What type of music do you hate/dislike?

rap, drump&bass, r&b, song too sweetlove and slow, trap and when the singer cry x_x err
I have listened lots of music but I still can't find any good jazz artists :<
I preferably like metal (in general), hard rock and post-rock of some kind...

That was actually pretty cool. Don't get me wrong, it's not something I'd listen to when I'm "in the mood for some music", but it's eerie and creepy, it definitely has something going for it. I could definitely see it perfectly fit as part of the soundtrack to some psychological horror film. Before clicking the link I was expecting total Hanatarashi-level garbage.Iridescent wrote:

- samplecore
- any metal song and derivatives and similar sounding genres without cool (always subjective) guitar solos or vocals i wouldn't give an effort to understand
- some gabber because they are really similar
- drone
- most lolicore
- although this falls under rap and hip hop i need to make a distinction for jeje music (googling the term alone will not help, search jejemon instead although the term "jeje" changed through time)
- uh... emo music? EDIT: term usage is ambiguous
- a couple of pop

What I do like though is classic rock, metal, and the occasional mainstream dubstep/trance for when I need to concentrate on something

As for ambient, I'm guessing that if you've ever given the genre a chance, you came across Geogaddi by Boards of Canada. It's one of my most favourite albums of all time. Took a few listens before it clicked but when it did it was absolutely amazing. Anyway, this is a pretty cool album I've been listening to recently.

Oh god, my mother absolutely loves Adele. Granted I don't think she's absolutely terrible. There's certainly much, much worse. But my mother's obsession with her, that goddamn Set Fire to the Rain ringtone that would go off every 10 bloody minutes. Jesus Christ. By far I only listened to dark ambient, not really my type since im the type who likes really fast paced music. Was about the open the second link but it is unavailable. EDIT: searched some ambient and they're something I can go to while studying.
To be precise most of my favorites fall under breakcore, speedcore, mashcore and the likes.
