Hey everyone! I did a little application done in c# to make basic effects based on particles. I know this is a very basic tool to do it but It will be useful for beginners or people that doesn't know anything about programming (Yeah you need to know programming to make a lot of particles).

  1. How to use it:

Image

  1. Path: Type image's path. For example [SB/particle.png]
  2. Layer: The layer where the image will be
  3. Easing: Indicates if the command should "accelerate". See http://easings.net
  4. Random Easing: Enable this if you want to generate random easing values between 1 - 4

Timing

  1. startTime: Here is where the effect will start [ms]
  2. Interval: Miliseconds between particñe
  3. Particle for Interval: How many particles will be for interval // If this value is different of 0 the interval between particle will be different = [Interval/particle for interval]
  4. endTime: Here will stop appearing particles

Movement

  1. Position X: Range at X position [start,end]
  2. Position Y: Range at Y position [start,end]
  3. Random X: Random values at range X
  4. Random Y: Random values at range Y
Others are very understandable

Screenshots

TIPS:

  1. The code will be saved automatically in the current path of the app. or you can save the code by pressing "Save as .osb"

Really beautiful tool. Thanks for posting it. (:

Cool stuff for those who don't want to learn a programming language :3

Looks cool!

Excellent work , it will help a lot to people who know nothing about it , including me.

Isn't work for me :(
Always get error about Values.
Sylvette
RandomX and RandomY don't work for me.
Jacob
How do you change how long each particle lasts?

Right now it seems like it's the interval time multiplied by 16?

Same here...

No idea why
Crowie
does this automatically get extracted? it keeps disappearing from the downloads folder 0-0

WinXP support? :c
Underforest
somehow I get virus error and I need to disable my antivirus to run it
it will be nice if this doesn't happen
same problem with your spectrum and lyrics program
Crowie
WinXP support pls ;-;

hi XinCrin great tool!

just want to say, that the RandomX and RandomY isn't working.
it's show error everytime i put RandomX or RandomY.

Hello!

I am using this tool, thanks for creating it. :)
However, I have a question: You can use it to make particles moving around the map instead of just standing and doing scale / rotate / fade ?

What is the problem :?:
Maybe, who knows :?:
Or is the problem in the most programe, if so, it is desirable to pofiksit :!:
Arbane
No matter what i do it just tells me to check the values and try again... Does anyone know why?
sheela
Can we know what did you input for the movement settings?
WingSilent
Try with commas instead of dots.
, not .

I love you.

how to make it like from top to bottom not bottom to top?

By having the startY smaller than endY in the Position Y field. For example, startY is 0 and endY is 480.

I'm a noob and this is a really late reply, but how would you change particle velocity in this? Is it just the startx and finishx that affect this?

You can also tweak the Interval and Particle for interval to change the velocity.
