Easy and Normal

Looks fine, but normal looks kinda strange though.

00:17:369 (3) - I'm not so sure about this, I don't know what to suggest either, but all I know it has a overlapping and too-far issue.
00:25:680 (4) - Not a perfect blanket.
00:36:829 (5,6) - I guess it is too far.
00:40:275 (4,1) - In-consistency with spacings, I know you were making blankets but try move 00:39:666 (1,3) - left-nearer to (2,4)
00:44:734 (2) - Not a perfect blanket.
00:47:775 (1) - Making this a perfect blanket would be nice.
01:02:977 (5) - This blanket really bugs me for some reason, try fix it to a perfect blanket.
01:08:653 (2) - Move this to "X:134 & Y:183" looks better for me.

I'll only point out some of obvious imperfect blankets.

00:03:180 (1,2,3,4) - The current looks kinda overlapping, scaling them to larger size (x1.2) or rotating them at least 15 degrees looks better. (I would suggest to scale them by 1.2 and rotate them by 15 degrees clockwise) (Make sure to select "Selection Center" for origin or else it would look messy)
00:19:802 (2) - Too far, maybe move them nearer like "X:148 & Y:224"
00:56:491 (6) - Remove them? It would add more emphasis on 00:56:693 (1) -
01:01:153 (2,3) - Ctrl + H? Looks better imo, but if you don't want wide jumps then don't do this.

00:35:207 (1) - This honestly to me feels a little random, you don't repeat it like you did at 00:36:423 (2) - I would suggest you instead copy 00:36:423 (2) - and have a sort-of symmetrical pattern going on, and just make 00:38:450 (3) - a curve blanketed with 00:39:666 (4).
00:44:531 (1) - Again, random slider imo. I suggest copying 00:42:910 (2) - here and making a symmetrical pattern instead.
01:10:072 (2) - Big difference in spacing from everything else but no difference in the song? fix please.
01:26:085 (2,1) - I'd consider a blanket here like so. it finishes comfortably and nicely and flows really well.

00:46:964 (5) - Mapped to nothing at all, you really need to remove this as it's a build-up for the kiai. I don't imagine it's rankable to keep either.

ok general hitsounding thing let's get this settled. When you use finishes a lot, it ruins the effect of the finish. It becomes overbearing. Try putting claps (or i prefer hitnormals, but whatever you want) on the 1st and 3rd white tick of every measure (after the beginning part). It'll sound a lot better, since it's going with the drums in the background.

00:25:680 (4) - all these points yet i don't know what this is.
00:59:126 (2,3) - so like ask yourself, do these repeats go with the music? If the answer is no (Helpful hint: The answer is no), then re-do these so it fits with the natural grouping of the words.

Especially when it's on a weird part (ie. The red tick before the next measure.) If I were doing this, I'd have the big pattern start on the big white tick (it's sitll techincally in the middle of the sentence so sue me but like it's on a more accented part that is more natural)

It has lots of potential and lots of solid foundations which makes me a happy camper

As for the hitsounds, I've figured it out. The finishes you have on beats 2 and 4? Those should be your claps. Yay.

  2. You don't need to add "Gakkou Gurashi" to the tags since you already mentioned it in source. What you can do : 1. Change the source to がっこうぐらし! and keep "Gakkou Gurashi" at the tags, 2. Remove "Gakkou Gurashi" from the tags and add がっこうぐらし! instead (If you do that, don't forget to add exclamation mark (!) at the end of Gakkou Gurashi at source. You can do that at the first option too tho.) You can do either.
  3. Add "School-Live!" (the English translation of Gakkou Gurashi) to the tags.
  4. Why the combo colors so gloomy.... ;-; Try to use pastel colors, it'll fit the bright song more. BTW, I just realized that you used different combo colors... it's alright but it'll better if they are consistent (In case you don't know, song setup -> colours)

Normal

  1. Combo colours.
  2. 00:02:369 (1) - maybe remove every second NC like this one to keep drain at least a bit.
  3. 00:35:004 (2,3) - switch these in time and place, so you have the rhythm note note slider slider, since it plays so much better.
  4. 00:36:423 (1,2) - don't stack these, it might be hard to read.
  5. 01:27:099 (2,3) - pure preference: to reduce difficulty and to emphasise the last note, i would make these a slider.

Hard

  1. Like in normal, combo colours, you don't have them.
  2. Again, I would remove every second NC to keep the drain going at the start of the song.
  3. 00:20:410 (1,2,3) - these aren't completely straight, so either make them like that, or make another shape like a small triangle

I didn't see any issues with placements or rhythms, so there's mainly suggestions about hitsounds.

00:10:669 (2) - Change hitsound to clap. There's a clap sound there, and in this whole mapset, it follows a clap rhtyhm on every second beat starting from 00:09:858. It sounds better to me; it's more uniform. If you're going to accept this suggestion, maybe you should also change the end of 00:09:453 (1) to a whistle, to match the hitsounds on 00:11:074 (3,4).

00:13:912 (2) - ^, change the end of 00:12:696 (1) to whistle.

00:17:155 (2) - ^, change the end of 00:15:939 (1) to whistle.

01:02:561 - Add a circle with a finish here? It sounds similar to 00:09:047 (5).

01:07:426 (2) - Change hitsound to clap. For same reason as before.

Normal

00:17:561 (3,4,1,2,3) - Here, the blue combo's rhythm and the end of the green combo is matched to the vocals. Except, 00:18:777 (1) starts at the end of a phrase and has the middle of it at the start of a new phrase. It doesn't really match the vocals and I felt it awkwardly placed between the two parts that are matched to the vocals. Just a personal opinion.

00:28:912 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - This combo's rhythm is different from the previous two combos, even though they sound similar. Change to match them.

00:46:750 (1) - I don't think you need to start a new combo here. idk.

01:27:493 (1,2) - Here, the rhythm is different than 00:21:007 (1,2), even though they sound the same. I'd suggest changing this to match the original rhythm.

Hard

00:07:020 (1) - I'm not that knowledgeable about spacing and jumps and all that, but shouldn't the spacing go up on this hit from the previous hit? For this hit the spacing from the previous hit is about 1.5x, while the spacing of 00:06:209 (1) from the hit before that was about 1.75x. Maybe this was just to create the circular shape with the four sliders? It's possible to create the circle only using 1.5x spacing tho.

00:12:696 (2) - I think you're forgetting your clap sound at the end of this slider. Add.

00:21:007 (1,2,3,4) - I think this shape is just ugly D: Make it a square by either changing the spacing from the previous hit to 1x, or instead you could make a bigger jump than 1.1x. Maybe 1.25x or 1.5x. Maybe it's just me that thinks this.

00:36:615 (2) - I don't think you have to be so dedicated to keeping that clap sound every time. Remove. Just saying this cuz I failed here the first time I played it because of it xD

00:55:669 (5) - This slider should go up to 00:56:074, since you've matched the rhythm to the vocals imo. Delete 00:56:074 (1) if you're going to accept this suggestion.

01:02:966 - From here to 01:15:939, I think this section lacks 1/4 rhythms. Maybe add some?

00:07:020 (1) - I'm not that knowledgeable about spacing and jumps and all that, but shouldn't the spacing go up on this hit from the previous hit? For this hit the spacing from the previous hit is about 1.5x, while the spacing of 00:06:209 (1) from the hit before that was about 1.75x. Maybe this was just to create the circular shape with the four sliders? It's possible to create the circle only using 1.5x spacing tho. I think I get what you mean

00:12:696 (2) - I think you're forgetting your clap sound at the end of this slider. Add. fixed

00:21:007 (1,2,3,4) - I think this shape is just ugly D: Make it a square by either changing the spacing from the previous hit to 1x, or instead you could make a bigger jump than 1.1x. Maybe 1.25x or 1.5x. Maybe it's just me that thinks this. fixed

00:36:615 (2) - I don't think you have to be so dedicated to keeping that clap sound every time. Remove. Just saying this cuz I failed here the first time I played it because of it xD fixed

00:55:669 (5) - This slider should go up to 00:56:074, since you've matched the rhythm to the vocals imo. Delete 00:56:074 (1) if you're going to accept this suggestion. fixed

01:02:966 - From here to 01:15:939, I think this section lacks 1/4 rhythms. Maybe add some? added 1 more ._.

Note that whatever I say is my own opinion so you do not have to follow everything I say.

General

1) :idea: 00:04:586 - 00:07:626. Do you notice how the vocals get louder with each measure? I was thinking for that part of the beatmap, every 1/1 you add a timing point, with each successive timing point having an increase in volume to reflect the rising volume of the vocals.
- Applies to 00:58:099 to 1:02:000

2) AI mod reports some problems. Check that and fix it please.

Kyle Y's Easy
1) 00:25:667 (1) - I feel that it sounds a lot better if you split this slider into 1x 1/1 slider and a single note. The current one is fine but I think changing it will sound better.
- Applies to 01:24:045 (3) -

2) 00:33:167 (2) - I would not blanket it in my opinion. If you want to keep the blanket, fix it up as it is imperfect.

3) 00:51:207 Here there is a strong beat. I would add a note here as it seems like a waste not to use it.

4) 00:47:358 (5,1) - Distance between those two notes are quite large. I would ask other people to test this and see if they can hit it fine. I managed to hit this fine though it took a retry to get that.

5) 01:17:561 (1,2,3,4) - Looks a little weird to me in terms of aesthetics, but it is playable.

Insane
1) 00:24:047 (1,2,3) - I would silence the sliderends, to emphasize the synth or whatever that sound is at the start of the slider.
- Applies to 00:30:534 (1,2,3) -

2) 00:52:831 (4) - I guess making this a 1/2 slider will fit better with vocals and flow well into the next object.

3) 00:54:858 (1,2,3,4,5) - The star does not look perfect to me. I would use ctrl+shift+d as a guide when making the pattern. If you did this already then disregard this point.

Final thoughts
Good set, although there are some refinements that need to be made. I was anal with some things, but they can make a huge difference.
