True, I was just being dumb =P. I'm really looking forward to seeing how you guys implement reading.
I can't understand tenacity though, judging by (the first on) my list it seems like spaced long streams give tenacity. Is the spacing really considered? Maybe acc, considering that it is a od9 map. I don't think this should give ANY "tenacity" at all, there's only 1 stream on the whole map https://osu.ppy.sh/b/41646 .
Also, how do you separate singletap/slow streams? I know that I play some patterns alternating even though most singletap players would simply singletap through it so I'm curious.

AR11? AR doesn't influence Accuracy skill
His top Accuracy score is exactly that one on pressure map
no no I meant od11 (od10+dt), which is pretty common in ar11 plays. I think accuracy should scale a little more exponentially towards od11, cause pressure is "only" OD10.3, and getting 98.5 or higher on a OD11 map is more impressive accuracy-wise
EDIT: lol my bad just realized I typo'd that post, I meant that his Pressure score is LESS accurate than his od11 plays

Based on hidden objects, cluster chaos, time to react, and a couple of other factors. I believe this is the hardest part and might take some time to implement.

as someone said earlier, the site doesnt seem to update scores, i just redid one of my scores (which is my top for accuracy) and it still shows my old acc

I like this, it's very different from the new pp because it shows my skills in detail.

The tenacity calculations seem a bit off. I understand some, like chase the light and mendes. But why are arc and try this two of my top tenacity scores? Is it because of the stacked 1/2 beats which calculate as extremely slow streams? Is it because the slow counts in try this are recorded as streams?

Also, on http://osuskills.tk/user/Xilver/skill/tenacity vs http://osuskills.tk/user/HappyStick/skill/tenacity, how is ragnarok on hr less streamy than ragnarok on nomod?

It's really nice to see with all these different categories what your strenghts are and it's way more comparable than your rank.

I took a quick look at how this works. This is really useful in telling your progress in comparison to your friends, rather than using listed scores, or rank as a way to decide who's better. It makes the game a bit more competitive, I like this idea. Keep up the great work.

IIRC on the osu!tp site you could look up a beatmap with a certain mod combination and it would tell you the difficulty in terms of each stat. If you're already calculating all of this information, I think that would be a useful feature for the site. And maybe even be able to look up maps in your range, like be able to search for a list of maps with a stamina rating between [X] and [Y]. Awesome project!

this is great! one very big improvement would be an individual leader board/ranking for each stat similar to old osutp where players competed in aim/speed/acc points.

Great idea, but I found a bug. I don't know if this has anything to do with the beta version,
but my scores don't update, and I still have my old scores of when I first checked my profile on osu!skills.
If this is normal, feel free to ignore this post.

OD11 is properly accounted for, in my opinion. Keep in mind that Pressure is a OD10.3 almost SS. That's definitely a better accuracy score than a low 98% on OD11.

Recently checked it out, it's really nice!

Here's something to add, I personally think you should add multiple modes (e.g taiko, osu!mania, ctb).

Compared to std players, some of them don't play std often/not at all, and usually play the other modes.

It would be nice if you could add more modes! I don't play std often and I'm already good enough in Taiko!

Tenacity for Arc is high for that one long stream (spaced one)
As for Xilver and HappyStick scores - Xilver has less combo. HR doesn't affect tenacity

I think I found a bug in my information because my highest score for precision is a 21pp play on Kana Ueda - Pumpkin Ondo. It also shows up under tenacity but isn't there in any of the other categories.
Not that I'm contesting the scores that the map gives but that a 21pp play is nowhere near my top100 as my 100th score is around 120pp.

Its a great concept, but like pp relies on prior plays.
My Tenacity is rated 420, but I think thats only going on outdated info.
I don't know how good 420 is, but I know there's no way I could hit that today.

Pretty cool system though, useful.

Updater updatie update!
- Added Top 100 scores and Top PP scores autoupdates.
Global updates happen weekly and scores from Top PP lists update twice a day (at max)
- You can also see how much you've improved since your previous osu!Skills user update
- Added flags, an osu!Skills site logo, loading animations
- Added Recently checked section
- Added short skill descriptions to some pages
- Fixed some calculator bugs
- Fixed problems for usernames with spaces

If anything looks broken try clearing cache and/or refreshing the page with Ctrl-F5

Before this forum gets flooded by bug reports the following is known:
  • Long bars (900+) go to the next line in VS
    There are visible bullets in the recently checked section
    Last user's avatar gets cut off in the recently checked section if there is a VS search in the list

I think the calculation is a bit wrong (especially with Tenacity) but I like the idea, nice work !

I really actually like this! It's quite fun to check yourself out and see where you stand in terms of your own skill and to improve yourself in different aspects. It's really cool actually :)
