Merry Christmas Loctav!

So, it seems I should explain my thought more in-depth.

1. Almost none HP Drain variability
HP Drain is only different by 1 point between diffs Normal-Matsuribayashi. I don't think Normal is ever supposed to have same difficulty setting as Light Insane and keeping 3 points gap between Easy is clearly a big difference. The chance of needing lower values than easier difficulties are close to none. Nube's Hard having higher HP Drain than Seikatu's Insane lacks logic whatsoever, especially when that Hard has equal value to the harderst diff (and you have 3 more diffs between it). Difficulty settings should increase/decrease according to map's difficulty and even requirements on player (accuracy and ability to not miss) should be involved, thus even these settings should be progressive. When decimal values are available, I don't think there's a way to not fit to the difference. I think this was already clear, but I'd rather make all my opinions clear.

2. Inappropriate rhythm emphasis in Normal
Mapping to vocals is nothing bad if used properly, but I don't feel it is sufficient enough when it comes to emphasis. Emphasis is important especially in Easy-Hard diffs (depends on overall difficulty of mapset, in this case mainly Easy-Normal matters), it's important because it usually (in this case mostly) provides a constant rhythm, which is a good reference for newbies to keep up with the tempo and will improve his accuracy, because as he clicks to rhythm that is not that much variable, he'll improve much better and get ready for Hard mapsets which already contain more variability and difficult rhythms. There can be some inconsistencies, it can be mixed, but sticking to one instrument will usually not result in proper rhythm. Here are few examples, I'll try to point out all, but some should definitely be changed:

01:14:498 (1,2,3) - On 01:14:498 - and 01:15:188 - , she's almost whispering, so I don't think it clicking on such a light sound is a good reference for newbies. 01:15:188 (2,3) - seem to be following flute instead of your intended vocal, which could even work better if placed correctly. Currently it seems like she says one syllable on 01:14:498 - and second on 01:14:843 - till 01:15:188 - , so splitting them makes it feel like incorrect swap between vocals and instruments. In that case, it could be solved by putting circle on 01:14:498 - and moving the 1/2 slider on 01:14:843 - .
01:20:015 (1,2) - Is exactly the same case.
01:42:084 (1,2,3,4) - Here, using CTRL+G to swap circle with slider will result in mapping intended vocals and emphasize those 'catches' correctly. (in this case, catch = rhythm that will keep player on track, because it's more significant and constant)
02:10:015 (1,2,3,4,5) - This one is actually a little bit of paradox. On 02:10:015 (1,2) - it's at least in accordance to vocals, but 02:11:395 (3,4) - is the same rhythm but you 'split' those rhythms into different clicking. Let's say "- = 1/4":

You have rhythm la_la_la_la_la_._la. You basically emphasize the first la and last la after 1/2 gap. In second rhythm, on 02:11:395 (3) - you emphasize first la and 3rd la instead of last, which is not that significant as the last one. In fact, the "la_._la" is basically longer and somewhat connected, so if you want to stick to vocals, why not joining them together by one slider. Like this, instead:
02:12:774 (6,1,2) - Previous is basically same rhythm, but again is emphasized completely different way. Also applies to: 02:14:153 (3,4) - 02:15:877 (1,2) - 02:16:912 (3,4,5) - 02:18:291 (6,1) - I don't say variety is bad, but even if you follow vocals, it's possible to emphasize the most significant parts of the song in similar way.
02:29:326 (5,1,2) - This could be also improved a little. You used 02:27:946 (2,3,4) - previously and it worked pretty well as it copies and doesn't split the vocals, but now it does split above said "la_._la" (I hope the thing with underscores isn't very confusing).

I hope I didn't forget any and I hope this explanation is clear enough.

Gratz! Apart from the fact that Normal lacks quality and its non-rhythm-wise patterns make it just inappropriate especially for a Normal difficulty. Don't think I am just salty because my mod wasn't fixed. Well fine, I am salty, but that's because mapping vocals (where it doesn't even fit) is not a real argument for making a shitmap. It doesn't fit, because very strong stuff is completely omitted and in overall it's mixed randomly, you just swap between vocals and instruments in parts where just the exact opposite is major.
I like how everyone get censored and silences get thrown, when this guy is the one that starts being an ass here, and gets away with it.

Anyway the normal is fine, I don't even see where that's coming from.

Good luck for reranking the map anyway! :)

I would've embraced a warning post to call people to be more on-topic again, but an outright silencing of one party and removing their entire side of the argument (however reasonable or not) isn't helping anyone - all you do at that point is putting a gun to someone's face where a flick to the forehead could have been sufficient and would likely helped their personal growth a lot more than an act of force.

I''ll change these hp drain settings, yes, totally forgot to do it after your first mod

For the first one:
It's fairly okayish because there is the actuall vocal part starts so it's pretty normal to have slider starting
here, as for the second part, because flute what was metoined is pretty strong slider starting from the downbeat
would make the rhythm pattern way worse that it is because of unclickable slider end so it's better to keep it as is

Second pont: same, with exceptions about the second slider, it goes with vocals, when in the first moment there was no strong parsts in the vocal line so preference was given to the flyte

Third point: actually could be done in both ways, it's almost the same. If it's a slider + circle it gives more emphasise to the vocals, if it's a circle + slider it gives more to the strong beats and since the main idea was about mapping vocals there is nothing wrong with it immo
thought it's still stands on pipe's decision

Fourth:
02:10:015 (1) - head of the slider - strong beat, repeat and the end of the slider based on the vocals (these at the background)
02:11:395 (3) - boom 02:11:739 (4) - background vocals
02:14:153 (3,4) - strong instrumental part
02:15:877 (1,2) - background vocals but in this case it's made not as repeat slider for variety sake, thougt it still works because of pretty noticeable synth sound here 02:16:567 (2) -
02:16:912 (3,4,5) - pretty much the same with the second one i have mentoined, but again, it's not a repeat slider because of variety
02:18:636 (1) - instrumental part, 02:18:636 (1) - vocals thingie
02:29:326 (5,1,2) - (5) strong beat 02:29:670 (1) - 02:30:360 (2) - both were made in pruporses of emphasising vocals

Okay so, i can see your point, but yet again i don't see any problems with how pipe dealt with it, it's pretty much understandable while giving some nice variations of the rhythm, so i don't think that that normal is something what could be named shitdiff/shitmap/etc.
It has its own logic behind so people won't struggle when playing it in my opinion

Just some thoughts about it, i better let pipe decide

"Mapping to vocals is nothing bad if used properly, but I don't feel it is sufficient enough when it comes to emphasis"

I don't think it's bad to emphasize the "la la la" part , it plays nice!

Also , as Elvis said : "It has its own logic behind so people won't struggle when playing it in my opinion" :

I'm not mapping without my brain y'know! I mean , is it a bad thing to follow many rhythms because the song asks for it?

So yea, thanks a lot for your useful feedback but I'd rather keep my patterns which are mostly based on vocals !
Irreversible
Elvis has asked me to take a look at the Normal as well, and in my opinion it works just fine.

Only slider that bothered me was 02:15:188 (4) - , because it felt somehow not really following the vocals so well. You could make a reverse slider like 02:10:015 (1) - , no?

Rest is from my point of view totally doable by Normal players.

So, it seems I should explain my thought more in-depth.

It's louder than the instruments, plays very intuitive!
01:20:015 (1,2) - Is exactly the same case. Plays fine? What's the problem?01:21:739 (4) - follows the voice really wisely!
01:42:084 (1,2,3,4) - Here, using CTRL+G to swap circle with slider will result in mapping intended vocals and emphasize those 'catches' correctly. (in this case, catch = rhythm that will keep player on track, because it's more significant and constant) Do you hear the important sound at 01:42:774 - ? The song become calm until a point that you can only listen the voice!

It's called variety I guess? It plays in rhythm and it avoids to be repetitive!
I'd not call that a different way but if you say so , I'm really curious to see how you can map this and make it not similar for every patterns :')
02:29:326 (5,1,2) - This could be also improved a little. You used 02:27:946 (2,3,4) - previously and it worked pretty well as it copies and doesn't split the vocals, but now it does split above said "la_._la" (I hope the thing with underscores isn't very confusing). It's still the same thing because important beats start with a slider

I hope I didn't forget any and I hope this explanation is clear enough.
Thanks a lot for your feedback I appreciated it but as i said , the diff plays really fine and I tried to make it really intuitive!
Go ask for some testplays , it should be SS'd w/o problems!

EDIT : Also , jonathanlfj gave me some suggestions , fixed all except 01:12:084 (5,6) and 01:18:981 (5,6) for the reason that I thought it'd change the whole pattern overall! Thanks a lot for your suggestions !

22:30 EvilElvis: yo sorry for bother mind taking a look at one normal in my mapset? There was a little bit dramma around it so now i'm need an opinions about it
22:31 jonathanlfj: i heard about it
22:31 jonathanlfj: give me a sec
22:32 EvilElvis: actually people were pretty much okay with normal, but eh, i'd better ask more just to be sure that no more shit will happen
22:36 jonathanlfj: k link me the map
22:37 *EvilElvis is editing [http://osu.ppy.sh/b/787961 Kasumigaoka Utaha (CV.Kayano Ai) - (Vocal) you [Secretpipe's Normal]]
22:37 jonathanlfj: 00:29:326 (1) - omg why is this not symmetrical
22:37 jonathanlfj: cringe
22:38 EvilElvis: idk :D
22:38 jonathanlfj: 01:19:670 (6) - random normal sample wut
22:38 EvilElvis: well he just copied hitsounds from my diff
22:38 EvilElvis: there was a pattern
22:39 EvilElvis: but because it's a normal and it lacks some beats it's just a normal hit
22:39 EvilElvis: lol
22:39 jonathanlfj: the diff looks fine to me
22:39 jonathanlfj: you literally cant get more normal than this
22:40 EvilElvis: the main thing he were complaining about rhythm
22:40 EvilElvis: what is fine lol
22:40 EvilElvis: thought it got dqed because of hp settings
22:40 EvilElvis: i kinda forgot to change them
22:40 jonathanlfj: im assuming he had problems with 1/1 breaks that break apart extended vocals and skip beats
22:40 jonathanlfj: you are at 1.6 anyways just fill those gaps up
22:40 EvilElvis: well
22:40 EvilElvis: he posted
22:41 EvilElvis: and he is pretty okay with breaks
22:41 EvilElvis: but not okay with
22:41 jonathanlfj: let me look at his time stamps
22:41 EvilElvis: 02:10:015 (1) - this part
22:41 EvilElvis: https://osu.ppy.sh/forum/t/357174/start=90
22:42 jonathanlfj: oh for that part
22:42 jonathanlfj: 02:12:774 (5) - just NC here instead of the next note
22:42 jonathanlfj: 02:18:291 (6) - NC here
22:43 EvilElvis: applied for all of them
22:43 jonathanlfj: 01:12:084 (5,6) - this one change to two 1/1 sliders
22:43 jonathanlfj: im sure he is concerned about the emphasis there
22:44 EvilElvis: well, yes, but it was like "there is many bad decisions about emphasise so people won't play it properly"
22:44 jonathanlfj: 01:18:981 (5,6) - idk use a 1/2 repeat slider here
22:45 jonathanlfj: i dont get how you cant play it properly
22:45 jonathanlfj: if they were offbeat circles i can understand a bit
22:45 EvilElvis: same
22:45 jonathanlfj: but these are sliders man you can literally mishit all of them and still SS
22:46 EvilElvis: so yeah, want kd?
22:46 EvilElvis: i think i'll give pipes our log
22:46 EvilElvis: and let him decide
22:46 jonathanlfj: 02:10:015 (1,2) - actually for this one do the circle first than the slider
22:46 jonathanlfj: it will make it more consistent with the later ones
22:47 jonathanlfj: no its k im just giving my 2c
22:47 EvilElvis: thank you
22:47 jonathanlfj: http://puu.sh/m6hWw.jpg this looks much more consistent

This normal feels totally fine for me, rhythms are variable, it can look like random placement but actually it sounds good and interesting Elvis asked me once to map a normal for another version of «you», and I was trying to do something similar, but couldn't finish the diff

i'm so confused. i thought utaha kasumigaoka voiced by ai kayano was a character from the anime how to raise a boring girlfriend, what does she have to do with higurashi?
