[Archived] Medals not working(Mania)

Problem Details:

Osu!mania ''new'' medals is not working properly, i used dt to get the 6* medal and i got it http://puu.sh/oZdrf/8c55342f61.png + http://puu.sh/oZdsE/816e47c6b2.png

Then, i used dt to get a 7* but its didnt worked

As you can see its a 7,03* and i s'ed and well, no medal!

DT is not allowed for that
(In Standart is the same)

DT is allowed.
However, some maps have a bit different star ratings on the listings page and in-game.
Example: Maniera has *8.04 in-game but *7.95 on the page, so passing it does NOT give the 8* pass medal.
I assume your in-game *7.03 play is also treated as *6.9x using the web-based data.

+ Some tips for 7* & 8* pass medals:
7* -> Imperishable Night or TLDNE is actually far easier to pass than most of the DT's. If you still want to use DT, go for Poppin' Shower or Everlasting Message.
8* -> Do Achromat +DT. Really.

AFAIK, there are exactly two options to get 8* with 4K: Planet shaper +DT or Empress +DT (both are just crazy...) so good luck ;)

lmao, i dont think anyone on the earth can get A on planet shaper dt or empress dt, probably planet shaper is more easy than empress dt, this guy : https://osu.ppy.sh/u/%5B-%5D can try to A planet shaper, but still looks crazy x.x

Well, at least blastix qualified and gaved me the 7* medal ;DDD

This is probably the cause of this issue indeed. There's a confirmed thread on it here.
Not entirely sure what to do with this thread because of that, so I'll leave this pinned and marked assigned for the time being.

Edit: Removing assigned tag + unpinning as I created a new thread listing all current issues with medals (achievements) to have a centralized place for them. t/467000
