Osu! showed me that no matter how hard I try people will always be better .---.
I started gettin' into all this Korean/Japanese things (not trying to categorize something)..
Like watching the Anime's I play the Intro's of in osu or listening to that kind of music.

How has osu! changed me? It hasn't. Sure changed the amount of free-space on my hard drive though, 70GB of beatmaps hory crap.

I may sound weird but sometimes while listening music on my phone, i tap the top of it with my fingers to make rhytm..
Somehow it's a stream practice to me.. fingers endurance etc..

My hands are a lot faster now thanks to osu.
I learned about songs I would have never have found without osu. (now I have more to pick from)
I learned more about myself from playing this game

I have learned that the more you play, the better you get.
At first, I thought I would never break 10k on CTB, but had lovely members of the Osu! community pushing me to my limits in order for me to get better. Now, I'm able to play HD and have scored in the high rankings on songs with HD+HR, and a few HD+HR+DT+FL+PF scores.

I have better reaction speed.
I realized I'm absolute GOD SHIT at this game and reaction time.
Tho my rhythm is pretty damn good.

Much more reaction speed to things that happen suddenly, as well as a greater hand-eye coordination. (Although video games in general gave me great hand-eye coordination.)
osu! can skip me watching animu. osu! can cheer up my f*ckin life
Made me quit literally every other game i used to play
I like to think it has changed the way I view music and on top that improved the my ability to deal with my rage at times XD

i met a lot of good players that became friends in the long run even if they're busy irl
meetups that so memorable so it came frequent.
well, it change me how to maximize my efficiency in short time like making 15 S ranks in one hour, bcoz i have my own work nowadays..

It has teached me that no matter how much I play a game, I can still be an alien to the community

While I'm a complete derp when I first started osu!, within these 3 years it has made me able to respect other players' skills in their respective mode/mods. It has also taught me to play games for fun, and keep trying as hard as you can. 
osu! has only taught be that by being patient and wasting hours of my life, I can too successfully click on circles.
