Hello, my fellow osumaniacs!
It's been a ten thousand years since my last post in here.
Question still the same.

Is there any new inplemented option in recently updated client to conveniently manage/sort/keep-in-file 100+ beatmaps w/o a mess?
Maybe some third-party utilities to manage them outside of a client? Using some dedicated editable database files in osu folder?

Any news/words from developers that they plan to deliver such important thing like comfortable sorting and backuping stuff in future releases?

I WANT TO BELIEVE

Uh use collections?

Also check osu! wiki on song select stuff, and if it's not implemented, go make a search on the feature request subforum

Wait a week before bumping. Also have you understood what I written? You could have at least taken the time to say why what I said doesnt help.

I know how to use collections, thanks.

I can cr8 collections and put tons of beatmaps in em by hand (oh god), but how about a backup function?

The problem is, there no files with my created collections in osu folder.

What, if I want to manage collections outside of osu client and edit em in database files?

Inside your osu! folder there should is a file called collection.db

You can read more about the format in which they are saved in here: https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Db_%28file_format%29
