whenever it starts getting intense on me i keep thinking "dont click, dont click it you cunt" then i accidentally click my mouse and it fucks me up ahaha. any tips to avoid the left/right clicks?

If you play with Mouse + Keyboard (Mouse for Aim, Keyboard for tapping/clicking). F10 is your best friend.

I play with mouse also.
In 4star maps or above you need to jump a lot, so try changing your sensitivity (In game of course), I am currently using 1.95x, but you might need to change according to the difficulty you can play currently. (For example if you need to jump faster, set it higher)

The first weeks when I started Osu!,I knew that pressing with keyboard is WAY TOO better than pressing with mouseclick.But I just really wanted to click with mouse.
I forced my mind just a little bit and got used for keyboard keys.
Also; disable the mouse buttons if you REALLY want to press the mouse

Use Z/X buttons instead of clicking and avoid doing so by press F10 in game menu (this will lock mouse buttons when you play) And keep playing 2-3* beatmaps until you get S-SS ranking,this will help you develop tapping skill,add mods if you can to improve speed and accuracy.Good luck ^^ (also i play OSU with Razer Abyssus and senvisity at 2.4x for jumping)
