CTB Top 10 US Players 2016

Why is everyone doing these kinds of posts as of late?

Anyway, since I know nothing about most players I just took the top 10 and put them in the order that seems legit to me.

1.) Jimmy Rustler: One of the best well rounded players that I know of, an amazing SR player and also to kick it off always maintains high accuracy.

2.) Jimmy-Rustler: An amazing one handed PF mod player, also dabbles with hr and is extremely good at it.

3.) xElectroGX: I have to say one the best players that I have seen, the reason I say this is that he has pure raw skill that allows him to compete for top 10

4.) -itsy_v2-: A very well rounded player that is great at hddt

5.) Trent: I've gotta say an extremely good player, not in only ctb but also in all other game modes. He's also the person I've learned how to play from just from watching his content on youtube, which helped me learn how to accurately play CTB which I'll always will be grateful for.

6.) Fantasy: Although there's controversy surrounding him, Fantasy is a good player and still has the skills to compete with the top 100

7.) Kaiosize: Although he stopped playing, he was a new player that I'd say had more potential than I had personally, although the only thing he'd do is play unranked maps, Kaiosize was extemely good player.

8.) -Kurisu-: An extremely good hr player, "I don't even know if plays anything else other than hr anymore". Nonetheless he's an extremely good player and also makes enjoyable beatmaps.

9.) Del: A very good dt player, although I may not know much about Del, Del has a nice name that reminds me of the Dole banana brand.

10.) Amlink: Formally known as amlink, Amlink is an very good player that is showing very high promise for the more difficult ar8 dt beatmaps. Anyways a very enjoyable person to know and also check out his Youtube channel lots of great content there.

i just thought i should since that voting was in November a lot of new plays have been set, and a lot of things have happened.

Sure a lot of new plays have been set between then and now.
And also that other thread of top 10, vote ended in dec of 2015.
The thing i disagree is how you named in top 2015. When clearly most of the plays that might of changed the ranking of the top 10, was set in 2016 not in 2015.

That's not the point. Wait until November so you can just do a top 10 of 2016 and let the voting go until December 31st or something. You're cutting out half a year in which players can improve which is a non-trivial amount of time.

Wow this thread is a good example of QUALITY voting. Players justify their votes instead of voing on pure impression/rank/friendship/popularity \o/

P.S. Still waiting for the politically correct Mr. Nice Guys wannabes SJWs to label everyone as "drama makers" XD Look out for those guys LOL

My Vote (Incomplete):

1. Fantasy: AR10 HR + DT passes WTF 'nuff said. (Actually he has many revords that only ExGon and Hyperw7 has e.g. Calamity Fortune & Heterochromia HR just to name a few.)

2. -itsy_v2-: There really isn't anything this veteran cannot play. HR, DT, HD, NM, you name it, you're bound to see his top ranking plays on maps many could not even pass.

3. Jimmy Rustler: Insane HR skills, has HR SS on almost all Overdoses, and despite the hard to achieve accuracy, he is still able to achieve spins rivalling the best spinners in the world. No doubt one of the best players in US history.

4. Kurisu: Pretty much even with itsy, but perhaps due to lack of time or interest, there aren't as many flashy records as itsy. However based on 1st play count performances which he seems to do all the time, this player is not to be underestimated.

5. Del: Very underrated high AR DT player, has the same insane 1st play count performances that he does all the time. Sadly due to again, the lack of interest or time to retry for FCs, there are too little notable records to talk about. Nevertheless from what I know, his skill level is even beyond many players in the Top 50s.

6. Trent: Jimmy Rustler look-alike. There was one point I remember he was wrecking hard map after hard map which absolutely demonstrates this player's skill and future potential. However the fire seems to have ceased, I hope to see more from him.

7. Zak: There is no complete Top 10 list without this veteran here. I believe his experience in game for playing countless maps, and his remarkable HD performance with insane accuracy and spinners needs no introduction. Without doubt one of the best CTB player in US history up until now.

8. chickenbible: Rising power in US. If you take a look at his profile, the improvement in skill and rank in recent months are shocking. As of now he is overshadowed by many other players in US, but with time I can see him becoming one of the best players even on the world stage.

9. Senyo: Undenyable #1 player during the humble beginings of CTB, anyone who has stayed here long enough knows this player's fame is not just for show. In tge early years his skill was comparable to many renown old players such as kenji HineX set Rubytic Bernkastel etc. However due to his inactivity in the recent years, he has lost the competitive edge against newer players with greater passion for the game mode. However I atrongly believe with just a little bit of effort, he can recover his old form and rise to the top again!

10. Amlink: I have been observing this "drama maker" (supposedly lol) for quite a while and honestly, he has improved a lot from the first time I've noticed him. Go check out his YouTube channel and you can see how much and how fast he's climbing the skill ladder of CTB. With more time to grow, he will certainly become a very notable player for his skills (and probably some drama toooo LOOOOL XD).

That's about it. I might change my opinions if I see fit in the future/persuaded to see otherwise.

Agreeing with some of the others, since we are only halfway through 2016 I wouldn't take these results too seriously. But I'll vote still cuz it's fun. Also it seems that diao died

Using a combo of activity, how much their scores impress me, and potential.

1. Fantasy - AR11 EYES from 11eyes

2. -itsy_v2- - Extremely good HD player and nomod not to mention HR... he barely even plays anymore but when he does he never fails to surprise me with his skill. Always goes above whatever I'm expecting from his skill set, the unpredictable master of it all.

3. Jimmy Rustler - Strange guy, ask him to learn something/set a weird record and he'll do it. WTF tier spins and recently learned hr, wouldn't be surprised to seem him have another skill boost soon.

4. Trent- Another person that hasn't played much lately, yet always maintains a high degree of skill in reading ridiculous patterns that I can't even touch. Nomod and HD pattern expert, play more pls

5. Chickenbible- The new guy in town, learning different mods quickly and with vigor. Great at HR and nomod, your limit is as high as you want it to be.

6. Del - I want to say that he is the most underrated AR9+ dt player in CtB. Doesn't care about pp, only about getting faster than sonic. Can easily match the top 5 AR9+ dt players, his HR ability is insane as well.

7. TheFlameWind - Started noticing him doing really great records on converts, he's already a good nomod player and I can see him having a skill boost and becoming a top US player.

8. Jimmy-Rustler - Maybe overlooked because of his username, he's insane at nomod for his rank and can SS maps that I can't.

9. Amlink - Haven't seen him play much this year but the from the records I have seen from him, I can tell he has improved. One of the great DT players of the US and really great at reading patterns I can't.

10. Zak - The HD king. Think you're good at HD? Challenge him to any low ar HD and get rekt, although I think his reading ability peaked in early 2014 when he could FC maps I couldn't even pass (neu, calamity, etc.). Has the potential to make a comeback, #believe

There are other high rank players in the US that I don't know like zelatra and amay as well as people with low ranks and huge natural skill like xElectroGH that I can't comment on, also players that are improving atm. 2016 the year of USA CtB mayb

no point in voting a top 10 list, its like a bunch of girls going into the girls restroom and voting which boy is the cutest, its pointless and creates problems, I dont think it really matters who is #3 or #2 or even #1 just play the game and enjoy, dont worry about your position, scores and achievements speak for themselves

Hate to disagree with you, but if you read over this forum there hasn't been any drama besides your post here. I've been voted anywhere from #4 (lol no come on guys think) to #10 or not even at all but a lot of the comments and feedback I see about what some pro users think of me is nothing but a positive experience. This topic isn't here to make drama its just hear to cause discussion and from what I see there is nothing but harmless opinions, shout outs, and compliments to certain users from other users who believe they deserve some support or acknowledgement.
