I'm really sorry I didn't properly read what you were saying then ):
Let's make up for that.
...from what (little) research I've done right now, it seems to be a "trackpad replacement" of a sort. This means in general that it's undesirable compared to a tablet.Differences between mice and tabletsThe biggest difference between mice and tablets is Relative Tracking vs Absolute Tracking. This is the only true advantage tablets hold over mice, as the rest is preference.
"Relative Tracking" is something you're already familiar. It's how mice work. The sensor detects movement, and it moves your cursor. You move up, it moves up. However, if you pick up the mouse, it can't sense the movement, and you can change it's positioning without the cursor's positioning.
"Absolute Tracking" is where every point on the tablet surface corresponds to a point on your screen. If you move your pen to the top-right corner, your cursor will always be in the top right corner. Even if you move your cursor away, lift your pen out of tracking range, and bring it back to the corner, your cursor will instantly snap back to the top right corner.
The main advantage of this is that tablets are perfectly consistent. You do not need to compensate for mouse drift, and mouse drift is a big thing, but I'm not a mice person and won't be able to explain it perfectly well. I can get a friend to talk about it if you want.
The reason I say you should not get this product is because it is a relative tracking device, instead of an absolute tracking device. You are not getting any of the advantages of a tablet that you might wish to use, and I'm sure it'd be clunky and awkward to play with. You'd be better off spending a little more on a starter tablet, or just sticking with a proper mouse.
...basically, I really cannot recommend you purchase this "Amazon Link". You'd very much be better off either using a mouse, or investing into a proper tablet. I would very much recommend you check out the Huion 420 as an excellent entry-level tablet with which to play osu!
...I hope this helps!
