hope my mod helped either way

good luck with rank

if you need any clarification ill either reply to your reply or you could just PM me about it or smth

Thanks for your work, it was a biiiiig help from you, I revised the chorus as you suggested + some tweaks, and remade 5332 so it's a light handstream in the chorus now (should decrease the gap a bit).

Also the numbers stay as they are because they aren't random :P

im really interested; care to explain the rationale behind the numbers ?:

Yo, NM from queue~
I mod very pitched based, don't take my suggestions as critism~ :3
There is no real pitch to follow in your map .-.

Columns
| 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |

3516

● 00:55:375 (55375|0,55600|3) - Why don't you jack those for the drums like you did there - 00:48:157 (48157|1,48382|1) - ? It has the same sound.
● 01:04:397 (64397|2,64623|3) - Why no jack like there - 01:02:593 (62593|1,62818|1) - ? Same sound.
● 01:09:811 (69811|0,70036|2) - ^
● 01:11:615 (71615|1,71841|3) - ^
● Everything else seems fine! :3 Well, except for the difficulty names. In standard osu you're not allowed to use custom names except for the hardest difficulty and I think this applies to mania as well. (Or at least it should be obvious enough; I don't get the diff names .-.)

4424

● 00:30:337 (30337|3,30337|0,30563|2,30788|2,30788|0,31014|0,31014|1,31239|0,31239|1,31465|0,31465|1) - For this pattern - I have no idea why the single note there - 00:30:563 (30563|2) - is not a double. The sound is the same and there's no real need to emphasize the doubles with jacking. You emphasized it better in your 3516 diff.
● 00:44:773 (44773|3,44773|0,45224|2,45224|0,45676|3,45676|1,46127|3,46127|0,46578|3,46578|1,46578|0) - Why did you emphasize those doubles by not putting notes in between? There should be notes in between since the sound is well noticable.
● 01:53:345 (113345|0,113345|3,113345|1) - Why is there a triple? It sounds like - 00:10:488 (10488|0,10488|1) - and there is only a double. No need for a triple there~
● 02:00:563 (120563|0,120563|1,120563|3) - These are okay to be a triple since there is the finish hearable.

5332

● Really well made map! I didn't find anything in the hardest map neither~

Good luck ranking! :3

● 00:55:375 (55375|0,55600|3) - Why don't you jack those for the drums like you did there - 00:48:157 (48157|1,48382|1) - ? It has the same sound. I tried to accent the fact that the piano plays a high-pitched sound on the second note, while this is mapped for those drums, I wanted to kinda snatch a bit of the other layer here. No change unless people convince me to do so :D
● 01:04:397 (64397|2,64623|3) - Why no jack like there - 01:02:593 (62593|1,62818|1) - ? Same sound. okay here it's reasonable to map the drum and pianodrum on the same column ;) applied for this and next three ones
● 01:09:811 (69811|0,70036|2) - ^
● 01:11:615 (71615|1,71841|3) - ^

The sound is the same and there's no real need to emphasize the doubles with jacking. You emphasized it better in your 3516 diff. there's no drum in this place, that's why the note is single. I rearranged it a tiny bit though so there's no double now.
● 00:44:773 (44773|3,44773|0,45224|2,45224|0,45676|3,45676|1,46127|3,46127|0,46578|3,46578|1,46578|0) - Why did you emphasize those doubles by not putting notes in between? There should be notes in between since the sound is well noticable. while this is true, I focus on the drums here, and I don't map the "rave" backgroundish sounds across the diff (unlike the higher ones). Stays until someone else points it out.
● 01:53:345 (113345|0,113345|3,113345|1) - Why is there a triple? It sounds like - 00:10:488 (10488|0,10488|1) - and there is only a double. No need for a triple there~ The crash, of course ;)
● 02:00:563 (120563|0,120563|1,120563|3) - These are okay to be a triple since there is the finish hearable.

Good luck ranking! :3

Thanks! :3 <3

Also, about the diffnames, they are clearly indicating the difficulty (higher number - harder difficulty) so I see no problem with them.
Anyone curious why those numbers and not the other, it's just a simple visualisation of the map difficulty, however they are arranged so that they have something in common :)

THis looks a bit "bad/repetitive" Did you intend to do this?

01:28:533 you have two sets of jacks that happen in the same column ( 01:29:435 )
i would recommend moving one of the over

THe rest of the map looks great

THis looks a bit "bad/repetitive" Did you intend to do this? yes and no, the repeated chord is intentional but I've fixed the big anchor on 3

01:28:533 you have two sets of jacks that happen in the same column ( 01:29:435 )
i would recommend moving one of the over actually I didn't notice that I can do it, I also added the jacks in the second part of the chorus.

00:45:676 (45676|3,45676|1,46127|0,46127|3) - Move these notes to column |1| and |3| respectively to align with 00:45:224 (45224|2,45224|0) - since they have the same pitch/rhythm to follow.

00:49:736 (49736|3) - Move to |3| then 00:50:187 - Add note to |1| for consistency as you will notice the pattern before this part 00:47:706

01:01:014 (61014|2) - Remove not necessary because this part has a low beat sound and rhythm/pitch for it to be 3 noted.

00:45:676 (45676|1) - Move to |1| for consistency since they have the same rhythm/pitch as 00:45:224 (45224|3,45224|0,46127|0,46127|3) - there's a kick at this sound, so it's slightly different, this is why one note is on the same column and the other is off :)

00:53:119 (53119|2) - Move to |1| for consistency based on rhythm Actually I wanted some tweak on that but I see that it's sensible to put them in one column

00:57:856 (57856|1,58307|0,58758|1) - Move to |1| - |2| - |1| then 00:58:984 (58984|0,59209|0) - Move to column |2| for better pattern and consistency very nice, applied

00:57:405 (57405|1) - Move to |1| then 00:58:082 (58082|3,58307|0,58533|3) - Ctrl + H then 00:57:856 (57856|2,58758|2) - Move to column |4| for consistency notice the pattern here 01:05:074 good pattern

01:29:660 (89660|3,89773|2,89886|1) - Move to the left side by 1 column for consistency of pattern as you will notice the patterns below this. of course

01:51:991 (111991|1,112442|2,112668|3) - Move to the left by 1 column for better pattern and hand balance coordination I remade the pattern but good idea

01:57:405 (117405|0) - Move to |3| for consistency oke!

[4424]

00:06:879 (6879|3,6879|2) - Move to |1| - |2| for consistency I mirrored the pattern using your suggestion

00:10:036 (10036|0,10036|2) - Move to |2| - |4| for consistency to counterpart this 00:09:134 (9134|2,9134|0) - good idea, tweaked a bit

00:45:676 (45676|3,45676|1,46127|0,46127|3) - Move these notes to column |1| and |3| respectively to align with 00:45:224 (45224|2,45224|0) - since they have the same pitch/rhythm to follow. I made the pattern inversed than the lower diff, but with the same disciple.

00:49:736 (49736|3) - Move to |3| then 00:50:187 - Add note to |1| for consistency as you will notice the pattern before this part 00:47:706 I can't do it, I want the chords to be contradictory (23 and 14), and I won't add note because it's piano only without kick

01:01:014 (61014|2) - Remove not necessary because this part has a low beat sound and rhythm/pitch for it to be 3 noted.

01:53:345 (113345|1) - Same reason as above^^

[5332]

00:46:127 (46127|3) - Move to |3| for pattern consistency as i can see on this part this one 00:45:676 (45676|1,45676|3,45676|0) - becomes 3 noted because there's that one hard beat like sound that these two 00:45:224 (45224|0,45224|2,46127|0,46127|3) - doesn't have. 00:45:224 and 00:46:127 Have the same pitch/rhythm/beat true

01:00:337 (60337|3,60337|2) - Move to |2| - |3| for consistency since they have the same pitch/rhythm as 00:59:886 I remapped it into something cool

[7140]

00:12:179 (12179|2) - Move to |2| for consistency

00:13:871 (13871|2,13871|1,13984|1) - Move to |1| |2| and |3| instead for consistency For those changes I did add a third jack in [12] so now it goes like [34][23][12] in chords so it's kinda consistent

00:23:570 (23570|1) - Move to |1| then 00:24:021 (24021|2) - Move to |4| based on rhythm. Notice the beat/rhythm of these three 00:23:119 (23119|0,23119|1,23119|3,23570|3,23570|1,23570|2,24021|3,24021|2,24021|0) - I made something different instead

00:30:224 (30224|1) - Move to |3| instead I don't see the reason, usually there's a jack in this place

01:55:036 (115036|1) - Move to |3| for consistency

01:56:728 (116728|1,116728|2,116841|2) - Move to |3| |4| - |2| for consistency since the song fades out I can apply both :)

Hi,
All comments are suggestions; take them or leave them, its up to you! xD

First of all, i don't see what's so wrong with the difficuelty names, I like it. Secondly, it's a relatively short mod as I couldn't find too much wrong with some of the diff's as they had good structure, despite them containing sooooo many jacks (I'm talking to you 7140).

3516 & 7140
They're fine, nicely mapped and consistent

5332
00:10:036 - add note here to make it a triple, goes with the same sound as the triple at00:09:585 (9585|3,9585|2,9585|0) -

00:24:473 - maybe add a triple here, feels appropriate

00:36:202 - why no jumpstream burst here like the previous two?

00:43:420 - same here

00:45:224 - triple

00:46:127 - triple

01:07:781 - triple

4424
01:44:097 (104097|1) - double?
That's it xD

Overall, nice mapset, even if the star rating can be deceiving xD
Good luck

00:10:036 - add note here to make it a triple, goes with the same sound as the triple at00:09:585 (9585|3,9585|2,9585|0) - actually it does not, there's no kick in the background unlike the previous chord

00:24:473 - maybe add a triple here, feels appropriate a double would be okay but I want to accent the melody, adding the chord in it would kinda destroy it

00:36:202 - why no jumpstream burst here like the previous two? I map chords to kick sounds, there are no kick sounds here

00:43:420 - same here

00:45:224 - triple

00:46:127 - triple

01:07:781 - triple for those three, I add triples only when there is kick and snare at the same time, the ones you mentioned have only the snare.

4424
01:44:097 (104097|1) - double? I don't add chord for kick in the entire section, so denied
That's it xD

Overall, nice mapset, even if the star rating can be deceiving xD

For future modders, most of the doubles that are "missing" from 01:15:450 - to 01:44:322 - in 6236 are probably intentional. There are certain sounds that I would want to emphasise and layering certain additional sounds would convolute the essence of a certain rhythm. That being said though, thanks customdriver for taking my GD.

Patterns are generally fine, minitrills in inward columns are usually easier than ones outside of to begin with.
  2. 00:14:773 (14773|2) - this one, move to column 4 for consistency and it's not comfortable with these notes 00:14:773 (14773|2,14886|1,14999|2) same deal with above.

You probably have to add difficulty tags to the numbers. Also, shouldn't 6236 be Shoegazer's 6236? I prefer 6236 since it doesn't break the flow of the difficulty names - all of them are 4 characters long at the moment and I want to keep it that way.

  2. 00:05:300 (5300|1,5412|0) - Not quite sure, but minijack here? A bit too light to be a minijack - the main reason why there are minijacks in this section is because there are notable kick-kick sections that would be too weak if they were just broken triplets.
  3. 01:00:112 (60112|2) - Missed one here We talked about this just now, the kicks are singles (consecutive ones become single jacks) because having them as doubles would be too overwhelming. There's one specific section that kinda breaks this, 01:05:300 to 01:06:766, but it's also not possible to use that layering scheme without making it too hard, especially when the drums are meant to be [34] or [12] in this section. So, I'll reconsider this section - thanks for bringing this up.
  4. 01:04:679 (64679|2) - To what is this snapped? Piano flam.
  5. 01:44:097 (104097|2,104322|2) - You're missing 1/8's here I can hear the 1/8s here for sure, but by then the kick would be prominent and the 1/8 sound becomes too quiet for them to really matter.

Hope you find something useful in this shitmod, jacks aren't really my cup of tea D:
Also, get this ranked. I want to see this get downvoted into oblivtion ;) Have some stars!
Thanks for the mod - while I didn't change anything (for now) it was a good recall of what I was trying to convey in certain sections.

  1. 00:05:074 (5074|2) - Butt master
  2. 01:00:788 (60788|3) - Why the double here? there's the kick
  3. 01:15:281 (75281|3) - Mmh, fells kinda weird, 01:15:224 (75224|0) if you move that to 4, you can add 01:15:281 (75281|0) and go for the 1-4 trill? I understand your idea but I think this transition is smoother than what you suggested.
  4. 01:44:097 (104097|2,104322|3) - Is also 1/8, same suggestion as above, 1-4 trill here? didn't notice the sound, fixed
  5. 01:42:687 (102687|3) - What is this? Booo, I want my 1-4 trills here!okay

I feel like the jack placement in the Kiai is a bit random, but I'm not too familiar with jack patterns and such it's not
  1. 00:17:593 (17593|2,17649|3,17706|2) - 1/8 hand trill, might want to remove 00:17:706 (17706|2) done
  2. 00:24:924 (24924|1) - ^, there's more of em
Hope you find something useful in this shitmod, jacks aren't really my cup of tea D:
Also, get this ranked. I want to see this get downvoted into oblivtion ;) Have some stars!

3516 -> 4424 -> 5332 -> 6236 -> 7140.
Why those numbers, find it out.

I'ma start modding this once I figure out what the diff names mean q.q I'm too stupid, I only managed to figure out the first two and I gave up on the rest lol.

Your BG has some particles on it, so if you want, I could do a storyboard with some minimalist effects like upward particles and some blinks if you want.

  1. For Shoegazer's GD, shouldn't the diff name be "Shoegazer's 6236"?
  2. For 7140, I'd recommend setting your OD a little higher since there are 0 LNs in it and it's all short notes.
  3. OD ~8.2 might be a little better for 5332 cause of no LNs.
  4. Last thing is I think you should set the HP a little higher on all the diffs cause it's all bursty but idk.
[5332]00:08:909 (8909|0) - Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're only mapping the synths, kicks, and snares in the intro section right? So then why is this note here? There's only a hihat here and no synth.
00:10:713 (10713|0) - ^^
00:26:728 (26728|0,26954|0,27179|0) - This stack doesn't look that visually appealing, nor does it play well imo. I think moving 00:26:954 (26954|0) to 2 would be better so you don't jack 3 1/1 notes.
00:30:788 (30788|0,30788|2) - Two suggestions here: this is the same sound as the one at 00:23:570 but the difference is that you used a double for the first set of notes I highlighted, whereas 00:23:570 (23570|0,23570|1,23570|3) is a triple. So, you can either add a note to 00:30:788 or remove one from 00:23:570
00:37:668 (37668|1,37781|2) - I'd consider removing these notes to accent the pause in the instruments and the synth at 00:37:894 (37894|1)
00:48:157 (48157|2) - Shouldn't this be a double note since 00:49:961 (49961|2,49961|1) is and they're the same sound.
00:57:405 (57405|2,57405|3) - Me being a PR nazi here, but the chord here is lower in pitch than the one at 00:55:600 (55600|2,55600|3) yet they're the same {34} chord. So I'd recommend making 00:57:405 (57405|2,57405|3) a {12} chord or something similar like that.
01:00:112 (60112|3,60112|1) - I think it'd be cool to make a stack with 00:59:660 (59660|0,59660|2,60563|0,60563|2) since they're all the same snare, interrupted by a kick, so maybe try something like this?
01:07:781 (67781|0,67781|3) - Why not use a different chord for this kick, because right now, it looks like this is the same sound as 01:08:006 (68006|3,68006|0,68119|0,68119|3) since they're the same {14} placement.
01:11:051 (71051|3,71164|2,71277|1) - The snares here are almost inaudible (or they're not they're at all), so I'd recommend removing them.
01:15:450 - I don't really understand the triples in this section because they feel really forced since they're only kicks similar to 01:16:352 (76352|2,76352|1) so there's no real reason to make them more emphasized.
01:18:608 (78608|2,78608|0,78608|1) - Piggy backing on the above idea, since this note is only a kick, I'd consider removing the note in 1 in order to avoid a tiring 4 note jack.
01:19:172 (79172|1,79285|0) - You started using a pattern of jacks in this section, and then you stopped. I would recommend keeping them for pitch relevancy, which would mean that these notes need to be jacked together.
01:19:510 (79510|0,79623|1) - These two should be in whatever column the previous two notes are in.
01:20:074 (80074|1,80187|2,80412|0,80525|1) - ^^ and you start to get the idea.
01:26:390 (86390|2,86503|0,86615|3) - If you follow pitch relevancy here, control H since 01:26:503 is higher than 01:26:615 . If not following PR, I'd suggest arranging your notes in a {2-3-4} roll for playability
01:43:589 (103589|0) - I think the 1/8 roll starts at 01:43:645 so this is a ghost note...?
01:42:518 to 01:42:743 - There should be a 1/8 roll here?

[4424]00:14:322 (14322|2,14435|1) - You don't map the other synths here, so remove these?
00:16:127 (16127|3,16239|2) - I'd also consider removing these in this diff because the start of the synths is very quiet for these first two notes, only reaching full volume at 00:16:352
00:24:698 - Why not add a 1/2 LN here for the drum roll? If accepted, I guess you could control H 00:24:585 (24585|1,24698|2) and add the LN at 2.
00:47:254 to 00:47:931 - At 00:50:863 (50863|1,50863|2,51089|2,51089|1,51315|2,51315|1) you make all the notes jacked with each other, so for consistency, why not do the same here with all these doubles?
00:53:570 (53570|2,53570|1,53683|3,53683|0,53796|1,53796|2) - And for these notes here, I'd try and do the same thing you did in 5332 and jack 00:53:570 (53570|2,53570|1,53683|0,53683|3) together.
01:00:788 (60788|0) - Again, maybe try a 1/2 LN here for the drum roll?
01:11:051 (71051|3,71164|2,71277|0) - As I mentioned in the last difficulty, these sounds are almost inaudible and very difficult to hear, which is why I'd consider removing them.
01:52:217 (112217|3,112217|2,112668|0,112668|1) - Why are these doubles when their sound is only a hihat? Most people are probably assuming you're just following the drum here, so it makes no sense to layer a synth over this hihat click to make a double note.

[3516]00:08:570 (8570|1,8570|0) - This is your easiest diff, which is why I'm kind of against using a pattern like this since it's not really beginner friendly. I think it would be fine if you just removed a note at 1 to make it a minitrill.
00:10:262 (10262|0,10262|1,10375|2,10375|3) - ^^ and basically what I said as above, but it's up to you anyways.
00:17:706 - For this entire section, you accent the downbeat, which is understandable as that's the heavy beat (normally), but the snares are on beats 2 and 4 or 00:18:157 - 00:19:059 - for example, so shouldn't the accent come on those beats instead?
00:33:157 and 00:34:961 - Why don't you just finish mapping the synth here and make a minitrill, so it'd be something like this
01:21:766 (81766|2) - Move this to 1 to restore some hand balance because 01:21:315 to 01:22:668 is very right hand heavy.
01:43:420 to 01:44:322 - Rather than use notes to represent the drum roll, why not just add an LN for it instead. I think it helps with building up to the ending section.
I decided to focus more on the lower diffs for no other reason than I can play them properly lol. Anyways, gl with rank

  1. For Shoegazer's GD, shouldn't the diff name be "Shoegazer's 6236"?
  2. For 7140, I'd recommend setting your OD a little higher since there are 0 LNs in it and it's all short notes. I'll leave it as 8.5 because of jacking and burst difficulties
  3. OD ~8.2 might be a little better for 5332 cause of no LNs. okay
  4. Last thing is I think you should set the HP a little higher on all the diffs cause it's all bursty but idk. I think it's okay
[5332]00:08:909 (8909|0) - Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're only mapping the synths, kicks, and snares in the intro section right? So then why is this note here? There's only a hihat here and no synth. nice catch, you're right
00:10:713 (10713|0) - ^^
00:26:728 (26728|0,26954|0,27179|0) - This stack doesn't look that visually appealing, nor does it play well imo. I think moving 00:26:954 (26954|0) to 2 would be better so you don't jack 3 1/1 notes. done
00:30:788 (30788|0,30788|2) - Two suggestions here: this is the same sound as the one at 00:23:570 but the difference is that you used a double for the first set of notes I highlighted, whereas 00:23:570 (23570|0,23570|1,23570|3) is a triple. So, you can either add a note to 00:30:788 or remove one from 00:23:570 there's a loud kick at the first highlighted section and only snare on the second, so no change
00:37:668 (37668|1,37781|2) - I'd consider removing these notes to accent the pause in the instruments and the synth at 00:37:894 (37894|1) okay, sounds reasonable
00:48:157 (48157|2) - Shouldn't this be a double note since 00:49:961 (49961|2,49961|1) is and they're the same sound. obviously
00:57:405 (57405|2,57405|3) - Me being a PR nazi here, but the chord here is lower in pitch than the one at 00:55:600 (55600|2,55600|3) yet they're the same {34} chord. So I'd recommend making 00:57:405 (57405|2,57405|3) a {12} chord or something similar like that. good!
01:00:112 (60112|3,60112|1) - I think it'd be cool to make a stack with 00:59:660 (59660|0,59660|2,60563|0,60563|2) since they're all the same snare, interrupted by a kick, so maybe try something like this? wow what a good mod
01:07:781 (67781|0,67781|3) - Why not use a different chord for this kick, because right now, it looks like this is the same sound as 01:08:006 (68006|3,68006|0,68119|0,68119|3) since they're the same {14} placement. because it's the same sound XD
01:11:051 (71051|3,71164|2,71277|1) - The snares here are almost inaudible (or they're not they're at all), so I'd recommend removing them. they stay because they are actually here and it would ruin the uplifting flow of the section
01:15:450 - I don't really understand the triples in this section because they feel really forced since they're only kicks similar to 01:16:352 (76352|2,76352|1) so there's no real reason to make them more emphasized. I made that back when 6236 didn't exist, to make the gap between 7140 smaller. Now you are right, I can revert it to all doubles.
I didn't make all of them jacks to make this diff easier + 6236 does what you mean to do
01:19:510 (79510|0,79623|1) - These two should be in whatever column the previous two notes are in.
If not following PR, I'd suggest arranging your notes in a {2-3-4} roll for playability I made a tweak here with trill play
01:43:589 (103589|0) - I think the 1/8 roll starts at 01:43:645 so this is a ghost note...? maybe
01:42:518 to 01:42:743 - There should be a 1/8 roll here? maybe

[4424]00:14:322 (14322|2,14435|1) - You don't map the other synths here, so remove these? ok

00:47:254 to 00:47:931 - At 00:50:863 (50863|1,50863|2,51089|2,51089|1,51315|2,51315|1) you make all the notes jacked with each other, so for consistency, why not do the same here with all these doubles? ok changed it a bit
00:53:570 (53570|2,53570|1,53683|3,53683|0,53796|1,53796|2) - And for these notes here, I'd try and do the same thing you did in 5332 and jack 00:53:570 (53570|2,53570|1,53683|0,53683|3) together. this difficulty isn't supposed to have jacks so it will stay as a trill
01:00:788 (60788|0) - Again, maybe try a 1/2 LN here for the drum roll?
01:11:051 (71051|3,71164|2,71277|0) - As I mentioned in the last difficulty, these sounds are almost inaudible and very difficult to hear, which is why I'd consider removing them. again no :/
01:52:217 (112217|3,112217|2,112668|0,112668|1) - Why are these doubles when their sound is only a hihat? Most people are probably assuming you're just following the drum here, so it makes no sense to layer a synth over this hihat click to make a double note. deleted the first note, kept the second because there's a clear beat for a double

[3516]00:08:570 (8570|1,8570|0) - This is your easiest diff, which is why I'm kind of against using a pattern like this since it's not really beginner friendly. I think it would be fine if you just removed a note at 1 to make it a minitrill. okay

I wanted to keep it simple and make the player focus on the beat.
00:33:157 and 00:34:961 - Why don't you just finish mapping the synth here and make a minitrill, so it'd be something like this 1/4s shouldn't be used frequently in a Normal
01:21:766 (81766|2) - Move this to 1 to restore some hand balance because 01:21:315 to 01:22:668 is very right hand heavy. ok
01:43:420 to 01:44:322 - Rather than use notes to represent the drum roll, why not just add an LN for it instead. I think it helps with building up to the ending section. LNless :C

Hi there, not a mod just an opinion 7140

It could use some more single hand chords jacks in places. while I do enjoy it I feel this would improve it by making it more comfortable to play and allowing briefs for each hand. I will give suggestions if you want later, got M4M's to do but I like this song and your mapping style c~:

the diff name should be like NM5316 or NM 5316, even better, N 5316 imo

IRC modded the normal diff.

I went to have a look at the harder diffs: I couldn't find any problems, seriously.

sorry for the mod being alot shorter than expected but seriously good job on this map!

EDIT: How the fuck did i miss a whole difficulty

6236
01:04:679 (64679|2,64736|3) - these are ghost notes?

2016-12-23 15:52 _underjoy: this would destroy balance tbh

2016-12-23 16:01 _underjoy: it got deleted lmao

2016-12-23 16:05 Soul Evans: ok so
2016-12-23 16:05 Soul Evans: there isn't any distinction musically
2016-12-23 16:06 Soul Evans: which is annoying considered you followed it so far
2016-12-23 16:06 Soul Evans: why are the beats a chord along side weaker ones?
2016-12-23 16:06 _underjoy: where
2016-12-23 16:06 Soul Evans: shouldn't it make sense if the beat becomes 3 note chorrd
2016-12-23 16:07 _underjoy: rip internet
2016-12-23 16:07 _underjoy: but, show me where
2016-12-23 16:07 Soul Evans: 00:03:721 - 00:04:623 - 00:05:525 - 00:06:427 - etc
2016-12-23 16:08 Soul Evans: these should have 3 note chords to distinc between the other chords
2016-12-23 16:08 Soul Evans: since it's the main beat and a louder one
2016-12-23 16:08 Soul Evans: so i recommend you make it 3 not chords instead
2016-12-23 21:17 Soul Evans: ok my internet just died down last time sorry
2016-12-23 21:18 _underjoy: o ok
2016-12-23 21:20 Soul Evans: i'll post chatlog

Hi U_J and Shoe!

  • [General]
  1. Since you decided not to use SB again, turn off all widescreen support on all diff.
  2. Please tell me where you use "G6".
  3. Is soft-hitwhistle still be used here?
  • [3516]
  1. 00:23:570 (23570|0,23570|1,24021|1,24021|0) - I personally don't see these double being on the same col being fit with the fact that these double wield a completely different sound here.
  2. 00:26:954 (26954|1,27179|3) - Try Ctrl+G this? the pattern structure that you try to make between 00:26:503 (26503|1,26728|0,26728|2) - and 00:27:405 (27405|2,27630|3,27630|1) - will be more similar in terms of aesthetic there.
  3. 00:43:871 (43871|3,44097|2) - not make this jack? since it seems you do it consistently at 00:41:841 (41841|3,42066|3) - 00:40:036 (40036|0,40262|0) -
  4. 00:55:375 (55375|0,55600|3) - pretty sure this should be jack.
  5. 01:05:074 - aww that col.2 rip so soon. the structure seems to be really differ from the rest of other similar sections too..
  6. 01:12:066 (72066|3) - not sure what this note doing here. feels really weak compared to the other sound mapped.
  7. 01:13:645 (73645|1,73871|2) - Well, subjective thing, but since there's a change of music pace with the burst sound here, i will switch column to make the differences with 01:12:969 (72969|1,73194|2) -
  8. 01:14:999 (74999|0,74999|3,75450|3,75450|0) - not really fond of them being in the same column remembering that the second double actually finish sound that's the gate towards kiai, i hope it can be made different somehow.
  9. 01:36:427 (96427|1) - i will probably make this col.1 to have consistent structure with 01:21:766 -
  10. 01:42:518 - well, i was thinking of suggesting this section to be OH-trill instead of 2 hand trill ... since the PR feels really high here, signifies with harder pattern feels okay and more coherent imo.
  11. 01:51:991 - you can use the similar structure as 00:09:134 - instead..
  • [4424]
  1. 00:14:999 (14999|1) - i personally will move this to col 1 and make this consistent stack instead.
  2. 00:28:307 (28307|1,28420|0) - not sure, the flow of broken stream feels awkward.. i will switch column of 00:27:969 (27969|2,28194|3) - , OR you can make more broken stream instead if you want some variation within that section.
  3. 00:42:066 - i expect this to at least have consistent jack with 00:40:262 -
  4. 01:32:029 (92029|1,92142|0) - personally will make this 3-4 to mirroring 01:31:691 (91691|0,91803|1) - and rebalance left hand pattern.
  5. 01:43:871 - since the burst sound really stand out here, you can make the pattern also a bit more stand out? maybe like http://puu.sh/ty5XV/f786aa1d63.jpg ..
  6. 01:48:269 (108269|2,108382|0) - ehh for this kind of pattern, i expect it to be more straining and variative since its reaching the end .. try 1-2?
  7. 01:55:375 (115375|2,115488|1) - move to the right 1x to mirror 01:57:179 - seems good too to mirror jack at 01:57:179 - since it's close to the ending anyway. and 01:51:766 (111766|2,111879|1,111991|0,111991|3,113570|2,113683|1,113796|0,113796|3,115375|2,115488|1,115600|3,115600|0) - this same pattern feels odd to use here..

  • [5332]
  1. 00:09:585 - wild triple appears. since you apparently make triple only for some finish sound in this diff
  2. 00:26:954 - not sure if missing note/not, seems apparently you make continuous stream around this section, if you want to make break at red line, make it consistently at 00:28:758 - ,etc.
  3. 00:37:668 (37668|2,37894|2) - from protas mod, do you indeed not want to accept it? xd
  4. 00:38:909 (38909|0,39021|1) - try Switch column here so the snare at 00:39:134 (39134|2,39247|1) - which have harder sound will be more emphasized this way.
  5. 00:52:442 (52442|3,52442|0,52668|2,52668|1,52894|3,52894|0,53119|2,53119|1,53345|0,53345|3,53570|0,53570|3,53683|0,53683|3,53796|1,53796|2) - personally i'm more fond if you try something like 4-2 3-1 pattern instead since you already use similar one at 01:06:879 -
  6. 01:07:330 - wild triple appears suddenly.
  7. 01:14:773 - instead of linear burst, make it resembling the escalation of the song intensity will be better even if this is 3rd diff, try Switch column between 01:14:886 (74886|1,74942|0) -
  8. 01:17:706 (77706|0,77818|0,92142|2,92254|2) - This jack is quite misleading tbh.. it doesn't have particulary any heavy repeated sound to complement it. if you want the jack it should be at 01:17:254 (77254|1,77367|2) - and 01:31:691 (91691|0,91803|1) -
  9. 01:27:969 - missing note.
  10. 01:28:307 (88307|3,88420|1) - not make this jack? quite strong synth to support it.
  11. 01:29:209 (89209|1,89322|2) - ^same.
  12. 01:34:285 (94285|1,94397|0) - Try switch column between these notes? this way you would get 3-note jack on col 1 to mirror 3-note jack on col.4 and you get to also mirror the double at 01:34:848 (94848|2,94848|0) - which also aesthetically good.
  • [6236]
    Hi shoe xD
  1. 00:10:826 (10826|3,10939|2) - Try Switch column to get different feel pattern with 00:10:488 (10488|3,10563|2) - ? actually just feel the 1/6 before flows a bit awkward compared with other 1/6 being mapped, but that's subjective anyway.
  2. 00:11:315 (11315|0) - not sure bout this snap, yeah there's extra synth sound occurs here, but i don't think this is the correct snap.. idk.. feels like 1/4..
  3. 00:15:224 (15224|2) - i will move this to col 1 to complete the jack that occurs at col.1, mainly because the jack you made at 00:14:097 (14097|2,14322|2,14548|2,14773|2,14999|2) - (to signify that jack melody perhaps) already have noticeable differences with 00:15:224 - that have deeper melody that you signify with col.1 jack at 00:15:450 (15450|0,15676|0,15901|0) - .
  4. 00:24:642 (24642|2,31860|1) - not sure about these 1/8, i thought the burst sound comes out at 00:31:916 - ?
  5. 00:24:247 - personally will make this single to be consistent with other note amount which this synth usually only have single. it also signifies more differences with second part at 00:30:337 - which have more C/W sound.
  6. 00:31:014 - add another note for similar reason as above.
  7. 00:39:548 - feels a bit odd the 1/12 doesn't get mapped here, but i guess it's for the playability here.
  8. 00:48:269 (48269|3) - try move to col.2 to make jack here? the synth has the same power like the jack that you did at 00:49:961 (49961|2,50074|2) - .
  9. 00:51:766 - Add another note for consistency with 00:58:984 - ?
  10. 01:04:679 (64679|3) - not that sure bout this grace, feels like the same as 01:08:288 - , probably want to add another grace at 01:08:288 - .
  11. 01:11:728 - Missing 1/4 i presume?
  12. 01:12:518 - not sure, the single intentional? i thought you still consistent with double for C until 01:13:194 - where you jump to signifies the melody by double and single-ing the W and C.
  13. 01:22:104 - this should be double , and 01:22:217 - should be single instead?
  14. 01:24:698 - well from my perspective here, the left hand pattern feels really really hard with all that OH trill 1-2-1 /OH jack motion that happening.. the alternating movements is too long to be maintained consistency even if the diff indeed revolves arounds the technicality. i know you have 01:25:826 - to rebalance that. but the dominant right hand pattern generally doesn't have long 3-4-3 shenanigans pattern that makes them way a bit overboard imo.. perhaps you can smoothen it up a bit?
  15. 01:28:871 (88871|3) - move to col 3? 01:28:645 (88645|2,88758|2,88871|3) - is definitely triple jack sound that you usually made before. similar with 01:25:036 (85036|1,85149|1,85262|1) -
  16. 01:43:927 (103927|1,103984|3) - Switch column between these 2 notes? constant movement towards left direction flows better when i testplay it.
  17. 01:50:412 - not really sure bout that left hand pattern again.. since even until 01:52:217 - you keep continuously make the left hand dominant pattern there.
  18. 01:59:999 - not single note?
  • [7140]
  1. 00:15:224 (15224|0,15337|2) - try switch column between these notes here, you will get OH left hand trill, but it basically will flow towards 00:15:676 (15676|1,15676|0,15788|1,15901|0) - bcoz of how the music wub-wub-wub works
  2. 00:24:247 (24247|2,24360|3,24585|0) - i would go with 2-3-4 becoz of how i got problem with that col.1 AAAAAAAA , and it still works in terms of pr too..
  3. 00:31:014 (31014|0,31239|1) - i guess you can try switch this column because the first double is actually lower PR than the second.. basically mimicking how 00:30:337 (30337|0,30337|3,30563|1,30563|3) - would works in term of PR.
  4. 00:36:427 (36427|3,36540|0) - not jack? for the consistency with the one you did at 00:34:623 (34623|3,34736|3) - and 00:33:721 (33721|1,33833|1) - , and while we're at it, 00:36:427 - should be single too bcoz it's not kick/crash.
  5. 00:38:006 (38006|3,38119|2) - try 1-4 will give you 1-4-1 trill here, which complement the trill at 00:37:668 (37668|2,37781|1,37894|2) -
  6. 00:40:939 - pretty sure this should be double.
  7. 00:44:548 (44548|0,44660|2) - should be jack too according to 00:43:645 (43645|3,43758|3) -
  8. 00:44:999 (44999|1,45112|2) - 00:45:450 (45450|2,45563|1) - 00:45:901 (45901|1,46014|2) - personally preference, but i would go with jack with these 3 double notes here, since the music are quite down at the moment here, and synth has quite stand out at this part, make these jack will accent the moment better.
  9. 01:01:465 - for melody section you can capture it better with 1/2 jack like http://puu.sh/tzjrc/1238e1949e.png
  10. 01:13:645 (73645|1) - well, my suggestion , you can move this to col.1 , and Ctrl+H 01:13:702 (73702|2,73758|1,73815|2,73871|1) - , that will make the burst "connect" to the one at 01:13:984 (73984|3) - which supposed to flow better since the echo burst sound still there.

LMAO that kiai buttseck me so hard everytime...

  11. 01:18:157 - eww this is nasty since the jack move towards left direction and it went to 5 jack on col.1 like that when there's already 4 consecutive jack on col 1 before :/ i personally would make col 3 at 01:18:608 - get the jack more since it's the column that hasn't been "used" for the long jack, maybe something like: http://puu.sh/tzkHc/efd03498db.jpg , it should alleviate it better.
  12. 01:19:059 (79059|1,79172|1,79285|1) - anddd.. this one also connect from jack at col.1 with one hand.. no wonder it's somehow so hard to transitioned between each pattern here :/ , my suggestion to switch column between 01:19:172 (79172|1,79285|1,79397|3) -
  13. 01:29:322 (89322|1,89435|3) - switch column here? unless if you intentionally make the jack like that which makes thing really hard to execute orz..

I just realize you rarely have one hand jack and proceed to do 2 hand jack continuously omg

  14. 01:31:916 (91916|1) - col 3 i think? one hand press > 2 hand press
  15. 01:43:082 - 01:43:307 - just think that you can make double for synth since this is quite underwhelming after that onslaught jack.

idk whether memoria SHD / this is harder tbh.. but i never get S in this while i did in memoria SHD ..
Cool and unique map here dude, as expected from you..
Call me back.

    Hi shoe xD
  1. 00:10:826 (10826|3,10939|2) - Try Switch column to get different feel pattern with 00:10:488 (10488|3,10563|2) - ? actually just feel the 1/6 before flows a bit awkward compared with other 1/6 being mapped, but that's subjective anyway. Deliberate choice because of PR.
  2. 00:11:315 (11315|0) - not sure bout this snap, yeah there's extra synth sound occurs here, but i don't think this is the correct snap.. idk.. feels like 1/4.. Might've been a snapping error there, fixed.
  3. 00:15:224 (15224|2) - i will move this to col 1 to complete the jack that occurs at col.1, mainly because the jack you made at 00:14:097 (14097|2,14322|2,14548|2,14773|2,14999|2) - (to signify that jack melody perhaps) already have noticeable differences with 00:15:224 - that have deeper melody that you signify with col.1 jack at 00:15:450 (15450|0,15676|0,15901|0) - . Interesting catch, the long jack wasn't intentional. Fixed regardless.
  4. 00:24:642 (24642|2,31860|1) - not sure about these 1/8, i thought the burst sound comes out at 00:31:916 - ? I think this was meant to capture the synth, but I can see that it's a ghost note so I removed it.
  5. 00:24:247 - personally will make this single to be consistent with other note amount which this synth usually only have single. it also signifies more differences with second part at 00:30:337 - which have more C/W sound. Whoops, that one was an error. Added doubles to louder sounds like 00:24:360 - and 00:24:698 - instead.
  6. 00:31:014 - add another note for similar reason as above. Kept it as a single, but I chained it with a double after it to create a minijack.
  7. 00:39:548 - feels a bit odd the 1/12 doesn't get mapped here, but i guess it's for the playability here. Yup.
  8. 00:48:269 (48269|3) - try move to col.2 to make jack here? the synth has the same power like the jack that you did at 00:49:961 (49961|2,50074|2) - . Someone might've modified my layering scheme here, I don't recall my layering scheme being like this. Reverted back to the old layering scheme, this wouldn't apply since the jacks are only to the crashes.
  9. 00:51:766 - Add another note for consistency with 00:58:984 - ? Removed the double in 58.984.
  10. 01:04:679 (64679|3) - not that sure bout this grace, feels like the same as 01:08:288 - , probably want to add another grace at 01:08:288 - . Very slightly different chord, so no changes there.
  11. 01:11:728 - Missing 1/4 i presume? Technically a missing note, but it's so inaudible that I felt that omitting it would be fine.
  12. 01:12:518 - not sure, the single intentional? i thought you still consistent with double for C until 01:13:194 - where you jump to signifies the melody by double and single-ing the W and C. Fixed this a little bit, this section was supposed to focus on the synth melody. I fixed it a little to accommodate for that. 01:12:405 - would not be a double in this scheme because last snare layered (before the synth melody) is right before it.
  13. 01:22:104 - this should be double , and 01:22:217 - should be single instead? 01:21:540 - has a stronger synth phrase than this, which is why I didn't include doubles in 82.104. I'm aware that it's a bit too heavy to be a single, but I feel that having a double there would be too overpowering. More willing to undershoot in this case.
  14. 01:24:698 - well from my perspective here, the left hand pattern feels really really hard with all that OH trill 1-2-1 /OH jack motion that happening.. the alternating movements is too long to be maintained consistency even if the diff indeed revolves arounds the technicality. i know you have 01:25:826 - to rebalance that. but the dominant right hand pattern generally doesn't have long 3-4-3 shenanigans pattern that makes them way a bit overboard imo.. perhaps you can smoothen it up a bit? PR again unfortunately, not much I can do about that unless I break the PR in that section.
  15. 01:28:871 (88871|3) - move to col 3? 01:28:645 (88645|2,88758|2,88871|3) - is definitely triple jack sound that you usually made before. similar with 01:25:036 (85036|1,85149|1,85262|1) - No clue why I didn't do this. Fixed.
  16. 01:43:927 (103927|1,103984|3) - Switch column between these 2 notes? constant movement towards left direction flows better when i testplay it. More trills more better.
  17. 01:50:412 - not really sure bout that left hand pattern again.. since even until 01:52:217 - you keep continuously make the left hand dominant pattern there. Can't place a right hand minijack there because combining that with the beeping sounds will create too much right hand bias. I don't think there's too much left hand bias from there, it's a bit balanced out with some right hand minijacks.
  18. 01:59:999 - not single note? Fixed.
Thank you for the mod, I'm not particularly good when it comes to finding technical errors so your mod was a great help.
