Hi, probably not until Monday. I'm running into some problems on the team making algorithm ^^ Yes this is going to be automated, partly for the coding experience, so there may be some issues.DarknesStealth wrote:
Just a quick question, when will teams be created?
Cool stuff, i gave up after loopsDivineAscension wrote:

Haha, we have mostly figured out the scheme for team making. It's just implementation now. We have got probably 50% of the stuff done, maybe a bit more. This has taken maybe 1 day? So yea, probably will make it in good time ^^DarknesStealth wrote:

*cries in corner remembering the nightmares of loops crashing javascript*
I'm also adding another player to the teamXorcon-Senpai wrote:

Regards to that, we did take it into consideration and only limited to one or two HR maps per pool until finals and grand finals. We are trying our very best to allow players to be able to still play HR and pass even if they have little to no experiences for the first few pools.WhakMyWontons wrote:
Regarding the straw poll on whether to keep HR or not, aren't there more voters opposed to HR except for in the finals and grand finals if you bunch up the two options? I mean I'm sure people who want it removed completely would also be alright with it just in finals and grand finals compared to it being in all pools.
Also, good luck to everyone I'm sorry for those teamed with me if I anchor :'(

92% acc with 5 misses, that doesn't mean it's easy. Also, maps are meant to be FCd in a tourney, or at least to an extent where accuracy plays importance.Chemistry wrote:
the tiebreaker is way too easy

The purpose of these easy maps early on is to test the players abiliy to full combo songs. As teams progress through the tournament, the map difficulty will slowly increase till the point where full comboing songs are near impossible for the rank range.Chemistry wrote:

Sorry about that. It has been fixed.Tespia wrote:
It's Ataraxia, not Axtaraxia

keep the remaining mappools in secret ;w;
Yes. Sort of? It will be streamed and hopefully I and some other staff can do a good job of commentating. Bear in mind that this is our first tournament though, so we do lack the experience, admittedly.[-R1] wrote:
will be there commentaries?
All tiebreakers are freemod. You are welcome to mod the tiebreaker, but they are designed to be long consistancy maps and mods certainly don't help to that extent. Still, if you feel confident, you can try to mod it. Tournament conditions aren't as stress-free as single player, so we do expect to see a fair few random misses ^^Decon082 wrote:
Is tiebreaker no mod or free mod?
Thanks! we may have to get more people to ref for us though, since some of the staff are playing and they obviously can't ref themselvesCedohran wrote:
I like the management so far, hope the group stage can be smoothly played
AR8 was certainly considered when we were picking the map pools. (and yes, we play every single map that we pick. you can imagine how long the mappool took us to make x.x)xdominik wrote:
About the map pool I think that lack of lower AR - AR8 on no-mod or HD map pool is really regreatable it would test players ability to play lower AR's and would rise diversity of map pool I understand that AR9 on first round is expected but I hope to see more diverse map pool next round
Oh don't worry, it only gets harder.Tespia wrote:

That's up to the discretion of the refs. If both teams agree to it, I don't see why not.Praw wrote:
