Hello everyone. - Dia dhuit

Everyone in the Irish community would be very grateful if we could have our own channel (#Irish)

All of the Irish players would greatly appreciate if you took the time to add this as we feel like it would better the players involvement in the community , The only way us Irish players can currently communicate to each other is over a Facebook group and Discord server that we have but many other Irish other players do not have these.

People may not know that Ireland has its own language ( Irish - Gaelige ) and it is a massive part of our culture. Many of us prefer to speak it rather than English. Having our own channel would give us a great opportunity to finally meet and communicate with other Irish players and to strengthen our community, Over the past few years the Irish Osu! community/rankings has quite grown and is still growing today.

We would very much appreciate it if we could have our own channel.

Thank you for reading this. - Go raibh maith agat le haghaidh léamh.

This would be a nice thing to have

I agree! I feel like we could definitely get more of a community feeling if this was added.
There seem to be a few groups of players already but with this channel we could bring everyone together.

Cant wait to use finally use Irish Ive been doing in school for 13 years :D

Since most irish fellows have been learning irish since like 5 years old to the end of secondary school, it would be nice for people to have a platform to actually use it for anything more than to pass exams. Even if it is as small as an osu chat

Please do this. It would be good =^_^= :)

I'd appreciate it, to be honest.

Please calm down a bit with your posts. You definitely shows that you want a own channel to chat but it's kinda unnecessary to leave posts like "pl0x" and "I agree". Instead, make some suggestions and/or leave more reasons why you need it.

Quite abundant lmao.

Do you actually gather somewhere like a group on Skype/TeamSpeak etc?
Sasuke_Lover778
That would be great :D

As it stands currently, it's not easy to become involved in the Irish osu community. While we do have at least one that's running right now via a skype group, it's very difficult to find people who are interested in participating in said community, and most of the group are only the higher-ranked players. It's difficult if nigh impossible for someone to get into the group without knowing a current member.

I think part of the intention behind the creation of an #Irish group would help those who are interested in discussing the game and meeting up with others of the same nationality, as well as speaking the Irish language, find each other.

Personally, when I was new to the game, I had no way of interacting with others from my country without seeming like a creep. My only option was to directly message someone, and hope they cared enough to respond. I only started to be a part of the Irish community when I gained a high enough rank, and started to get noticed by others.

I think an #Irish channel would help said newer players find a niche in the community they could fit into, instead of being forced to keep to themselves, like I was.

As i stated in my original post we have a group on Facebook (Irish Osu Community) and we have various Skype groups that we would converse in, But many of the Irish players are not in these groups as they simply don't have Skype and Facebook and we don't really have anywhere else to converse with them.

I don't mean to be rude at all, but this can't be the only feature suggestion with those kind of replies. There is an abundance on many posts both passed and stagnant.

True, which many do. But showing is still showing support, even if it is a half assed comment. A #Irish chat would be beneficial for the education of Irish players, who dedicate much time to osu and still must work for exam results. Having an outlet for subconscious Irish revision would be perfect, both for raising the community standards among Irish players and bringing fun to the use of the Irish languge.

THIS WOULD BE VERY NICE <3

This is the reason behind everyone wanting an #irish channel.
I honestly felt like this too.
I barely interacted with anyone from Ireland when I first joined, if it wasn't for Demon messaging me, I wouldn't have realised there was such a nice community from Ireland, and then I wouldn't have even known! Well, I was a little late to the party, but I think an #irish channel will
really connect the community, and who knows, we might even have the chance to really get to know some amazing people.
