My first map after i knew how the BPM worked and it was sort of... average!

16/06/10: Lowered overall in Masterball.
17/06/10: Added colours - Changed soft to normal.
18/06/10: Added HUGE changes to Poke/Great/Ultra Ball.
19/06/10: Asked to mod if u saw something that have to be fixed.
20/06/10: Added GladiOol's edit.
22/06/10: Fixed Great Ball.

YAY I WIlL ADD STAR I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Modded the map because I saw a few errors.
It's not much, but I messed up a bit while doing the map.

Poke` Ball & Great Ball
- Timing & spacing looks correct. So it's good. ~

Ultra Ball
- 00:43:893 - In my opinion, make the stacked notes more visible.
- 00:54:709 to 00:56:129 - ^ same

Master Ball
- 00:09:847 to 00:15:697 - Stacked notes need to be visible.
- 00:56:662 to 01:07:292 - ^ same

& That's all I caught, but I couldn't see the approach circles fast enough, it's just some suggestions I typed.
You don't have to correct, I'm just saying it'll help a lot better & try to add some colour to the notes. They're all bright & shizz. D:
Oh well, I'll give you a star. ~

Is it better now or does it need other colours?
Shiro
to change absolutely
not great, to change if possible
suggestions

Overall :
CORRECT OFFSET : 3 280
I suggest you use the normal sound set.

Great Ball :

00:16:480 (2,3) - try using these hitsounds : normal-normal-clap
00:19:680 (2,3) - same

Ultra ball :
00:56:480 (1) - this one is too far from the previous hit
Maybe you should reduce the speed of the last slider.

Master ball :

00:06:480 - Add a Break Time here.
00:21:280 - after this point until 01:00:880 - , remove all the claps, or make the claps follow the music.

EDIT : it's good now, star~

I see this map on #modreqs yesterday, I'll mod it :P

[General]
-> Change the title to "Arceus Battle Theme".
-> Open the songs folder, and delete "Hitomi Sato - Arceus battle theme (zozozofun).osb".
-> The countdown is not used, disable it through Song Setup ->Storyboarding -> uncheck Enable Countdown.
-> Preview point is not set. Choose any time you like, then Timing -> Set Current Position as Preview Point. Do this for all difficulty.
-> Around 00:07:00 or so, there's break on Great ball and Master Ball, but there's no break at Pokeball and Ultra Ball. Decide whether you want to add a break or not.
-> Add source : Pokémon?
-> Add some tags?

[Pokeball]
-> The difficulty name should be Poké Ball.
00:19:280 (7,1) - Because this is Easy, the spacing shall not changed.
00:19:680 (1) - Sliders overlapping themselves are unrankable.
00:23:280 (5) - Unrankable slider.
00:30:880 (3,1,2,3,4,5) - Spacing
00:43:680 (1) - Remove clap at end
01:00:880 (1) - Add finish at end
01:10:080 (1) - Remove clap at start
-> Easy difficulties are made for beginners. And beginners click intuitively based on distance spacing. That's why spacing changes are not recommended for Easy.

[Great ball]
-> The difficulty name should be Great Ball.
00:06:080 (2) - One lv3 grid right.
00:17:280 (3,4) - Spacing
00:23:880 (6,1) - Spacing
00:36:080 (5) - Spacing (this is really confusing. I miss this slider at test mode)
00:51:880 (2) - Spacing. Also, two lv3 grids right.
01:02:480 (2) - Stack perfectly with 01:00:880 (1).
-> To stack perfectly, set the distance snap to 0.0x, turn off grid snap, and reposition the note.
01:04:080 (3,4,5) - Why not stacking each other?
01:07:280 (5) - Stack perfectly with previous slider.
01:10:032 (1) - Finish at end
-> There are other spacing problems, but I'll let others find it.

[Ultra Ball]
-> HP drain rate -1, overall difficulty -1 (the current one is definitely Insane setting)
00:03:280 (1) - One lv3 grid down
00:04:080 (2,3,4,5,6) - Unstack please, looks very ugly in test mode. Also, consider decreasing volume incrementally?
-> To decrease the volume, make sure you're between (1) and (2), then press Ctrl+Shift+P -> Audio -> Decrease the volume. Then do the same thing for (2) and (3), (3) and (4), and so on.
00:41:280 (5,6) - Not stacked perfectly.

[Master Ball]
00:03:280 (1) - One lv3 grid up
00:38:480 (9) - Unrankable slider
00:54:080 (9,10) - Personally I don't like the jump placement. Maybe copy-paste 00:54:080 (9) and horizontal flip?
00:56:480 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Maybe like this?

And, don't forget to Full Submit (not Standard Submit) the map. Star!

Oh, Circle Size is too small! XD
I think better -1
Master ball
00:38:090 (1) remove whistle or clap. Ear hurt this... Everyone usually say "more than 2 hitsounds is bad." Ever, I was said this by a good modder.
00:41:290 (3) ^
00:41:690 (4) remove whistle.
00:42:890 (4,5,6) please compose with (1,2,3) about spacing. This spacing is closer than (1,2,3)
00:57:490 (6) 1 grid left?(grid lv3)

Pokeball

00:31:680 (4) - I think this can be safely placed outside the grid. You should try to avoid oddly overlapping notes if possible.

http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/13778

All you would need to do is shift the 7 notes after it over and then full stack 00:36:080 (1) - on the slider before it.

http://osu.ppy.sh/ss/13779

Just a suggestion. It doesn't need to be done.

Ultra ball

00:22:680 (8) - Empty note. I suggest removing since it interferes with the actual beat.

00:23:480 (3) - Note shouldn't be there. The beat is 12-345 not 123456

00:25:880 (2) - ^

00:32:480 (2) - Reduce this by two repeats and add a note at 00:33:280 -

01:04:080 (1) - Not fully stacked on the previous slider. Fix.

Master Ball

Offset is different than the other difficulties.
Tags are different than the other difficulties.

00:19:690 (1) - Too many repeats. 1 is enough. Add a note here 00:20:490 -

00:26:690 (4) - Empty sound remove. It interferes with the triplets.

00:27:290 (1) - Should be a part of the grey combo.

01:00:890 (1,2,3,4) - I don't know why but these stacks are glitching out for me. The notes are being placed not directly under the main slider.

01:02:490 (1,2,3,4) - ^

01:04:090 (1,2,3,4) - ^

Eh you did a lot more than I expected you could with a song like that. This definitely deserves to be ranked. Stared.

Edit: I didn't see a Great Ball difficulty when I downloaded it.

I really like it but you can make the pokeball (easy) a little bit more easy.
For the rest appreciate that you've made this map in all difficulties!

Nice song. Interesting map. Star.

Also:
could you raise the health drain and reduce the general difficulty in Great ball each by a single tick?
I think they'd look better that way.

[Poke]
Ugh, such a huge grid size. It's going to cause some stupid spacing problems like
00:20:490 (2,3) -
00:50:490 (2,3) -

00:27:690 (2,1) - I wouldn't do a jump like this in easy. It's unintuitive and will just annoy if anything.
00:55:290 (3,1) - Spacing
00:55:690 (1,2,3) - Hell, just doing stacks like this in general in an easy is kind of iffy.
00:58:490 (3,1) - Spacing
01:00:890 (1) - Kinda boring.

[Great]
00:22:490 (3,1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - Stuff like this is a bit beyond the normal difficulty range.
00:30:090 (2,1) - Spacing
00:33:290 (2) - Hidden slider - these are unrankable, last I recall. Move it elsewhere.
00:38:090 (1,2) - Spacing
00:46:890 (3,1) - Spacing

[Ultra]
Um, why is the snapping even smaller than Great? Makes for really cramped play and is kind of annoying to read.
00:28:480 (10,1) - Spacing?
00:28:880 (1,2) - ^
00:29:280 (2,3) - ^

Just... scan your difficulties for spacing problems. A lot of it is due to the grid snap. And up circle size by one on Ultra, please. Try not to make things so cramped. It tends to lead to not-very-fun play.

Hi there! :)

Pokeball
00:22:490 (3, 1 of next combo) - Spacing
00:32:090 (6, 1 of next combo) - What is with this jump? Fix spacing
00:46:490 (4, 5) - Overlapping might cause people to think the (5) should be hit earlier. Move this left?
00:50:090 (1, 2) - Spacing, move right
00:53:290 (3, 4) - This overlap = NO. Definitely makes it seem like you have to press earlier than you do (this is what I did). Move up please, maybe right underneath ...
00:54:890 (1) - ... to get rid of this jump (it even fixes the spacing here!)
00:55:290 (2 - 5) - It's the spacing between the stacked notes I'm worried about. Move them closer together?
00:58:490 (4, 1 of next combo) - Same thing as above

Great ball
Lower HP drain by 1?
00:16:090 (1 - 1 of next combo) - The timing between all these is the same but the spacing is all different. Huh?
00:18:090 - 00:22:290 - All this overlap is pretty difficult to read quickly. Re - design?
00:41:290 (3, 4) - Personally I find stacked notes like these difficult to know when to hit them. This is a good example because the timing between (2) and (3), and (3) and (4) is different but you can't exactly tell since they're stacked. Unstack them?
00:47:490 (3, 1 of next combo) - Spacing here = huh? Maybe move (1) to the other side where the slider FINISHES?
00:50:290 (2) - Spacing. Move closer to the end of (1) (according to your previous spacing it should overlap halfway)
00:54:090 (4, 5) - Move these notes away from the end of (3). The score will stay on the map so it's hard to know when to hit them. Maybe move closer to (1) of the next combo, it also fixes the spacing
00:55:690 (2 - 4) - Same thing here
00:58:090 - 00:59:690 - Fix spacing please, keep it more consistent
01:06:890 (4, 1 of next combo) - Spacing. Move (1) closer to the end of (4)
01:10:090 (1, 2) - Spacing

Ultra ball
00:17:280 (3 - 5) - Spacing, it should be the same as the next combo
00:22:480 (7, 1 of next combo) - Spacing. Move (1) up
00:30:480 (3, 1 of next combo) - Same as above. Move (1) and the combo down
00:37:280 (1, 2) - Move (2) closer to (1) (should overlap to keep consistency)
01:06:680 (1 - 3) - WTF @ spacing here. Is this intentional? Even if it is reduce the jump a bit please
01:10:080 (1) - Why x2 here? I don't think this is needed

No detail mod for Master ball since I can't pass it, but watching auto play my advice is to watch your spacing.

Otherwise good map and nice song. I especially like the volume changes in the beginning in your two harder difficulties. Good luck with your map

Fixed.

Great Ball:

00:22:690 (1) Move this a tick forward?

That's about it :P

Hi zozozofun ^^'

[Poke ball]:

-corrects the name of the difficulty Ultra ball because it is Ultra Ball

00:50:490- its revolves around the slider one (because this far)
00:54:499-because from here until the time the notes are separated 01:00:490? I think they should get together ...

Poke Ball
Rename to Pokéball (or Pokeball).

So much spacing fail it disturbs me. Examples:
00:17:290 (3,4) -
00:29:290 (1,2,3) -
00:30:890 (5,6) -
00:33:290 (3,4,5,6,7) -
00:34:890 (7,1) - (Not stacking.)
00:36:090 (1,2,3) -
00:40:090 (4,5) -
00:44:490 (2,1) - Overlapping.
00:50:490 (2,3) -
00:51:690 (3,4) -
01:00:490 (4,1) -

Please fix these spacing errors.

Other than that, it's a simple 1/1 stream map.

Great Ball
You kinda failed on this one.

Well, "kinda" is an understatement.

The notes are too scrunched together in many places, making patterns unreadable. Some notable examples:
00:19:290 (4,1,2,1,2) -
00:32:090 (5,1) -
00:34:090 (1,2,3) -
00:44:690 (5,1) -
00:50:290 (2,3) -
00:50:890 (3,4) -
00:54:490 (5,1) -
00:56:090 (4,1) -
01:00:490 (5,1) -

You also have fail repeats:
00:21:290 (1) -
00:23:690 (5) -

00:25:890 (1,1) - 1/2? =[
00:36:090 (1,1) - 3/4? =[

Ultra Ball
Meh. I don't like this, really, but I didn't find much "wrong" with it while playing.

Master Ball
Interesting use of hitsounds.

00:16:090 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - Eh. Either move (2,3,4,5,6,7) out more, or move (1) farther away from (2,3,4).
00:20:490 (3,4,5) - Not very readable.
00:27:290 (7,1) - Swap new combos.
00:57:490 (6) - Move left.
01:00:890 (1) - Move left.

Make sure every difficulty has a preview point and in the same place
Make sure every difficulty has the same tags
check AIMod for spacing errors (ctrl + shift + A)
put all timing sections that change the audio 1/4 before the notes you want them to effect (check Master Ball in particular)
alot of your long sliders would look better being symmetrical

PokeBall:
could use some more creative hitsounds to make it more interesting
decrease hp drain by 1 or 2
00:14:490 (4) - I would move to top right hand corner so it mirrors 2
00:20:490 (2) - stack endpoint on 7?
00:46:890 (5,1) - spacing
00:50:490 (2,3) - spacing
00:54:890 (1,2,3,4) - spacing
00:58:090 (1,2,1,2,3,4) - odd spacing in general
01:00:890 (1) - boring, I would change this somehow
in general this difficulty is fairly dull, some more hitsounds in the right places will make it sound better but its also very linear, try and make some interesting patterns with the notes

Great Ball:
could prob use some hitsound work
00:09:690 (1,2,3,4) - these sound better as claps to me
00:24:290 (6) - delete this note
00:24:690 - add note here
00:25:890 (1) - I would start this at 00:26:090 (same ending place)
00:34:890 (1) - whistle on slider doesn't sound nice
00:36:090 (1) - extend to white tick
00:39:090 (2) - start at 00:39:490 end at 00:40:890
00:42:090 (1,2) - spacing
01:00:890 (1,2,3,4) - I would try and make these into a more organized pattern
again I would try and make some more interesting patterns with notes

Ultra Ball:
offset is different on this one, make it the same as the other 3 and don't forget to resnap all notes
make the circle size 1 bigger
changes in volume are interesting
make sure all the combos are consistent throughout the map
00:04:090 (2,3,4,5,6) - too close together for me
00:39:080 (4) - don't have slider overlapping itself
00:47:680 (5) - slider's like this could look better, make them smooth
last timing section isn't needed

Master Ball:
combo's arent consistent all the way through (not going to do a combo mod atm) but go through and see how it changes
I would suggest making circle size 1 bigger on this one too
the 0.8 spacing is just odd for the streams, makes them too close together
*my favorite difficulty*

message me when you have fixed everything and I will star
XepherX3
alright here goes
