Hello!

Unfortunately, the Quality Assurance Team has decided to disqualify this beatmap. The following is a list of reasons and examples for the disqualification. We do not outline every issue in detail, so make sure to take the idea behind each reason and apply it to the entire beatmap as issues might be found in more than the spots mentioned below. If you have any questions, please reply to this post and we will do our best to clarify any misunderstandings.

Easy

Inappropriate Gameplay Elements

  • There are a couple of elements that are not suitable for this level of difficulty, especially on this very high BPM.
  1. 00:21:230 (5) - Sharp-angled sliders like this can create reading problems for newbies players and they don't fit in the flow you have created here. Note that there are similar sliders throughout the whole map that should be fixed.
  2. 00:31:230 (3) - On this BPM, the players won't be able to react to the second repeat in time. Please avoid multiple-repeatsliders of this length.
  3. 00:44:230 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - Please avoid using 1/2-sliders on this BPM. They are too short, so they will throw newbies off when playing.
  4. 03:10:230 (1,2) - Repeated 1/2-sliders also don't work well on this BPM. Due to the low spacing, they even overlap each other.
Rhythm issues

  • A few rhythms don't follow the music appropriately. They can throw the players off, because the map's rhythm doesn't fit to what the players would expect from the music.
  1. 00:24:230 (4,5) - A 3/2-repeatslider would be more appropriate here, as 00:24:605 - is a very strong beat.
  2. 00:40:230 (1,2,3) - This rhythm seems very simplified, a rhythm that would fit much better to the music would be something like: http://puu.sh/jjYVN/eb0290f397.jpg While this might look more complicated than the current rhythm, it will be much better to play for the newbies, as the strongest beats of the music will be covered by the map.

Rhythm issues

  • The map often uses slidertails to cover very strong beats. Those beats don't get enough emphasis this way - Having them clickable (a sliderhead or a circle) would fit to the music much better. Examples:
  1. 00:34:230 -
  2. 01:30:230 -
  3. 01:50:230 -
General Untidyness

  • While this map is overall well done, it needs more polishing to be ready for the Ranked status. We recommend you to get more mods for this difficulty, to improve it's quality even more. Examples for issues:
  1. Some of the slidershapes are overcurved, they don't really fit well into the flow of the map and seem to be used quite randomly: 00:14:480 (2) - , 00:20:480 (7) -
  2. Some consecutive objects overlap just slightly, which makes them look aesthetically unpleasing. It doesn't seem intentional in these cases: 00:37:230 (3,4) - , 00:44:730 (3,4) -
  3. 01:19:730 (5,1) - The spacing between these objects is much lower than your average spacing, it doesn't seem intentional though as the pattern doesn't benefit from it.

If you happen to have concerns about this disqualification, you can contest the decision with this form. Before using this form, please read the instructions carefully.

The Beatmap Nominators may handle this mapset after the issues have been addressed.

Hello!
I saw this map go ranked and DQed, but honestly I'm glad it happened because I still see stuff that
feels wrong with the map. From the 4.6* diff containing deathstreams, to lack of flow I want to see a lot changed on this map.

If this isn't gonna get ranked soon, can I post a detailed mod for the mapset? :?

I just really love the song and it's a shame that this map would bring me no PP as it is..

With my post I was basically trying to avoid directly saying "I don't think this is ready for ranking."
But now you pushed my buttons and insulted my modding skills, so there's that.

If I can FC every 4.6 star map with no problem, and then have so much troube with this one,
I feel it is my duty to leave some feedback for it.

Is the star difficulty algorithm using now objective and accurate?
You can see that the pp system is immediately adjusted after the first 600pp+ record is produced (in std).
What mappers make is following the music and their thoughts, not restricted in the frame of the difficulty system, which is not even proved absolutely scientific.
That's why maps nowadays are becoming more and more similar: pp farms earns more favs and plays and become popular. Personally I prefer old maps that make players feel "fun" than maps filled with jumps and streams nowadays.

Like others have said, this ain't really ready for ranking ... it's hardly even been modded at all

Some words about last diff:
00:43:730 (9,10,11) - it seems overmapped a lot
00:33:355 (1,2,3) - this part can me moved upward to avoid overlapping and help with map readability
00:59:730 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - overmapped a lot too, reallly hard to beat and to read this (especially first slider)
^ previous same moment on 00:58:980 (11,1) have a "blue tick" between notes and this moment ^ is without "blue tick"

Everything looks good (if only thinks that singletap sliders SHOULD be to increase map difficulty), but it should be ar10 anyways, no needs to 9.8, because bpm is not 180-200. Thanks for OD8.8, some jumps had become clickable :)
