I saw a vid on youtube, then I looked it up, then I played. Then I got addicted.
Though the first map I played was a horrible POS. Then I played Such Great Heights and had fun.
I did kind of stink at first. I couldn't even do many 3-star maps, and probably couldn't do many Easy difficulties made today because I couldn't hold a beat for very long, especially when it's disrupted with sliders frequently. But I had fun so I continued playing. Worked my way up. osu!'s fun.

Well.... i first saw it on youtube and thought it was fun but i did not play it till a friend sent me the link telling me to play it and i found myself playing non-stop and lvling up faster than him LOLS~~~~~
Guy linked it on /jp/, said why not. Ends up being one of like 5 games i've played for more than a day in 3 years.

I never played any rhythm games. Except many years ago, when I had something called "ClickBeat".
I had much fun with it, but the game never made it past version 0.0.3 or something and eventually died.

I absolutely got tired of playing Stepmania.
Osu presented me with a new challenge; a frustrating but fun one at that. It also inspired me to buy a tablet.
