Disqualification Notice



Hello!

Unfortunately, the Quality Assurance Team has decided to disqualify this beatmap. The following is a list of reasons and examples for the disqualification. We do not outline every issue in detail, so make sure to take the idea behind each reason and apply it to the entire beatmap as issues might be found in more than the spots mentioned below. If you have any questions, please reply to this post and we will do our best to clarify any misunderstandings.

Salad

Insufficient distance note-spinner

  • The following distance between the elements at 00:48:225 (5,1) - is not enough, considering the low Approach Rate and the low level of difficulty.
  1. 00:48:525 - Recommended starting point of the spinner
Frobe's Platter

Unsnapped notes

  • The whole section 00:38:775 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,1,2,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - uses a tercial rhythm, instead of the normal one followed by the rest of the song. Those are the notes you have to fix:
  1. 00:42:675 (2,3,4) - The ending of those sliders must be snapped on the previous 1/3 line
  2. 00:43:800 (2) - That circle has to be placed at 00:43:775 -
  3. 00:44:100 (4) - And this one at 00:44:075 - instead
Insufficient distance spinner-note

  • The following distance between the elements of at 00:48:525 (1,1) - is not enough. In such level of difficulty, with a high BPM like this one people will need more reaction time to face the next note after the spinner.
  1. 00:50:475 - Recommended ending point of the spinner

  • Having hyperdashes inside a slider makes the slider unstable to play and therefore some elements of the inside (droplets/repetitions) are prone to be missed. Remove the unwanted hyperdashes on the following sliders:
  1. 01:39:375 (1) -
  2. 01:39:675 (2) -

If you happen to have concerns about this disqualification, you can contest the decision with this form. Before using this form, please read the instructions carefully.

Whats wrong with hyperdashes at slider start, they are fun to play and its not Platter or Rain this is CTB extra so it can be a bit challenging.

Why in CTB mapping we cant use cool-stuff like this? STD auto-converts rarely ever have very fast slider with hyper at start of slider but it happens sometimes and those maps are too hard for most of players. At CTB diff CTB players should learn how to play such hypers, am I wrong?

you know, why cant you QATs check the map when you disqualify it THE FIRST TIME?

CTB maps only get ranked every one or two weeks or so and you guys never check though the map as soon you see the metadata is wrong. wow you guys are just working so hard right?

I agree with BoberOfDarkness, i will NOT CHANGE the sliders whatsoever. This is a cs4, i have tried it and it is IMPOSSIBLE to loose the droplets if you catch the slider head & tail. After all, high sv sliders might require precise movement, but it goes the same with repetitive Hyperdashes, or edge to edge jumps where if you catch the fruit on the tip of the ryuuta you might miss the next note.

no changes from me, and i will contest this disqualification.

oh btw if those sliders are unstable, show me a vid or something that shows that it is possible to catch the slider head & tail but lose the droplet, CUZ THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE


edit: I don't get why spinners followed 1/4 beats after notes is a problem either

lmao i was laughing this a lot. what's wrong with a huge SV on slider? the Hyper on the slider-start is to be meant to catch the slider-end no matter how huge the SV is, so normally just catching the Hyper and you'll catch all the droplets inside the slider moreover those are a straight slider with no slider-tick and a repetition, just a droplets. and second, the spacing between those slider is low enough for ryuuta to react so you can easily pass this with a full dash. i don't see any issue of those sliders that make unstable to play.

but the issue on platter is quite reasonable orz

idk lord of ctb ExGod said that it is possible to miss droplets it the cs & sv is high enough

About the 1/3(or 1/4) things in Platter, I doubt whether they should be on 1/3 or not. Listening to them, it feels pretty much vague for me and even did I doubt if the offset is wrong. I may recheck the things which are pointed out in the QAT post soon.

In addition, I personally disagree with suggesting not to put hyperdashed-sliders, as there seems little possibility of making droplet misses. At least it worked totally fine for me

Whatever, we can calm down ourselves and be helpful to the mapper by suggesting things, and then eventually we might be able to try rank this again.

Yea but after fixing the Platter, it is able to contest for the HDash usage I think.

I dont really care about the other diffs ciz it'll be fixed. I wont be changing the overdose diff and that is the only thing i contested anyway

That's not how contesting works. You can only contest the full dq, in fact, updating the map would make it so that you're not allowed to contest the dq.

Then what should i do? I am not going to fix those sliders and its not like a BN would give me a bubble since i didnt fix it.

Tbh me (And other BNs too) agree that they aren't a problem, so it should be fine, I'm pretty sure, as long as we confirm it with the QAT.

Damn it really piss me off , Serena tried new things and he gets punished for that
What do you want ? Same boring map over and over ? Seriously we have to create new things and make the maps more creative or else the CTB won't change at all . The hyper at the begining of the slider have no issues because we never loose the dropplet inside , its not because its something we never tried it means its bad (And about the unstable thing omg its CTB extra it means it have to be challenging)
