After each player has chosen and played their warm up maps, both players can ban 2 maps each from the entire pool (excluding tiebreaker). You are then free to pick any of the remaining maps to play. However, between both players (I believe) you can only pick 2 maps from each category as a maximum. So for example, if you picked "Swing It" for the first map, and your opponent then picked "Clumsy Thoughts", that would be both nomod picks done. Meaning you would have have to pick a map from one of the other remaining categories.popski0123 wrote:

As Scyan explained pretty much, the one who starts banning is the player who rolled (!roll) higher points.
E: Oops, i got trigged even myself, the "Players can only pick two (2) Maps from the same pool" rule doesn't work like that, and actually the only part where it applies at all is the finals (WBFinal, LBFinal and GrandFinal), Since it should read "Each player may pick only two (2) Maps from the same pool". Thus meaning that you may pick Swing it, Clumsy and your opponent can pick another NoMod pick.
TL;DR Players can only pick two (2) Maps from the same pool, Only applies Per Player not per Match!

btw is there any way i can get in a match after 15:30 GMT (preferably after 16GMT if the tourney will run that long)
cause around 14GMT is like, near impossible for me to wake up since its 9am

Well since you are from NA, we would automatically be looking for later time for you on Saturday, for Sunday tho, rescheduling is practically impossible due to already how tightly scheduled it will be.Srzega wrote:
