Redownload this chart if you downloaded this chart before February 1st, 2017. I used a different cut to make the chart more ergonomic to play through. You can download the original version here.
This is most of the semantic compositions EP by goreshit - a beautiful melancholic journey lasting 11 minutes (the album itself is much longer, this has a good amount of cuts). It consists of three tracks:
1. the nature of dying - ~2,860 notes, 12.65 NPS average
2. o'er the flood - ~3,336 notes, 13.13 NPS average
3. looming shadow of a tree long gone - ~1,260 notes, 18.15 NPS average
Needless to say, looming shadow is the hardest chart in the marathon; for that reason, it is the shortest chart of the bunch. The full chart is available as an individual chart with its own mapset - links provided in the songlist. Little warning as well: if you can't do 222 BPM dense jumpstream - play this on NoFail. Failing after 9 minutes probably isn't all that fun.
Enjoy.
Thanks to goreshit for making such a beautiful album, you can get his album for free here: https://goreshit.bandcamp.com/album/sem ... ts-meaning
Thanks to IcyWorld for making charts for o'er and nature of dying to begin with - while I enjoy my revisions and structure a lot more, the charts that you have made have made for a very clear idea on what I should do for each chart.
Thank you for playing.

11/1/16 - Map uploaded.
15/1/16 - Wrongly snapped notes are mostly fixed, fixed some layering problems with o'er the flood. Up to HP9.
6/2/16 - Back down to HP8.7. Fixed some sections in looming shadow and nature of dying.
12/2/16 - Fixed the last of the wrongly snapped notes, fixed some layering in o'er the flood and nature of dying. Added some kiai sections because kiai sections are cute. Should be almost done with modding.

7/4/16 - Fixed some really dumb error in nature of dying.
10/4/16 - Fixed some error in the beginning of o'er the flood.
19/7/16 - Fixed more unsnapped notes. In the process of repatterning o'er the flood.
20/7/16 - Repatterned most of o'er the flood and half of nature of dying.
21/7/16 - Further o'er the flood modding. some nature of dying modding.
1/2/17 - Nixed 60% of looming shadow.
3/2/17 - Last revisions of looming shadow, removed the obnoxious jacks in nature of dying.
4/2/17 - More nature of dying fixes - layering sucks. Minor change to o'er the flood. Thanks Abraxos for help for nature of dying as well. Fixed general sync.
14/2/17 - Loved. Thank you all for the support.
