You asked me to mod Uneath and Arduous (I can't mod Precise cause of my modding level :( ) so let's do this:

Uneath

  1. Try finding different combo colours, most people play with background dim 100% and the colours blend in a lot then (An example is Ievan Polkka)
  2. I think a bit lower CS is more appropriate
  3. Got no kiai time
  4. 00:04:473 (2,3) - Reverse Selection for better flow?
  5. 00:06:089 (1,2) - Try making (2) blanket (1)
  6. 00:08:858 (3,4,5) - Same with (3) and (5)
  7. 00:14:281 (3,4,5) - I feel like this flows weird but I have no idea how to fix it ;(
  8. 00:22:358 (7,1) - Try making (1) blanket (7)
  9. 00:29:627 (7) - Move a bit more down. Looks more aesthetical and flows better
  10. 00:57:089 (1) - This slider seems weird because 1. Even though the vocals are quieter here the colour gets brighter and 2. A single slider after a short break seems weird if the break is mappable

Arduous

  1. Same things I mentioned first in Uneath (Also the CS)
  2. Generally I thought this diff looked a bit "rough" because of it's harsh slider shapes and harsh flow. Even though this music is rather "rough", I'd suggest making it hard not by harsh flow and slider shapes but by using Speed. That's why I only posted non-gameplay stuff here
  3. 00:03:781 (2) - Add a NC for emphasis
  4. 00:20:858 (2,3) - Try making (3) blanket (2)
  5. 00:22:473 (7) - Reverse Selection? (If you do that, I suggest reversing the selection here 00:22:704 (1) too)
  6. 00:57:089 (1) - Unlike in Uneath this slider is linear. Since you probably won't remove it, try shaping the slider a bit

  1. Try finding different combo colours, most people play with background dim 100% and the colours blend in a lot then (An example is Ievan Polkka) I play in 100% dim for this map, but don't think it's blend.
  2. I think a bit lower CS is more appropriate Maybe you didn't find that Moderate use CS3.5, and 4 isn't that hard maybe.
  3. Got no kiai time Don't want to use it.
  4. 00:04:473 (2,3) - Reverse Selection for better flow? Changed.
  5. 00:06:089 (1,2) - Try making (2) blanket (1) Too many note to move, so no.
  6. 00:08:858 (3,4,5) - Same with (3) and (5) Sorry I'm too noob to move it well.
  7. 00:14:281 (3,4,5) - I feel like this flows weird but I have no idea how to fix it ;( I haven't too.
  8. 00:22:358 (7,1) - Try making (1) blanket (7) Really don't want to make it blanket.
  9. 00:29:627 (7) - Move a bit more down. Looks more aesthetical and flows better Maybe changed (6) and (7).
  10. 00:57:089 (1) - This slider seems weird because 1. Even though the vocals are quieter here the colour gets brighter and 2. A single slider after a short break seems weird if the break is mappable umm... 1. I brighter for the word(?) and 2. That break time part have BPM problem (still waiting for check if I want to map it) and the rhythm is too hard to catch for everyone so I only left a slider here.

Arduous

  1. Same things I mentioned first in Uneath (Also the CS) The same reply in Uneath, but I want to use CS5 in Arduous for a bit harder for challenge.
  2. Generally I thought this diff looked a bit "rough" because of it's harsh slider shapes and harsh flow. Even though this music is rather "rough", I'd suggest making it hard not by harsh flow and slider shapes but by using Speed. That's why I only posted non-gameplay stuff here Thank you. Will consider to change some flow in this diff.
  3. 00:03:781 (2) - Add a NC for emphasis No, these two is in same part.
  4. 00:20:858 (2,3) - Try making (3) blanket (2) It doesn't really need, maybe...

Mostly a rhythm mod. A lot of stuff you have heads on notes that really aren't strong notes to hit. It'll be a bit repetitive, but it's somewhat important to look out for.

To start this on the correct measure. Your timing should begin at 00:04:243 - | The notes before this are part of the anacrusis. This is optional, but it does affect mods like Nightcore and some visual appearances elsewhere. Since you have volume/sound changes, all you have to do is add a red timing point at the above mentioned time, and then resnap any notes if necessary.

Since coldrain sings this song completely in English, and the Rock is a given for the genre. You can remove both rock english from the tags.

This naming is a bit too random. Involved really has nothing to do with Precise or Rigerous, Moderate is kind of standalone, and so on. I honestly can't see these difficulty names making it through ranking. You may want to simplify it a little. It reminds me of my naming from a map I made long ago which isn't rankable anymore lol. (Peaceful, Lonliness, Serenity, Solitude, Miko) | If I can't really tell what is what in the control+o list, then yikes..

  2. 00:14:281 (4,5) - swap these, so the 1/2 slider is at 00:14:281 - to match the rhythm to the song. You can also change this to a 1/1 slider and it'll play nicely.
  3. 00:20:858 (2) - NC since previous is lead-in. (Might as well do this to all your diffs now since I won't mention it from now on.)
  4. 00:23:050 (2) - you do a lot of reverses on these almost empty notes which I mentioned in the Uneath difficulty. It isn't game breaking, but 1/1 sliders would suit this much better since it wouldn't feel like you're hitting an empty sound. This applies to 00:28:589 (3) - 00:29:512 (6) - and so on.
  5. 00:36:435 (3) - Might as well put this on the 00:35:281 (8) - since you pretty much do it to this whole section here: 00:41:166 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,1) - The song feels more intense at 00:35:166 (7,8,9) - anyways.
  6. 00:45:781 (5,6) - I'd double check this again if I were you, it really sounds like both the head of (5) and (6) don't hit anything spectacular in the music, which would easily cause this rhythm to play oddly. While the head of (5) is passable, I'd really suggest making sure the (6) is on a tail or skipped. (Check the other diffs for (6) at least and you'll notice it isn't mapped on any others)

  1. 00:08:050 (2) - Hits nothing. Yikes.
  2. 00:12:435 (4,5) - This is pretty difficult to follow, it doesn't have a clear indication anyways. If you flipped it, then it would follow the drums + guitar a little better since 00:12:666 - has a good drum kick. This is mostly because you skipped the vocal at 00:12:320 - that it makes following this hard.
  3. 00:14:281 (4,5) - same as above.
  4. 00:18:550 (12) - Not just circles? Feels like it got dumbed down pretty good here. If you want to keep the reverse, maybe throw it on 00:17:627 (5,6,7) - as well.
  5. 00:24:896 (2) - Same thing about the reverses in the last diff. Doesn't really make sense, but not the biggest issue.
  6. 00:28:704 (3) - The cymbal note thing again. More dominance on notes like the tail of 00:28:473 (2) - for example.
  7. 00:45:089 (2) - lands on nothing again.
  8. 00:45:666 (5,6) - Try swapping.
  9. 00:50:396 (1) - Besides the easier diffs, this is the only one that doesn't have a circle played here before the spinner.

  6. 00:44:858 (1,2) - swap? It'll capture the full vocal, and let you play 00:45:204 - as its own note.

00:50:396 (1,1) - This is where the break is. The break here seems kind of pointless, so what you can probably do is remove the spinner, and replace it with a long slider that goes through the entire break. Then, replace the slider 1 at the end where it yells "FUCK" with a single hitcircle.

00:50:396 (1,1) - Like the Briefness difficulty, the break here seems pointless. So, what I would do is replace spinner 1 with a really long slider that goes through where the break is (taking away the break), and replace the slider 1 at the end with a single hitcircle (where it says FUCK)
Overall
The maps I modded were done very solid, just that there were a couple of small things that could use some fixing!

    Sound files and background resolution are fine.

I'm pretty sure that it's required that difficulties be named in such a way that anyone playing the map will be able to tell the difficulty from just the name, with the hardest difficulty as the exception. Correct me if they changed that rule!

Also your NCs are all out of order. I would suggest you start a new combo on every big white tick!

Arduous
With this SV, I recommend AR 8.5+. At 8 everything seems so fast while the approach circles are so slow, feels unnatural (in a bad way)
00:04:704 (3,4,5,6) - The spacing between 3 and 4 is good, but I'd recommend stacking 4 on 5 on the head of 6. It is rare to find a map that does this sort of thing with fast tapping that makes it look like a stream at a low difficulty. This difficulty is lower tier, so it's supposed to be easier. It's pretty hard.
00:05:627 (7,8,1) - Flow is not that good. The slider points up and the circles afterward go straight down, all while it's connected to the slider. I recommend fixing this, by making the slider point a different direction.
00:06:781 (4,5) - I would personally make this a reverse slider, or three circles. But not recommended for the latter because of difficulty spikes.
00:09:781 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - From this I see that this is supposed to be a hard difficulty. To compensate, I would make the CS larger and AR faster
00:11:166 (10,11) - These two can be arranged in a cleaner way. Like this (but not exactly because it's not the beat you're sticking to. Simply put, just make this neater!
00:11:973 (2,3) - Beat is good here, but a bit awkward with the flow if the next notes are placed all the way to the left
00:14:281 (4,5,6) - Here a slider beginning on a red tick is not good. I'd recommend putting a circle on the red tick and starting the slider on a white one. This is because in most cases, sliders are supposed to begin on white ticks as they are more emphasized on them. Beginning a slider on a red tick means it'll end on a white tick (and the end of the slider is hardly emphasized much)
00:17:166 (1,2,3,4,5) - Same here, I would tidy it up. This pattern has no appealing view to it. You've got the beat right on, though

00:26:396 (1) - A nicer rhythm I would suggest that starts here is a slider that ends on the following white tick, then another slider that starts on the immediate red tick after the end of the previous slider and ends on the red tick, then 2 circles on the following white and red ticks, and repeat.
00:37:012 (5,6,1) - This has been occurring pretty often. It feels stiff, as if I can't really bend around. You should learn to implement different types of sliders at different times. Here, as an example, would be a good place to change up the sliders so you don't have two awkward straight sliders connected by a circle.
00:42:320 (6,7,8) - Absolutely no flow. 6 and 7 is not to shabby, but then 7 to 8 is a problem. 7 points down and 8 is above it. While this is a good technique in higher difficulty maps, this is not a high difficulty and thus should be avoided.
00:57:089 (1) - Meh. "Fuck" LOL put a language warning.

Overall I think you've got great rhythm, but poor placement. You should most definitely work on your placement -- learn how to make some things symmetrical and overlap the circles with each other to make it neater and flow better during gameplay. Only 1 difficulty modded regardless of song length, because of the number of suggestions I've made.

00:06:550 - (1,2) You should make these two mirrors of each other, right now 2 is much more tight than 1 is, so I'd recommend changing 2 to match 1.

00:17:166 - (3) This slider just doesn't look very nice, change it to have only one point, that'll make the curve much more natural.

00:28:243 - (1) This slider is also awkwardly shaped, use a red point on the 180 turn as right now the ball appears to almost glitch a bit upwards as it bounces off the turn.

00:57:089 - (1) Is this slider really necessary, make people sit through the break at the end just to map "Fuck"?

00:25:473 - (2) Bizarrely curved slider again, Try to make it so that the sides of the slider don't pinch at all like it does on the insides of this one.

00:34:704 - (4,5,6,7) Consistency here, last time this pattern came up in the diff you mapped is as two sliders and a kick, this time it's three sliders and a circle, Change one of them to match the other, doesn't really matter which way you do it, but stick to one.

00:42:550 - (3,4) Does this jump need to be here, doesn't seem to mean much of anything.

00:57:089 - (1) At this point you get it, I'll stop mentioning this note here.

ARDUOUS

00:14:281 - This pattern is alright, but it's different from how you mapped 00:16:127- Even though those are the exact same rhythmically, change one or the other to make them match.

00:23:973 - (5,6) This jump is really large and random, I get that there is a crash here, but it's certainly not the first crash of the song, and you haven't had jumps like this in earlier instances.
To be fair, it might be ok since you start using this pattern afterwards, but it just feels like such a harsh change when compared to the early parts of the song.

00:57:089 - (1) I wasn't going to mention this again, but a straight line is just lazy, at LEAST make a shape out of it.

PRECISE

This difficulty feels like you just took Arduous, made it CS7, and then adjusted the notes slightly to fit the smaller circles.

General note, the streams are so clustered when the taps are so spread out? It makes me feel like they're going to be 1/3 rather than 1/2, but they aren't. You might think this makes the map easier, and arguably it does, but anyone playing this would be capable of hitting your hardest segments, and as such the clustered streams just add confusion and don't actually help the player at all.

00:18:089 - (8) This combo is way too long, make this 8 a new combo, so that there's a clear distinction, and IMO, the 15 should be a NC too, but that's opinion based so take that at your leisure.

00:24:829 - (2) This slider is painful on small CS, since the CS is so high, you basically have to follow every slider to a tee, which makes high SV sharp turns brutala unless you've been practicing them, if you want this to be enjoyable you should probably rework this combo to get rid of that slider.

And last slider again, but you knew that already.

RIGOROUS

00:09:781 - (1) Granted this might be just because I have my osu set to use Default skin when in editor, I would've never gotten this without retrying after seeing it the first time. Is there really nothing else you can do here, this is just stupid difficulty padding, as in it's not actually hard, but it'll cause almost everyone a reset just cause they didn't notice it right away.

00:11:166 - (6,7,8,9) I know I just complained about difficulty padding, but why is this so easy? Seriously, making the difficulty jump around at random just makes the flow feel forced, I'd recommend like a small square or something of that nature.

00:18:089 - (1-9) First off, same issue as the last one about being randomly easy, This one is during one of the more intense moments in the song too, so even weirder. Ontop of that, earlier I saw you going out of your way to avoid half overlaps (In Precise difficulty), yet here even though there's tons of space, you just let 5 and 1 sit almost on top of each other now.

00:39:666 - (2,3,4) Alright, this wouldn't normally be an issue, but considering how many times in this difficulty you've had patters that jump back and forth, anyone who plays by going with the flow will fuck this up randomly, cause this pattern of one then jump to two stacked, goes against every other pattern you've made, this would be much better if 4 was under 2 just to maintain the pattern you've had up until now.

00:42:319 - (4,5,6,7,8,9) Against with the randomly compacted stream.

Actually, I quite like this diff, but still a couple things.

00:26:743 - (2,3,4) Having such a contructed shape for these looks weird aesthetically when contrasted with the rest of the map, Adding a bit of randomness here isn't necessarily a bad idea.

00:39:666 - (2,3,4) ^^^^^^

And same thing about the last slider.

INVOLVED

00:18:666 - (5,6,7) I get the slowly decresing DS here, but this is so close now it just feels forced.

00:27:319 - (1,2,3) Patterns like this are why I question your DS more, because having notes close together is great, but for the sake of flow, try to make sure you keep moving, don't make the player become stagnent, this might be extreme, but you could even do something like swap 2 and 3 in this pattern.

00:35:396 - (6,7,1) OK this feels strange, I'd prefer if this was a 4 circle stack ontop of the slider head rather than this weird pathing hell.

00:50:166 - (9,10,11) It might be worth your time to stack this triplet, just so that 12 isn't so close, that way the spacing would look and feel a lot more natural, as it stands, this looks like 12 should be connected, since it's relatively close to the end of the triple, and the triple is pointing right at it.

WTF is the last slider in this one, why are there two notes now?

DYSPNEA

This diff is like, what Involved should have been, and ironically, since normally this isn't the case, I think this might be the best made diff in the set, which is weird since it's the hardest, but that's how I feel about it.

00:17:858 - (7) This slider is really cramped, Just pull it out further.

Same thing at the end, those end sliders are probably the worst part of the set.

Anyways it's alright, although I feel like the middle difficulties were just strange. Anyways Good luck, hope this mod helps as honestly, This mod took me nearly 3 hours cause of how many difficulties I had to go through. :)
