Guys, TWC 2016 HYPE!!!!

Okay, so I got REALLY tired of me saying I'm gonna try to rank this mapset, just to abandon it the next month. SO, what I've done now is speedmap! Because of this, the set might be a little bad, I completed it in less than 24 hours. It's ready for mods, so if anyone wants to do it, have at it! This WILL be my first ranked mapset, or else I am not BrambleClaw!

Only trouble I've seen is the lack of significant breaks and some density inconsistency.

  1. SV1.2?
  2. HP should be a bit higher
  3. 00:07:829 (8) - Can be removed to provide a break before the 3/2 pattern right after
  4. 00:09:704 - 00:18:811 - Soooo many notes. Remove some in between for breaks
  5. 00:19:883 - 00:35:285 - Oh my god, ^
  6. 00:35:954 - 00:49:749 - Bramble please.
  7. 00:50:419 (92,93,94,95) - All these patterns like this can be alternated, since they have higher tone as the song progresses (hint: more d's at the first patterns, more k's at the later patterns)
  8. 00:58:990 - 01:06:490 - orz so many notes. Poor new players ;c
  9. 01:13:320 (128) - Usually it's better to emphasize the last note of the beat when it comes to low difficulties, so move to 01:13:387 -
  10. 01:15:597 (131,132,133) - What are these 3 mapped to? I suggest using a slider from 01:15:329 - to 01:16:401 - instead
  11. 01:18:276 - 01:24:704 - Again, too many notes
  12. Regarding kiai, you should give a 4/1 break after every 1/1 triplet you make.
  13. 01:50:686 (198) - Remove, for the same reasons as 00:07:829 (8) -
  14. 01:52:026 - 01:58:990 - Again, too many notes.
TL;DR: provide overall more 4/1 breaks, and even more after 1/1 or 3/2 patterns

[ Futsuu]

  1. 00:12:651 (26) - Move to 00:13:722 - to maintain a consistent structure
  2. 00:18:544 (39) - Move to 00:18:008 - for the same reasons ^
  3. 00:33:276 (78) - Move to 00:33:008 - and add a note at 00:33:677 - , same reasons ^, and then move 00:33:811 (80,81,82,83,84) - all of them 1/2 tick after. After that, move 00:35:285 (85) - to 00:35:419 - wow long move post. Reasons above.
  4. 00:58:722 - 01:04:883 - Even if the pace demands it, this is way too long. Consider splitting this into shorter patterns
  5. 01:04:883 - In fact, you can delete 01:04:883 (172,173,174,175) - and use a slider instead from 01:04:883 - to 01:06:490 -
  6. 01:20:954 - 01:24:169 - Everything finishers? That's like 1/2 full of finishers in Muzu lol. Remove notes+finishers
  7. Same for the kiai. Provide 2/1 breaks every so often. SPECIALLY after the 1/2 patterns.
  8. 01:28:454 (235,236,237,238,239,240,241,242,243) - Are you crazy? xD
  9. 01:34:883 (262,263,264,265,266,267,268) - wow

[ Muzukashii]

The problem I see in this difficulty is the big gap between this and Futsuu. There are too many 1/4s compared to the few 1/2s that there are in Futsuu. So I'll just point out some parts that need some tweaks regarding density and you can work on your own:
  1. 00:10:508 (32,33,34,35,36,37,38,39,40,41,42,43) -
  2. 00:15:329 (64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,72,73) -
  3. 00:19:883 (91,92,93,94,95,96,97,98,99,100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107,108,109,110,111,112,113,114,115) - This is sooooooo confusing for players getting started at muzus.
  4. 00:27:651 (135,136,137,138,139,140,141,142,143,144,145) - Tweak these 1/4s (either remove them or provide breaks after)
  5. 00:33:811 (172,173,174,175,176,177,178,179) -
  6. 00:37:427 (187,188,189,190,191,192,193,194,195,196) -
  7. 01:01:133 (299,300,301,302,303,304,305,306,307,308,309) -
  8. Also there are many 1/4s after the kiai (I skipped the kiai because it had a reasonable amount). Consider making longer 1/2s instead of spamming 1/4s all over around

[ Oni]

Same issues. The difficulty is too dense. Breaks are not successfully provided after long 1/2s + 1/4s

Pretty much. The last part is fine in terms of density.


You have to work more on lower difficulties. Newer players can NOT handle the density of the lower difficulties of this mapset, they will choke nonstop and be frustrated. And we don't want that, right?

I skipped Inner because I don't think I can be helpful there.
